Cala Lily

We had an amazing stay at the Cala Lily, I took my partner for her birthday and she absolutely loved it! The fireplace in the outside area in the evening was magical. However do bring your own firepit BBQ if you want to cook outside! Inside the hut, it is super comfortable and cosy with the full feeling of being home with all the comforts. Will go there again!

We had a wonderful stay, great amenities, beautiful location and overall really enjoyed our time at Cala Lily. Would highly recommend to all.

A pretty cute property but only if the weather is good. We were unlucky on one of our days with the weather and the noise was extremely loud. We had acorns falling on our hut throughout the night and the wind and rain banging against the hut. We ended up leaving early.

The property is also quite small. No space to put bags etc and we were travelling with a dog so felt even smaller.

The property is well equipped.

This stay was so beautiful, I honestly could not of asked for anything more. It had everything we needed in it and even extra special little touches. It was clean and the bed was so comfy. I would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Cala Lily. The hut was just wonderful set in very peaceful surroundings and the little dining pod and fire pit a lovely addition. All of the interior furnishings and equipment provided was of very good quality which made the stay feel really special and the bed is so comfy and cosy. There is a small fridge, camping oven/hob, kettle and toaster so we took camping style food with us to cook which worked really well however there are lots of ideas for eating out in the visitor book. The hut is one of two tucked away at the end of the little field which is fenced off so perfect and safe for our dog who also loved being there as well. The self check in was very easy and straightforward with parking for your car close by and a wheel barrow at hand to transport your bags the short distance, a fun addition to the experience.
There are lovely places to visit and walks in the area our favourites being Steyning Village, Petworth and the Wey & Arun canal walk and many others to explore.
This was our first time away in a Shepherds hut so we didn’t know what to expect however we were blown away by the experience and for sure will return in the future.

Cala Lily was so perfect! So well equipped, the most ideal location, easy check in and check out, loads of recommendations in the local area which we used! I've always been hesitant about staying in a shepherds hut but Cala Lily was spacious and so comfortable, I had the best night sleep in a long time! We will be back!

A lovely little shepherds hut overlooking the field and surrounded by trees. A perfect place to relax and unwind. I happened to stay over the three warmest and sunniest days of the year so far this year (June 2024)! I was incredibly lucky! The outside seating area was perfect. In the shade after 11am, so a peaceful place to sit and relax and read my book. The bed was very comfortable. The facilities provided - all that you need really. I would certainly recommend.
PS - I really appreciated the wheelbarrow as a transport system to move my stuff a short distance from my car into the hut. That is a very thoughtful thing to do! Thank you ??

Cannot recommend this location and both the Shepherds Hut and the Treehouse enough - we love this place!

Cala Lives ly was in a beautiful location, so peaceful, just what I wanted. Easy to access, well equipped, and the bed was so comfortable

Absolutely fabulous shepherd's hut. So well equipped. Beautifully furnished. The best we've stayed in. The fields are so peaceful & quiet. The outdoor seating area is wonderful. The bed is comfy. We will definitely stay here again!

What a fantastic find - the surrounds were peaceful and pleasant. The snug and fire pit really sealed the deal. Cala Lily had a great balance of authenticity, luxury and practicalness. The location was spot-on, within easy reach of some wonderful towns and places to visit, such as Birling Gap, (Seven Sisters and Beachy Head) Brighton, Pulborough and Amberly (museum) especially. Kinsbrook vineyards were a great find, and so close to our place.

Cala Lily or its sibling hut Douglas Fir will definitely be in our future stay-list for sure. Thank You!

Cala lily was so clean and comfy and exactly how described if not better. In the middle of no where , a great outside area with a fire pit. Everything you need in the shepherds hut. We had a great stay.
