Tucked away in a peaceful hamlet near the village of Herstmonceux, this quintessential English country cottage lends itself to family gatherings, celebrations or romantic breaks. Beautifully styled and brimming with character Broyle Cottage has a perfect mix of rustic charm and modern-day living.

Stepping inside you are greeted by oak beams (some low), undulating floors, leaded windows, open fires and pitched rooms which tell a story and reflects its heritage.

From the garden, step into the kitchen which has all the chef of the party needs to rustle up some family favourites using some delicious Sussex produce. The dining-room sits next door and has a beautiful table, open fire and sofa.

Move to the sitting-room, light the fire and snuggle up to watch movies or play board games together.

When the time comes to rest one's sleepy head, there are three beautifully appointed bedrooms to choose from. On the ground floor is a spacious king-size double with a door that opens to the pretty cottage garden. The ground floor also has a spacious shower-room and a cloakroom. Stairs lead to the first floor where you will find a king-size with an en suite bathroom, and a double which shares the ground floor shower-room or the en suite bathroom.

The charming cottage garden has many places to relax; bursting with colour throughout the year it's a gardener's dream and includes a raised deck which sits beneath a large pergola, perfect for al fresco dining, a morning coffee or barbecues beneath the twinkling stars.
