One Molteno Place

This is the third time we have stayed at One Molteno Place and we feel at home here. Suitable for a family with dogs and small children.

The property has everything we need to relax and enjoy our stay. I have to say the mosaics were amazing and much admired!

Close to the town, beaches and middle car park, great location!

Lovely house, perfect location big enough for a large family and a dog. Kitchen very well equipped, with plenty of room. Our kitchen tap was leaking quite bad, phoned the office they sent a Plummer straight out and fixed it.
Parking for a wk at lesuire centre under £30 but after 2 days got in car and ticket flew out of window so another £30 ??so book and pay for it on the app as all details come up when they come round and check and not just them looking at your ticket.

Lovely stay, very comfortable. Great location as it was walking distance to the harbour and beaches. Great dog friendly garden.

Fabulous house, plenty of room for all the family and dogs if you have them. Lovely garden with a fire pit and a BBQ. Lots of gorgeous artwork which I assume was done by the owner, very talented. Sea views from the top of the garden and the master bedroom. Great location and not too far to walk to town and from there about 10 mins to Minster or Gwidden beaches (our favourites) We will be booking this house again next year. Definitely recommend this property,

Garden Is Great Asset To Have If Not Wanting To Go Out To The Beach.Ideal Location For Parking For Two Long Stay Carparks, Ones A Stones Throw Away & The Other Is Barnoon.

Great sized house with plenty of room, big well equipped kitchen, attic room has amazing views over the rooftops of St Ives. Short uphill walk to town was very handy, parking nearby. House was lovely and clean. TV in living room is a smart TV which is a bonus. Would definitely recommend a stay.

We had a great family Christmas at 1 Molteno. It’s a lovely place, close to the shops, pubs and harbour. I’d highly recommend for a visit to St Ives. In the summer I imagine it would be good to eat outside in the garden.

A wonderful, spacious and conveniently located house that would be great for any family. Although spacious, it always felt homely throughout. Highly recommended.

This is our second stay at 1 Molteno Place and we loved it .
It is situated just a few minutes walk out of the hustle and bustle of the main town . Perfectly located for Porthmeor beach - ( just up and over the hill) where we walked our dog before 10am each morning ( dog ban 10-6) . A very short walk to the co op which sold everything we needed . St Ives , all it’s beaches, shops and cafes are within minutes of the house .
The house itself accommodates 7 comfortably and was clean , spacious , tastefully decorated with a homely feel too . Beds were super comfy. You’ll be woken early by birdsong but that feels special .
The garden is long and has cottage style planting , plus a view of the sea . We ate outside every night as the weather was gorgeous .
Aspect holidays were great to deal with and I would highly recommend this property .

Excellent location. Close to all shops, beaches and public transport. The house is very roomy and very well equipped and with a big garden was a plus with the dog. Three bathrooms with showers are grear for a big family and having a washing machine is a big plus also. Would happily stay here again.

We stayed for a week 22nd - 28th Oct. It is a lovely house. Very spacious for 4 small grandchildren, 3 adults and our dog. We wanted for nothing. The beds were very comfortable. The garden was a definite plus. We hope to return again.

I recently stayed at this property with my family. There was 7 of us plus a baby and a dog and because of the size of the property we never felt on top of each other. The house itself was immaculate with the kitchen being recently upgraded.
The property also has 3 bathrooms which also helped with everyone getting ready for a night out at the same time. Definitely a big plus!
Our favourite room was the cubby, and this area was cosy and allowed people some relaxing time away from the main living area.
We loved the property so much we will definitely be back again.

July/August 2022. Party of 6 covering 4 generations. House has comfortable bedrooms, ample living space both indoors and outdoors. Modern kitchen with all modcons. An abundance of bathrooms. We had a relaxing holiday and have already booked for next year.

Been to property on a few occasions, would be happy to book property again. In good location, near to local amenities and car parks. Nice outside space to sit in peace and quiet (apart from Seagull noise!) when the rest of St Ives is packed with day trippers.

Even though there’s no parking with the house, there are 2 car parks very nearby & you can buy a weekly ticket for £49

Just returned home and already booked for next year (says it all really). We were a little concerned by some reviews that mentioned cleanliness. However, the house was spotless from top to bottom, which was brilliant for a property that allows dogs. Location was great with just a gradual slope of about 100yards from the town. We parked on rugby club which was a lot steeper and about half a mile, but we already knew that when we booked. All photos on aspects were as we found the house. Excellent place to stay,thank you .

Great dog friendly property with lots of space for a large family and facilities for a baby. Great location close to the town and the middle car park. Have stayed at this property twice and would book it again.

Another lovely stay in this house, a perfect week meeting up with our family. Plenty of space to spread out and share special times together.

We had a fantastic Christmas break here as a family of 6 including a 1 year old plus our 2 dogs. Arrived to find a nicely decorated Christmas tree in the lounge which was a bonus as many places we've booked in the past haven't had one. Lovely large living area and massive, well stocked kitchen meant we had plenty of space and the dogs loved lying in front of the fire (we couldn't move them!). Bedrooms comfortable although a steep set of stairs to top level. All in all a lovely stay thank you.

Overall enjoyed our stay in spacious accommodation for St Ives. It is well equipped with more than ample crockery and cutlery. There is a slightly damp smell, but ventilation solves this. There is traffic noise but it didn't bother us. The cleanliness was not up to an acceptable standard, we would say it was only surface clean. Aspects did get someone back out quickly.

Excellent stay in St Ives. We have been coming to St Ives for many years and are always very happy with the properties booked through Aspects. It was the first time we have stayed at One Molteno Place, so good we have booked again for next year! Ideal with a dog, safe and secure garden space, decent size. We happily spent time in the garden during our stay. The house was also a very good size. Well equipped and comfortable. Can't wait to return!

Molteno place is a nice size house , the location is excellent with a good garden .
Unfortunately the house is very dirty there is dust everywhere it needs a deep clean especially with COVID-19 all the beds needs moving and vacuuming, downstairs floorboards needs cleaning. We didn’t take dog but there was black dog hair everywhere

We had a wonderful time at one molteno place .
The house was tastefully decorated , clean and very well equipped with good quality appliances.
Great location for the town , beaches and only a few minutes from the co op, which was very handy .
We ended up doing a fair bit of cooking as it was difficult to get in restaurants due to Covid closures and the town being super busy . The kitchen appliances were all good quality and clean and there was a good range of pots etc .
We loved that the house was large and spacious enough for us all to have room to chill. The garden was a peaceful haven with lots of flowers and trees and a view over to the sea .
We brought our dog and this house was perfect with plenty of downstairs space . A quick walk over to porthmeor each morning before 10 to enjoy the beach before it got busy and a stroll down to porthminster each evening for a run after 6 . The rest of the day spent walking around the coastal paths or through the town . It worked out better than we thought and we would definitely book again x
I noticed other reviewers mentioned the road being noisy . It was a bit but didn’t really bother us and it was the seagulls that woke us up each day , which I loved as it reminded me I was in beautiful St Ives ??

One Molteno place is a sizeable property. It has lots of different spaces for a good family holiday. It is well equipped.
It is situated on the way out of St.Ives but still only 10 minutes walk to the town and beaches.
The property is on a very busy road situated on a small major roundabout going out of St.Ives. It is quite noisy with traffic day and night.
Overall this is a good sized family property with spacious accommodation and within easy walking distance of all amenities.

A nice little cottage with lots of potential, however desperately in need of a deep clean and some updating on parts of the property. Due to this would not book again.

We had a wonderful time celebrating New Year in St Ives, a night to be remembered that’s for sure! The rest of the week was extremely restful and we were blessed with very mild, mainly dry weather.
The cottage is ideally located within the town, with only a 7 minute walk into the shops, the nearest beach, Porthmeor only a 10 minute walk away, up Hill.
Long term parking was a 10-15 minute walk away and uphill on returning to car! It is possible to park the car just down from the cottage and up on a wide bit of the pavement to unload and reload the car on arrival and departure.
The cottage is spacious with plenty of wardrobe and storage space in the bedrooms. The garden is a good size and great for our dog. Just found the seating in the lounge very uncomfortable and not big enough for a family of four

2nd time in this house and it is still a great place to stay in.

Lovely property, spacious and clean, great location in easy reach of all town facilities. Be prepared to climb fairly steep stairs to top bedroom, but views are worth it!

We did not feel that this house was up to standard. Very strong smell of damp everywhere. Especially inside the kitchen cupboards and the downstairs snug and lounge. Not a good or sanitary procedure for the disposal of rubbish. Bathrooms cannot be used at the same time as water can only run properly in one place at a time. We did not feel that this property was good value for money.

One Molteno Place is in a brilliant location to explore bustling St Ives. But once back in the spacious property you are in a lovely cottage which is really well equipped. We had a great week.
