Balcony On The Wharf

A lovely flat with the most amazing view in the heart of St Ives. The balcony was incredible and so relaxing to sit there. My dog thoroughly enjoyed being nosey at the people walking past.

If you’re looking for the best view in St Ives, this is it. Watching the sunrise was just beautiful. Take a pair of binoculars and relax watching the harbour. Loved all
the pictures and the bed was really comfy. We had a wonderful week.

Balcony on the wharf is perfectly situated right opposite the harbour beach with stunning views. Two flights of steps to gain access to apartment so be careful if mobility issues bit once in all on one level. Plenty of shops cafes restaurants and pubs nearby but not too close as to be noisy. Not the most modern apartment but retains its charm.

We return here year after year as you can't beat the view, the location and the covered balcony! We really like the storage room for beach equipment. Some improvements have been made which is great, but it is still dated. However this doesn't stop us enjoying our stay, it's clean and comfy and we'll be back again next year!

Balcony on the wharf is a lovely flat with marvellous views, the large balcony was also very good. It was bright and airy, very clean with good decoration and fittings. Would definitely go there again.

The flat is in an absolutely perfect location - so close to the beach, shops and restaurants, but also still quiet.
The views from the lounge and main bedroom are breathtaking. It's lovely to have a balcony.
The second bedroom is bigger than it looks in the photos which was a nice bonus.
The overall decor of the flat is a bit tired and the furniture/ bathroom/ kitchen are pretty basic. In my opinion these are all in need of updating.

What a fantastic place it is, when you enter the property the view just takes your breath away. It has everything you need in the kitchen and the beds are very comfy, there was also milk tea and coffee left fur us to get us startedAll in all it's a very clean well equipped property and we will definitely be returning

St.Ives is Beautiful! The Balcony is perfect for being within the atmosphere outside but away from the crowds!
The Sun goes away from the Balcony at about 3:30 - 4pm. So pack some warm clothing so that you can still sit out there as it does get chilli!

Stunning views from the living room and master bedroom. Enjoyed many an evening enjoying a glass of wine on the balcony watching the world go by. Central to all amenities but on the quieter end of the wharf. Have stayed before and will do so again.

The Balcony on the Wharf's two main attractions are the balcony and its location. To step out of the front door virtually on to the beach is wonderful and to sit with a cuppa and people watch over the harbour makes up for any drawbacks. The payback is the stairs which, for most these will not be an issue. The apartment isn't 5 star by any means but this is secondary to the plus points already mentioned. Aspects provide a very good service and having their office on the wharfe make life easy. I would recommend this apartment to anyone with the reservation that it isn't as modern as perhaps others might be.

Warm and cosy flat with wonderful view of the harbour comings and going’s. Close proximity to restaurants, cafes, shops and walks. 30 steps up to the flat so need to be fit! Comfortable bed and well stocked kitchen. Tea coffee milk and biscuits were very kindly left for our arrival.

Another lovely week at The Balcony on the Wharf! This is our third time staying at this apartment and we are hoping to stay again later in the year! Perfect location as it's on the quieter end of The Wharf.

After an initial hiccup with the access lock and a heater everything was sorted.
Views were wonderfull and apartment was close to everything. Only drawback were the stairs ( 2 flights) but that was documented at the beginning.

This is the second time we have stayed at Balcony on the wharf and have booked to stay again in February! The apartment is clean, has a wonderful view, a lovely large balcony and has welcome extras such as tea, coffee, sugar and milk. We have used other holiday companies in the past as well as Aspects but we have always found Aspect properties to be the best. Thank you to the girls in the office by the harbour who helped us when we could not get into the property due to a broken handle! They sorted the problem out within a couple of hours!

Perfect location, beautiful views. Not the comfiest bed or sofas. If using for just a base and out all day, then it’s the perfect place to stay.

Another fabulous stay at Balcony on the wharf. Even in not so nice weather we could sit on the covered balcony and watch the harbour life and the people passing by. Booked again for our third time next year. Love it.

This is a fantastic place to stay with a wonderful view. Many people spend their holiday trying to find somewhere to sit with a glass of wine to look at the sea. This apartment offered all the things you look for in a holiday at St Ives, It is with walking distance of all the beaches in the area, including ones where your dog can go if you need it to. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

We had an amazing stay in Balcony on the Wharf. The property was comfortable, fantastic location only a few steps from Harbour beach. The views from the living room and main bedroom were literally breathtaking.
So happy that it is pet friendly as our dog loved laying on the balcony watching other dogs pass by.
Already booked for next year.

It would be hard to find a flat in a better position. It is very bright and airy with the most wonderful views from the picture window and the balcony. So pleased we found it and many thanks to Aspects for their help.

Had another lovely stay at Balcony on the Wharf. The apartment had been refreshed since my last visit and the swan shaped towels on the bed was a lovely surprise, it seemed a shame to use them! You never tire of the stunning view from inside the apartment and whilst sipping a wine on the balcony, watching the tide come in and out. It's position on the wharf made it very easy to visit both the town and the many beaches and being down the quieter end of the wharf it was never too noisy. My little dog loved it too and even got used to the seagull tapping on the kitchen window for food! The Aspects staff were extremely helpful and dealt with an issue with the oven speedily and efficiently. I have already booked for next year and forward to another stay.

Excellent views from the balcony, lounge and bedroom. Close to all amenities and on the doorstep to beaches and walks.

Decor a bit tired in places, WiFi not working.

Overall had a really nice time away.

The apartment is perhaps a little quirky but overall the owner appears to want to keep the originality as far as possible without diminishing the occupants stay. Enjoy the views!!

A lovely, homely apartment overlooking the beautiful St Ives harbour. A lovely place for a small family to stay. Close to beaches, restaurants and all the amenities St Ives has to offer and very comfortable. Will definitely return.

Balcony on the wharf has an amazing view, so convenient to all shops bars and beaches. In my mind this made the holiday so relaxing and enjoyable.
This is was the first holiday we had taken our dog to the seaside. Both me and my husband couldn’t fault the place we stayed in or the location.

Balcony on the Wharf offers spectacular view of the harbour with a comfortable, homely feeling apartment that is ideally located close to beaches, shops, cafes and restaurants.
We loved using it as our home-from-home and will definitely be returning.

Great Christmas break. Love st ives. Great view and loved the apartment. Very light and airy. It was warm enough to sit on the balcony as well.

Lovely location with stunning views across the harbour, brilliant to sit and eat breakfast watching the sun rising and the fishing boats go out. On second floor so two flights of stairs to get down to street level - keeps you fit if you want to nip in and out during the day!
Decor could be refreshed in places, and a ‘quirky’ selection of kitchenware but when you are looking across the harbour from the balcony that doesn’t matter too much!

2 flights of stairs is a pain but worth it for the view from table.
You can't beat the vista.

Wish we had moved black marble slab in kitchen at start of the week as smelly stuff under them. Take a bottle opener.

we have been to the balcony on the wharf before and the location does not disappoint, with views across the harbour a great delight, especially whilst eating breakfast!

This property is in a wonderful position with balcony overlooking the Harbour beach and St Ives bay.
For this reason guests will continue to use it.
A shame that the owner feels disinclined to update the property as I’m not the first person to suggest some updating

Balcony on the wharf offers fabulous views over St Ives harbour as well as being in an enviable location in the heart of the town’s sea front restaurants and cafes.

The apartment is bijou but well equipped. The balcony is a fabulous place to enjoy tea and scones or a quiet glass of wine whilst watching the world bustle by.

Do not stay at this apartment if you require a swish, modern London pad!
DO stay here if you want a fantastic view over the harbour, a great location in St Ives two stories above the hustle & bustle of The Wharf, and a very comfortable, light and cosy apartment. And, it has two toilets!
The second bedroom is very much aimed at two children rather than large adults as the beds are not huge.

The cleaning could have been a bit more thorough tho, as this did let the property down slightly
It didn't detract from a fab holiday though. And the team at Aspects have been helpful and professional whenever I have contacted them.

The apartment was perfect and very comfortable. Views are wonderful. Great location on the edge of the harbour. We booked the beginning of December and despite it being chilly outside the flat was lovely and warm. Great week, would definitely book again.

An excellent location, the rather tired decoration could do with modernisation, but don't be put off, the magnificent views across the harbour and proximity to St Ives centre more than compensate.

Best location in St Ives, amazing views, sun spot balcony and quiet location (in October). The flat is comfortable, spacious and well equipped, but decor and furnishings are tired and the bathroom is not in great condition (lots of mould and very old). That said, we will stay here again as it's a great flat, just needs a refurb, and some TLC.

Balcony on the Wharf is in a lovely location, with fantastic views , as described on the Wharf. The second floor apartment was spacious well equipped, with some nice decorative pieces and pictures. The bedding and towels were perfect and plentiful. Unfortunately, we did experience some issues on arrival and the apartment was not cleaned to the standard we would expect, particularly during these times & this did have an impact on the start of our holiday, which was disappointing. We were not able to bring this to Aspects attention until the Monday morning, however the Team were quick to act and organised a housekeeper to visit. Generally soft furnishings, rugs and the Bathroom were In need of attention. Pet Friendly accommodation needs additional cleaning time during changeover. Hopefully this will be addressed as we would certainly like to return to this holiday let.

Wonderfully located on the 2nd floor above the Art Space Gallery and in the same building as the Beachcomber cafe, this property enjoys front line views of St Ives harbour and benefits from a great little balcony together with great views from the living area and main bedroom.

The property has great potential but, having visited St Ives extensively over several years, it is the only Aspects property that we have been disappointed with.
Some updating is required to address.

Stayed in various apartments in st ives, this is without doubt our favourite.
Saved money as didn’t eat out, got takeaways & sat on balcony for dinner, this property is all about the views.

St Ives is such a beautiful place to come to visit and the place we stayed in had the most spectacular views. I’d definitely holiday again with aspects.

This apartment has one of the best locations in St Ives right on the Wharf in between Cafe Pasta Pizza and the Gin Bar. The view looking out the window is stunning and the balcony is large and sheltered from the wind making it perfectly enjoyable to sit outside during mid December.
I do however feel the property is in need some some modernising and significant money spent on it to bring it up to a higher standard; the bathroom has no heating so in order to keep it somewhat warm the door has to be left open to the hallway, the bathroom fixtures also could do with a refresh, the televisions are very small and of poor quality, although mattress was nice and comfy the bed could do with being replaced as could the rugs in and sofas in the property. The kitchen / lounge has no heating apart from an electric log burner so if you want to use the lounge when you wake up you have to pre warm it as I wouldn’t want to leave an electric heater on whilst out or asleep. Lastly the door lock could do with changing as sticks.
Overall we had a great time and the view / location does make up for a lot of it but feel this property could be amazing with some money spent on it. Aspects - great service as always. Matt & Jen

Fantastic apartment in an amazing location overlooking the harbour and close to the heart of all that St Ives has to offer.

This is our second stay at Balcony On The Wharf and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
The apartment is very clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated and is well equipped. Nice white towels and bed linen and has a good shower.
What makes this apartment extra special is the spectacular view over the harbour beach and the balcony which we spent many an hour sitting out on with a drink or two.
Hopefully we will be coming back here again soon to our favourite St Ives.

A bijou apartment with unrivalled, unobstructed views of the harbour and fabulous central location. The balcony really ‘‘brings the outside in’

We found balcony on the wharf to be perfectly positioned for a great stay in St Ives and it lived up to our expectations. As you open the lounge door you are treated to a fabulous view of the harbour and beach and as the name suggests there is the balcony to relax and enjoy the ever changing scene. It was very clean and comfortable with a lovely kitchen. We were the first to visit after lockdown and everything went smoothly.

Excellent location and stunning views via a very large bay window and lovely balcony. Even when it rained we could sit and look at the harbour. Comfy beds, cosy lounge plus a very friendly seagull who kept popping on the kitchen windowsill, it was all just lovely!

Excellent location, book your car park rover ticket for the Island car park

We loved the location and views and we would happily return - including in the winter - if a heater is installed in the bathroom. Jonathan seagull seems to be a regular visitor to the kitchen window!

Our second visit to this superb apartment. Glorious views from the living room and what a treat to have a balcony overlooking the sea. Well equipped kitchen and supplies of dishwasher tablets and other basic cleaning products. Great that it's dog friendly too.

Amazing location. Lovely balcony. Best sea view in St Ives! We have visited St Ives every year for 13 years and this is the best location for us as we love being right in the middle.

We have been to the Balcony on the Wharf twice now and neither time has it let us down, so much so, we have rebooked for two more visits in 2020!

Balcony on the Wharf has glorious panoramic views of the harbour from the living room, main bedroom and spacious balcony. This Compact but stylish accommodation sits in an enviably central location and it’s charms made our holiday in St Ives one of our best yet!

The flat is well equipped and has a world class view from the large bay window. The wi-fi is quite good.

Beautiful location and very comfortable apartment. We had a lovely relaxing week with the bonus of fab weather. St Ives never disappoints!

This is an absolute gem right on the harbour with not only amazing views from the picture window but an outside terrace. It's great to have so much kitchen equipment and enough cleaning and washing products to allow us to keep everything clean and tidy. Really comfortable and spacious. The only downside is that there are two sets of steep stairs up to the second floor, not suitable for anyone with health problems.

The apartment has a fantastic position on the wharf and the views are outstanding. The apartment was spotlessly clean and even in November the heating kept it nice and warm.
