Midships, The Wharf

Perfectly located flat with amazing views of the harbour right and right in the bustle of St Ives.

Lovely apartment, great location and fantastic views. I recommend eye masks for sleeping as the accommodation has white blinds so very bright when sunny. We had a comfortable stay and would definitely stay there again ??

The views from the property are beautiful and the location is good. The midship is small so probably only suitable for a small family, there are 3 flights of stairs to the apartment so bare this in mind and can be a bit noisy at night time.

A lovely stay at Midships , the view was beautiful and the seats in the window perfect for People watching. Although on the Harbour front and slightly noisy on a couple of nights it did not detract from a very nice stay.

The staff at Aspects were very helpful throughout the process and would happi;y book with them again

Midships is a lovely position right on the harbour front, ideal for a small family and very dog friendly.

Location is perfect and really hate to complain but we stayed here last year and it wasn’t as nice.

We had problems with the toilet the cistern flush, aspects sorted the plumber and he fixed it which was good.
The bathroom tiles had black mould and there is no ventilation in there which left all towels and everything damp and musty.
No cleaning products to keep it fresh and clean. The chrome rack for wash bags etc was all ridty and the sink plug hole is rusty. Making it feel very unclean.

Would be nice in the kitchen area if there was more bowls, it sleeps 5 and yet there was only 4 bowls, crockery is all mismatched.

The 2nd bedroom, bed squeaks terribly and is very shaky it’s need a good dose of wd40 and tightening up.

And no hot water through any of the taps. The only hot water is through the shower.

The sofa and chairs are all so worn and squashy not comfy at all.

The balcony above is leaking and in the bay window the paint is all peeling off.

It’s really very tired and in need of some
TLC.

I really enjoyed our week in Midships. It's quite basic and a bit tired in places but its clean and cosy and the location and view are 10/10. I wanted to switch off from work and sitting in the window watching the tide come in and out really let us do that. We would stay here again.

Great place for an holiday. The beds are very comfortable and the apartment was nice and warm. It was well equipped. Great views and very close to the shops and restaurants.

The location of Midships is wonderful and the facilities and comfort are great. It is the perfect little home to either chill and relax at St Ives or to use as a base to venture further. The view is heavenly in all weathers.

Excellent location with great views but need to be fit for the steep stairs. Furnishings are a little tired and hope problems with windows will be resolved

We rebooked the same property purely because of the window view of the harbour. When we arrived we saw signs on the two main windows stating that the windows should not be opened! There was no notification before arrival that this would be the case and no attempt by Aspects to at least clean the windows before our arrival. They did clean them on the day we left!

Beautiful view & great location right on the busy seafront. Lively street life right below window at night - to be expected really.
Parked in long stay car park a short walk away which requires some back & forth to unload/ load.
Comfortable,no frills flat. Aspects staff very friendly & helpful. Would book with them again.

Great central apartment in the middle of St Ives, lovely views from 3 rooms overlooking the harbour. Good facilities, stairs are quite steep so if there were any mobility problems these may not be ideal.

It was dog friendly which was great and we would definitely return.

A few steps to get up & down but the view makes up for that.

Midships is a compact and cosy apartment with fabulous views from both bedrooms as well as the living room. Access to the shops, restaurants and the harbour beach is superb. Really enjoy our stays at this charming little gem of a property.

Had a lovely stay, very comfortable accommodation with superb views. Looking forward to returning.

What a fantastic, cosy little apartment. We visit St Ives every year and have never stayed so close to the harbour. We loved it and so did our dog, it was great to be able to step outside the door and go on the beach with him.
The views are amazing, it was lovely to walk the dog and then go back and have breakfast sitting in the window and watching the world go by. Will definitely be back ??

Our stay at midships was amazing. Perfect location & spectacular views. Like home from home & also has a washing machine which isn’t mentioned in the listing. Maybe take some earlplugs for the seagulls 5am choir practice which they hold right outside the window, I know this obviously expected at the seaside but they are exceptionally vocal, think they are just planning their daily pasty & ice cream thefts ??

Stayed in the midships in July . Nice little apartment really well situated with harbour views from all rooms. It was clean and comfortable and it’s pet friendly which is great . I’d definitely book to stay here again.

This apartment is the perfect location for a stay in St Ives. It is comfortable, has all mod cons and a beautiful view. A pleasure to wake up to every day.

Fabulous views

Our first time coming on holiday with our puppy, had the best week! Amazing location, brilliant apartment, & very comfortable.

Midships is in a fabulous harbour-side location with triple harbour views from the sitting room and both bedrooms. The apartment is compact but very practical in layout and although the kitchen is small it was adequate and both bedrooms were a good size. Storage heaters were not great at keeping the apartment warm during our winter stay, but this would not be an issue for most of the year.

A lovely apartment that was clean, comfortable & cosy. The bed & the furniture were comfortable. It had a fantastic view & was in the perfect location for us. A couple of little niggles were that we didn’t find the hairdryer til the last night, it was in a bag in the wardrobe behind the ironing board & the blinds could do with being changed, but they are just minor. I would definitely stay there again, I hope I do! Even if the weather is not perfect it is lovely just sitting in the bay window looking across the harbour. We had a fantastic time!!

A wonderfully located apartment just above the harbour with superb views and it takes dogs! The apartment is quite small but just big enough for 4. It is in need of some modernisation and feels a little tired. Both front sash windows need work and the blinds also need replacing as reported. That said, it is still well worth a visit!

Midships is located along the Wharf overlooking the harbour, the view is therefore stunning. The apartment is well equipped, it does include a washing machine, not mentioned in the property description.
Its a superb place for people/tide watching and its central location means you are close to everything you need.
If considering going during busy times, bear in mind the noise of the hustle and bustle just outside your window, great entertainment during daytime hours but not so during the early hours!
Would definitely recommend Midships, we have already rebooked!

Great location and pleased to find an apartment that takes dogs.
Having said this though, we were disappointed that the property had a very bad smell to the adjoining hall way.
Wouldn't recommend to a family with younger children as they would not be able to sleep due to high volume of people outside visiting the local pubs and eateries, till the early hours of the morning.

A lovely light airy apartment with fantastic views from all rooms. It is in a brilliant position to get the most out of St Ives. It didn’t matter about the weather as you were at the beach all of the time!!

Amazing views from all the rooms and in a central location on the wharf. Great property as long as you are ok with stairs and limited space around the bed.

Location & view were amazing the apartment is very tired & in need of some updating (new carpets) as they were a bit smelly.

Let me start by saying we love visiting St Ives as its such a magical place. However, Midships, the wharf came very close to ruining our week’s stay in lovely St Ives. Aspect Holidays customer service department tried to rectify the truly awful experience of staying at Midships but even with a small refund our week was tainted by the smell, the filth and the disturbingly old and uncomfortable mattresses. Apparently the owner will rectify the many issues with the property but unfortunately for us not soon enough.

This apartment is all about the view which was amazing
