Trelowarren Barn
Let time stand still for a while; relax and unwind together in this cosy, rural retreat for two. With distant sea views across the lush, emerald fields and horses gently grazing in a neighbouring meadow, Trelowarren Barn is a perfect choice for a romantic escape. Located in Boskednan, Trelowarren Barn is just a 10 minute drive from Penzance. Perfect for countryside rambles with breath taking views; lace up those trusted walking boots and stumble across the Nine Maidens, a partially restored, prehistoric stone circle in Boskednan. Trek a little further and the Gurnard's Head will provide a welcoming cold beer or refreshing glass of wine with a spot of lunch. After a day exploring, pour a glass of your favourite tipple, forget about the daily stresses of life and watch the sun set over the ocean from the garden at Trelowarren Barn. On the cooler evenings, the amber glow of the woodburner encourages evenings snuggled up together on the comfortable sofa.

Mr Keen
This is a fantastic cottage with every possible detail thought about. The kitchen is so well stocked with equipment that you could actually bake a cake. The decor is lovely and we felt completely at home from the moment we arrived. The surrounding lanes are very narrow and terrifying but worth the nerves to get to this place! Scenic walks from the doorstep, great pubs nearby (easy drive, long walk) and a great central point for both St Ives and Penzance. The bed was really comfy and although the curtains in the bedroom aren’t black out, it’s so dark and quiet round there, it didn’t matter. There was a lovely welcome pack and even the dog had been thought about, with a bed, food bowl, poo bags, and even a spare lead! Wonderful place, don’t hesitate to book it - we’d come back in a heartbeat.
Mr Green
A beautiful place to stay and close to Zennor to visit a relative.
Mrs Platts
The cottage was beautifully decorated with amazing attention to detail.
Everything you need for a holiday was provided to make your stay as lovely as possible. There was the most lovely welcome pack for us on arrival; thank you.
We loved the walks from the door, being surrounded by stunning scenery and waking up to the horses in the field next door.
We can’t wait to stay again with our dogs!
Mrs Morrissey
Great stay in Trelowarren Barn. Lovely views. Well equipped kitchen and wood burner. Bed was very hard. Lots of single track windy roads to get to the property that may be difficult for some.
Great location for exploring the area.
Mr Britton
Excellent cottage for two people in West Cornwall. Quiet location and beautiful view down to coast. Well furnished, warm, with large comfortable bed. Highly recommended!

Fantastic cottage in a great location.
Very well equipped and lovely view across fields to the sea in the distance.
Cream tea waiting for us after our long drive which was very welcome .
Best all round holiday cottage we've stayed in.
Highly recommended.
Mrs Wilson
Comfortable, well equipped property with great views across the countryside. A perfect base for exploring the Penwiths which are rich in antiquities and the amazing coastal path. Tremenheere Sculpture Garden and Penlee Gallery well worth visiting. Wild flowers and bird live prolific - was lucky enough to see several choughs around Morvah and the St Just coastline. Hope to return. Flora, my Springer Spaniel, thought she was in heaven!
Mr Baker
We had a brilliant week stay, we loved the remoteness, views from the barn were to die for, we enjoyed all the activity of the nearby stable with the beautiful horses and resident animals. The barn itself was excellent, clean and well looked after by owner Anne, well equipped, with a very comfortable bed and well presented decor.
It was one of our favourites and hope to return in the near future.
Mrs Stevens
We had a great week at Trelowarren Barn. The barn itself was warm, comfortable and beautifully furnished - really was one of the nicest holiday homes we have stayed in! The location was perfect for exploring both the north and south coasts and the views from the barn across the countryside were beautiful. We would highly recommend Trelowarren Barn for a peaceful relaxing holiday.
Mrs Rawlinson
Wonderful week here. The Barn has everything you need for a great stay. Despite the cold outside it is cosy and warm inside. The decor and furnishings are gorgeous. The view over the fields to the sea is lovely. Definitely would recommend for quiet cosy stay!
Mrs Nisbet
We absolutely loved our stay here, so much thought has gone into this beautiful little barn; it’s the perfect place to stay.
I’m a Fowey girl, but, I prefer this part of the county, and this has been one of my most favourite places that we’ve stayed. We will definitely be back.
Mr Gott
A lovely property set in a countryside location, very well appointed and within a short distance to Penzance and St Ives and the whole coastline.
Mr Thornton
We had a lovely week at Trelowarren Barn. I can’t understand why it doesn’t have more reviews on here. It was peaceful, with lovely views towards Penzance. It was very clean, very well equipped, with some lovely touches of a cream tea on arrival, and some essentials to get you started with milk, tea and coffee also a bottle of cider and a bottle of ale. It is quite central for various visits, we went to St.Michael’s Mount, The Minack Theatre, Mousehole, St.ives, Newlyn, Porthleven and of course a walk round Penzance. Main shops are just in Penzance. Just loads to do if you want to, or just stay put in the barn and chill. We also walked up the hill to ding dong mine then across in front of the cottages onto the next mine. Please don’t be put off by the few narrow roads, it’s not very busy around there and everyone is so courteous to you and you soon get used to them.
Mrs Franklin
This is a great property! Perfectly decorated and equipped, with a really comfy bed and spacious rooms. The views are spectacular, with a splendid view of the sea from the sitting room and garden. I would recommend Trelowarren Barn to anyone!
Mr McBurnie
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Trelowarren Barn. The photos on the website really don't do it justice. It's very, very comfortable and cosy. There are wonderful views of the countryside and the sea from the living room and the front patio. For a great view of Mount's Bay, just turn left and walk 5 minutes up the hill.
Dr McConnell
Very well equipped and comfortable cottage. There’s a cream tea provided on arrival which is very thoughtful.
The location is very peaceful and beautiful. Fantastic for nature lovers and walkers.
Mr Lindop
