Miss Thompson

We really enjoyed our stay at Skippers Rest. The place was cozy, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The location was perfect , close to everything we needed and right in the heart of St Ives . Highly recommend !

Mrs Foale

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Has everything you need. Been staying there for a few years now and have already booked ours next two holidays there. Perfect location

Mrs Knell

This was our first visit to St Ives and we stayed at The Skippers Rest. It was a great location for us, close to the harbour and beaches and some amazing places to eat. We even booked an extra night whilst we were there. We would definitely come back and use Aspects Holidays, they provided an excellent service.

Mrs. Schouten

Overall, Skipper's Rest exceeded our expectations tremendously. The location is amazing, right off of Fore Street, but in a very quiet street, which we loved. The apartment is very well equipped and has everything you may need while on holiday in St. Ives. Even some ice packs in the freezer and a little cooling bag to bring snacks to the beach in warmer weather. There were excessive sockets so we could charge our devices in different places. We were also pleasantly surprised by the washer dryer combination. The little cream tea welcome was also a very nice touch and immediately got us into holiday mode.

Please be aware while booking that the bedroom does not have a window. It's visible in the pictures, so we knew this beforehand. It wasn't really an issue for us, but if you're -like us- used to sleeping with the window open, this does mean you'll need to keep the bedroom door ajar to promote airflow.

All in all we really enjoyed our stay in Skipper's Rest and we're already looking into staying here again, so highly recommend!

Mr Tindall

The Skippers Rest exceeded expectations. It is in a fantastic location in the centre of town but tucked away so still maintains privacy. It is a lovely quaint place with everything you need for the holiday for 2 people. We will Definitely be looking to book again in the future as it is great value for money

Mrs Fortune

Had a wonderful stay in skippers rest! It was perfect for the two of us and it was so lovely to be allowed to take our small dog!

Mrs Penny

Another lovely stay at Skippers Rest - it is perfectly situated for the Harbour and the beaches, and is in a lovely part of the town - quiet and sheltered yet still in the heart of things. The two main rooms are nicely proportioned and it is well equipped - having a washer-dryer was really handy! I really appreciated the flexibility of being able to book the extra days, being able to arrive on a Friday and leave on a Monday worked well for me on this visit. Definitely one of my favourite places to stay in St Ives!

Ms Harrison

Lovely comfortable place for two people with shops, cafes and beaches on the doorstep

Mrs Weaver

The accommodation is in a perfect spot in the town ,is a safe location for children with a small courtyard making it private, just yards from the beach, harbour, shops, food outlets, making it a relaxing holiday.

Miss Jones

Lovely location, modern, comfy and so so quiet! We even had scones, jam and cream waiting for us. My partner and I stayed with our retriever, and it was a little cosy with all bits for the week, but worth it to be in St Ives!

Mr Arnott

Exactly as described and more than adequate size for a couple and dog. Great little secure terrace that gets some evening sun. It’s a little compact with kitchen storage space limited but outweighed by great location. Eat out at the many restaurants on your doorstep.

Mrs Gallerway

Would not like to leave feedback as I think it would put people off from staying in this apartment.

Mrs Foale

It’s about our fifth stay in skippers rest and it was beautiful once again. Stayed in various cottages in st Ives over fourty years, this is our favourite.

Mrs Simpson

Small apartment, in a quiet spot but very local to town. Shared courtyard at the front that’s gated.
Hair dryer, washer, dishwasher all present.
Bathroom is off the bedroom which was great for us as it didn’t wake the dog in the night.
We got a permit of the island car park - £20 for the week.

Mr Syms

This is a great bolt hole, perfect for two. Close to the high street, but tucked away from the noise. Spotlessly clean and well appointed. Outside area was a really bonus. Great to sit in the sun on the afternoon.

Miss Randolph

Skippers Rest is a lovely little place, the location is incredible, the property is nicely decorated and makes the most of the space available. As we have always found with aspects properties it was spotlessly clean. The kitchen was well equipped and the welcome pack (tea, coffee, milk, dishwasher tabs etc) was helpful, the scones particularly were appreciated! Great that the property is dog friendly. Storage is a bit tight although that is often the case with cottages, if guests were planning to do a big shop and self cater most meals for a stretch of time they might struggle to find cupboard space to store food (to us that was just a good reason to make the most of the amazing food St Ives has to offer!). We also experienced some noise from the property above (hearing them walking around etc) for the second half of our holiday but this might not bother some people. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will continue to use aspects for our St Ives getaways!

Mrs Wakefield

Lovely little cottage for 2 close to places to shop and eat .
We loved it so much we have booked to go again .

Miss Colley

This is a lovely little cottage for two. It’s a clever layout that makes it feel bigger than it is. Perfectly located a 30 second walk from the shops and 1 minute walk from the beach and the harbour which is priceless. Our only issue was the shower was too small for my other half who is 6ft 3, but then that’s cottages. Would definitely recommend to a couple or someone travelling alone!

Mr Rush

Excellent cottage in an excellent location, would definitely return again and would recommend to other guests

Mrs Penny

Situated in a lovely quiet location yet within moments of Fore Street and The Digey. Cosy and ideal for 1-2 people. Well equipped and comfortable.

Mrs Siddall

Brilliant location and a lovely little cottage. Would definitely book it again.

Mrs Bartlett

Lovely property, very happy and will be back again. Thank you.

Mr Martin

Disappointed with skippers rest, it didn’t come up to photos shown by Aspects Holidays
Dark and dirty in places, no window in bedroom or en-suite, had to leave the one door open for light and to air the bedroom and en-suite.
I believe Aspect have now mentioned no window after complaining to them about this and the cleanliness of the place

Ms Burnham

An tiny cottage, very dark, centrally located in St Ives. Ideal for one, would have been a bit cramped for two. There is an outside space, but untidy and didn’t get any sun. Good for hanging out wet swimwear though!

Mr Gamble

This was my second visit to Skippers rest, and is the perfect accommodation for solo travellers or a couple. Compact but perfect for me, and the location is amazing - right off the Main Street and seconds away from the harbour and seafront.
I’ll definitely be back.

Mr Lacey

Excellent location and well kept, bijou, accommodation.
Somewhere I would definitely re-book

Mr Ward

Skippers rest is a lovely property close to the harbour and right up close to all the shops and restaurants. The property has everything you will need to get you started , it’s spotless, cosy and very homely feeling . We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Wonderful property in a fantastic location.

Miss Lellow

Wonderful little cottage, great location. Just enough for a couple with a dog.

Miss Higgins

This was our second stay at Skippers Rest and we loved it just as much as the first. Great location with a shared enclosed courtyard perfect for a well behaved dog. Difficult to believe you're steps from Fore Street as it's so quiet and calm on Virgin Street. We did hear the gentleman upstairs snoring a couple of times but it's not unexpected in such close quarters. Overall we would recommend this property to other couples with a dog.

Mrs Treherne

Great location. Clean and comfortable. Shame about all the rain. Will definitely book again.

Mr Stocker

PROPERTY IS A GREAT POSITION BUT BE AWARE OF DIFFICULTY IN GETTING LUGGAGE TO AND FROM LOCATION.

Mrs Pattinson

Had a great holiday staying at this apartment in a quiet location but right in the heart of St Ives. The accommodation was small but well designed with outdoor space. Would recommend.

Mr Gamble

A great, compact property in a superb location. It has everything you need and is just seconds from Fore Street. Furnished to an excellent standard with great facilities.
If you need to stay in touch with people, Wi-Fi is a bit temperamental and there's minimal phone signal inside, but otherwise you can't fault it.

Mrs Penny

Lovely to stay at Skippers Rest again. Perfect location and very comfortable. Being greeted by a cream tea and a cuppa on arrival after train journey was very welcome!! Fresh daffodils were a lovely touch and lasted beautifully.

Mrs Partridge

Brilliant location and quiet location simply lovely Would definitely stay again

Mrs Marshall

What a stunning little property. Location is quiet but just steps away from the hustle and bustle of Fore St. Very comfortable with everything you need. I would definitely book again.

Mr Cordwell

Look at the pictures carefully. If you've not been to St Ives before, pay close attention to parking availability and distance for car parks to your chsen property.

Miss Grealy

Perfect quiet little property ideal for a couple, brilliant location!

Mrs Thomas

Fabulous little property. Great location. Spotlessly clean with good quality furnishing and equipment.

Mrs Penny

We had a lovely weekend stay at Skipper’s Rest. It’s in a lovely quiet location but really handy for Fore street and the Downalong area of St Ives. Perfect for a couple or single traveller. Looking forward to staying there again in the future.

Miss Hunt

Fantastic location a stone's throw from Fore Street. Modern accommodation with classy furnishings. Cosy and comfortable.

Mrs Reed

Excellent property, fab location, decorated to high standard and very clean, definitely stay again
