Mr Bagnall
Stayed here five times in the last few years, autumn and spring, as it is such a cosy retreat from which to explore West Penrith and beyond. Of course, the Logan Rock Inn just down the road and Porthcurno, Penberth, Porth Chapel and Porthgwarra all within easy walking distance along the South West Coast path. Lamorna and Mousehole a bit more challenging! Fresh fish from Newlyn too. All feeling very seasonal with the Christmas lights going up in Mousehole. Gwella!
Mr Mills
Good property in a very accessible location.
Property comfortable enough, nice setting within the Penberth valley, and well equipped with WiFi, smart TV and most kitchen utensils needed for a comfortable stay, though no books or any games/board games as far as I could see.
Partial reason for choosing here was to be not too far from family who live near St Just, which was about a 20/25min journey. Close proximity to Porthcurno including the Minack Theatre & telegraph museum, St Buryan (where the closest off-licence shop is), as well as Penzance and Sennen not too far away either.
No issues with parking, which is situated right outside the front of the property. Be aware any dog owners however that access to the back garden is from the bedroom, but did note the garden does seem very secure, enclosed and safe for dogs, which was great to see.
A few small issues with the property in the first day or so (no soap or hand wash on arrival and property was extremely warm on the first night). However, none of the issues spoilt our holiday, more so as we made the most of daylight everyday for early November by being out visiting various places across West Cornwall and The Lizard.
We also got the pleasure of seeing a herd of cows being bought into the farm opposite too; really gives that Cornish feel and way of life, which is to be respected by all visitors alike.
Mrs Greenway
Just got home from a wonderful holiday staying at The Little Cottage, I would highly recommend.
I booked the holiday originally for myself and my husband, but unfortunately I had to holiday alone, but I had a lovely time and felt safe and secure.
I know the area well and spent most of my time walking the coast path and visiting the beaches and coves on my way.
I absolutely love spending time on Pend Vounder beach, but I do wish it was more of a secret and as quiet as it was 30 years ago! I also wish people with small children wouldn't try to climb down.
I had tennis lessons in Penzance at the main club and would recommend. The coach Ian was fantastic.
I enjoyed myself so much , that I have booked to stay again at The Little Cottage next year..
Thank you
Mrs Bashford
Beautifully appointed holiday accomodation, in an ideal location.
Mr Bagnall
Cosy bolt hole and perfect for exploring the tip of Cornwall. Mousehole and St Ives lovely as ever and so different out of season. Wonderful food at the Gurnards Head and the Ugly Butterfly. So atmospheric as Christmas approaches.
Miss Taylor
The Little Cottage was a great find. Location was excellent for access to the coastal path and on some days we just set off straight from the cottage with no need to get in the car. The beaches nearby are absolutely stunning. The cottage is well very equipped with high quality appliances. It’s compact. but perfect for a couple and a dog. Nice friendly traditional pub a few doors down. Great that it had a little back garden to let the dog out in. Daily entertainment provided by the cows going past each day from the farm opposite! We would definitely book again.
Mr Woodfield
Well equipped and beautifully presented property in a convenient rural location with easy access to coastal path and nearby beaches. A few minutes walk from an excellent village pub.
Mr Fenton
This was a last minute booking following a cancellation, and weren't we the lucky ones!
The cottage is idealy located for exploration of the local coastline and beaches. It was clean, warm, comfortable and perfect for a couple looking to re-charge their batteries. Recently refurbished to a high standard, and equipped with quality items (could do with a salad bowl). I shouldn't say any more, as we'll never be able to find availability for a return trip!
Mrs Turner
We have been going to this quaint little cottage for many years. We always enjoy our stay and hope to visit for many years to come.
Mrs Bryan
Little Cottage is plain and simple but well located, especially with the Logan Rock Inn just a stone's throw away (highly recommend their roasts) and the Minack Theatre nearby. The scones, jam and cream we found on arrival were much appreciated!
Mr Bagnall
My third visit and never disappointed! Even better now with extended porch and entrance. Great location for travelling around the tip of Cornwall and of course, The Logan Rock Inn just down the road. Walk across the cliff path to the Minack Theatre or take a bus to Newlyn. Argoe seafood restaurant in Newlyn worth a visit with a table by the sea.
Mrs Bashford
Beautiful appointed cottage, in a lovely location, Ideal for the beach & coastal walks. Treen is lovely, there's an organic farm, selling milk, yoghurt & eggs. The pub does good food & it's full of character.
Mr Bagnall
Another great week at The Little Cottage. Cosy, comfortable and convenient for the Logan Rock Inn (after coastal walks). Again, great food at the Gurnards Head near Zennor, Source Kitchen at St Ives and Kota in Porthleven. A drive over to Portscatho is worth it via the King Harry ferry, especially if you find the Hidden Hut! Tremenheere sculpture garden and cafe a good place to stop and not far from Trengwainton gardens. Beautiful. Weather kind too. Lull before the storm!
Mrs Maxwell
Good position and ideal for short break.
Mrs Macpherson

Mr Sumal
The Little Cottage is a compact bolthole, ideal for summer beach breaks, located perfectly in a peaceful rural setting. There's no better place to recharge the soul. With a shop and pub within ridiculously short walking range, and great seafood options a short drive away in Newlyn, you can't go wrong!
Bring a couple of books, and leave your phone chargers at home. Reconnect with yourself. Treen is the place to do it, and The Little Cottage is the place to rest your weary head!

Perfect cottage for two. Clean tidy warm and quiet
Mr Bagnall
I have stayed at Treen many times before with the family but Little Cottage was perfect for a lone traveller and my daughter and partner stayed last year and loved it. Convenient for the Logan Rock Inn and accessible coastal walks and bus service. Cosy out of season. Great food at the pub and also at 2 Fore Street in Mousehole, The Gurnards Head and the Tolcarne Inn (Newlyn) if you love great seafood. Worth taking the train to Falmouth for a day out. Beerwolf Books (pub/bookshop) in Falmouth deserves a look and the Chain Locker Inn.
Mrs Maxwell
Ideal cottage for two for short break.

Myself my partner and our 4 legged fur baby recently spent a week at the little cottage. The cottage is in a fab location to nearby walks, beaches and the local pub! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay the cottage was so small and quirky it had everything we needed and was very clean and tidy. We had only been there an hour and was greeted by the local cows in the front garden which was a nice suprise! We would like to thank the owners for allowing us to stay here and for the lovely little gesture on arrival of scones, jam, clotted cream, tea and coffee. we would defo use them again x

Our stay in Little Cottage was perfect! A lovely welcome of scones, jam and cream awaited us which was a lovely touch.
Everything has been thought of to make the stay wonderful.
Getting up in a morning and opening the curtains to the sounds of the farm across the lane was lovely and being able to pop across and buy fresh organic milk and eggs was great.
The garden is so lovely to sit in and a lovely place to eat and sit and read.
The area is perfect for walking and excellent beaches.
We can’t wait to come back to this special place.

This is the perfect holiday cottage for two people - so cosy, clean and well equipped. Brilliant location for walking what I think is the best stretch of coastal path and a fabulous pub close by for a pint and great food. We shall return!
Mrs Howe
Everything was provided for you; even dishwasher tablets, bubble bath and hand wash. It was a fantastic little, cosy cottage in a stupendous location. It took us a while to work out the cooker but we got there in the end and everything worked very well. The heating was superb and the little garden was really lovely to have. A beautiful place for a holiday! I would advise taking a few extra blankets if you are heading here in Autumn or Winter though. Thank you.

Another lovely holiday in our favourite area of Cornwall.
As usual Aspects-holiday provided us with a lovely little cottage in the perfect location.
Mr Lawston
The Little Cottage proves that wonderful things come in small packages! It really is very little but is a very comfortable base for exploring this wonderful part of Cornwall. We enjoyed watching the cows heading home in the evening from the window seat and sitting in the little garden when the sun came out. It really has everything you need packed into a small space without ever feeling cramped. Treen is a fantastic little village too with a café (Opening times slightly erratic), an excellent pub and the coast path and Porthcurno beach a short walk from the front door. We would certainly stay here again next time we're in this part of Cornwall!
Mrs Blake
