Warm and welcoming, Lundy View is a pretty, laid-back seaside holiday home on the north Devonshire coast that's perfect for relaxing breaks away from the everyday. With accents of sunshine yellow and nautical blue throughout, this family-friendly retreat offers three peaceful bedrooms and lovely open plan living spaces. Dog-friendly, up to two furry friends are welcome here, and with a tiered garden to the back with sunny patio areas and a lawn for games, it's a great space to spend time together, with stunning views not only over the sea but also the flower-flecked fields to the back. Lundy View's fabulous position means cars can be left at home, with just a ten minute stroll finding you at the beach and also in the bustling centre of Woolacombe.
Step through the door and immediately take the stairs up to the main living space. Turning left, the charming, contemporary sitting-room has a plush sofa, armchair, cushioned bench and beanbag for relaxing, whether that's watching a film on the Smart TV, playing a board game or simply chatting over a glass or two of wine. Next door lies the kitchen, comprehensively stocked with everything on hand for creating family feasts. There's a built-in double oven, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and all the other kitchen essentials for your stay. Leading on from here is the dining-area with a table for six, plus patio doors leading out on to the lower patio - perfect for leaving open on warm sunny days to let the sea breeze drift through.
There are three lovely bedrooms at Lundy View. The principal bedroom with king-size bed can be found on the first floor to the front of the property, making the most of the breathtaking sea views. The second bedroom, also on the first floor, looks to the back over the garden and has a double bed and the third bedroom lies on the ground floor and is ideal for children with bunk-beds, a Smart TV and bean bags. There's a family shower-room on the first floor which has a shower, WC and sink.
Outside, there's parking for two vehicles and EV charging, while the garage is a useful space for storing surfboards and wetsuits. To the rear is a fantastic, terraced garden. The lower patio, accessed from the dining-area, has a charcoal barbecue, with a set of stairs leading up to a secondary patio with table and chairs for al fresco dining. Head to the top of the garden for a sunny lawned area which backs on to open fields and has the most stupendous views out to sea.

We enjoyed staying in this property for Christmas. Woolacombe is surprisingly lively at this time of year, with lots of options for food and drinks. We walked on the beach everyday.

Really enjoyed our holiday at Lundy View. The house and garden were as good as the photo's on the website. Good location, fabulous views. Very well equipped house, comfortable bed. We loved Woolacombe beach and so did our dog! Fabulous scenery along the nearby coastal walks. We were blessed with really good weather for our week's stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lundy View. It’s in an excellent location with spectacular views towards the beach/sea and Lundy island, just a short walk down to Woolacombe village and beach (albeit a steep one coming back, guaranteed to keep you fit!). The property itself is well equipped and comfortably furnished, with a nice patio area and sloped garden with fields to the rear. We would be happy to return.
