Reviews

This charming chocolate box cottage has panoramic views of Coverack cove and beyond with a sheltered walled garden to enjoy the views at any time of year. The kitchen/diner has a gorgeous dining-table to enjoy a relaxed family meal or to play a game of cards and the sitting-room has an Everhot electric heater that keeps the cottage cosy.

The two bedrooms have just wonderful outlooks where you can lose hours admiring the view whilst contemplating what you should do that day, and the family bathroom can also be found on the first floor. The cottage has a very useful utility-room at the back of the property, along with a WC, the perfect place to leave wet boots or sandy towels after a day exploring Cornwall.

The terraced cottage has a pretty walled garden at the front of the property where you can enjoy a lazy lunch or perhaps a peaceful breakfast while watching the day awaken. It is such a special spot.

Mrs Hemming

We have stayed at Little Ship many times over rhe last decade and it is a lovely, comfy cottage with fabulous views that we will return to.

Mr Swainston

Little Ship is in a stunning location overlooking Coverack Bay. Despite being small, the village has good facilities. The beach this year was lovely, and the sea looked amazing. Well equipped cottage, and nice front garden to sit out in, when the weather behaves, which it did!

Ms Perrin

Little Ship is a little gem. We are repeat visitors and love that moment opening the front door and knowing this cosy home is ours for a week. The location is brilliant. A very quick stroll to the shop, harbour and pub. The views are wonderful. People stop to admire its Cornish charm. Being able to sit outside in the garden, watching sea activity is great fun. Comfy beds, cosy sitting room, good plumbing - I challenge anyone to have a bad time here.

Miss Hall

The Little Ship Cottage is delightful, perfectly placed, cosy and comfortable. We really didn’t want to leave as we felt so at home there! Definitely going to return ??

Mrs Waring Green

A great place to stay with plenty of resources in the kitchen. The new living room furniture is not so suitable or comfortable for slightly more mature guests.

Mr Beltram

Pretty cottage in a great location in the best village on the Lizard. Sunny garden with lovely views of the beach and harbour. In a couple of minutes you can be on the beach, or in the pub, the chippy or the excellent village shop, As an added bonus, a young seal seems to have taken up residence on the beach right outside.

mrs taylor

Lovely cottage with amazing views xIf light sleeper take earplugs and seagulls start early !! Cottage has everything you need

Mr Deverill

Cracking location and certainly perfect accommodation at the time of year, love to go back as soon as possible. Cannot fault this little area of the lizard.

Mr Swainston

Little Ship is a lovely cottage in a beautiful setting in the calm and peaceful village of Coverack. comfortable with a front garden that gets the sun most of the day (in summer...) Although parking opposite the cottage is not always possible, the 2 car parks at the entrance to the village are but a short and pleasant walk away.

Mrs Goodwin

Great little cottage with spectacular views of the cove. Perfect for a small family holiday in Coverack. Added bonus of a front garden to sit in and watch the world go by.

Mrs Waring Green

Having had wonderful holidays in Coverack for 40 years with my children and now grandchildren, we were slightly nervous about staying in a different property. We needn't have worried - from the minute we walked through the door we fell in love with Little Ship. From the surprise Cream Tea when we opened the fridge to the charming furnishings and comfortable sofas, beds etc. Everything was perfect and we will definitely be returning to a very special place and soaking up the wonderful view from the garden and all the rooms.

Mr Swainston

Excellent cottage in a beautiful village; Well equipped, comfy beds, and a lovely view! One of the nicest walks to a car park I've known!

Mr Windram

We loved our stay in The Little Ship. You just cannot beat having a garden in Coverack and we spent many a happy hour sitting in it, watching the sea. And then there are the window seats inside for those odd times of bad weather. Having two separate rooms downstairs was very useful when our daughter needed to revise, and the big kitchen table was fab for family dinners. Admittedly we have stayed in slightly more modernly presented cottages in Coverack, but due to the location and garden I have to say that The Little Ship is one of my favourites… the location and garden can’t be beaten.

Very good

Mrs Tullett

Coverack is a beautiful fishing village on the lizard peninsula, the cottage has stunning sea views from every room. At night the sound of the sea is so relaxing. Lovely friendly village, would recommend the fish and chips from the takeaway on the harbour.

Dr McGrath

Despite a great view this cottage is very tired and not at all comfortable. The Little Ship is dark and damp. Unfortunately the bath does not heat up and the shower facilitates are poor. The wifi does not work well and the lounge is a tad small for 4 and the door does not close to keep in the warmth of the fire. I cannot recommend to others which is a shame since Classic Cottages are a great company.

Dr Fraser

Currently we advise against renting this property. Classic Cottages has allowed it to deteriorate badly.

Mr Deverill

Stunning Views plenty of room, a home away from home. Enjoy

Mrs Wood

Wonderful retreat

Mrs Hodgson

Very pretty cottage in lovely location overlooking the bay in an attractive village. Well equipped and very quiet cottage. Lots of wonderful coastal walks on the doorstep and several places locally to eat excellent cream teas!

Mr Bennett

Lovely holiday cottage in a fantastic location and very soothing to hear the sea at night with the window open!

Miss Cresswell

Beautiful cottage in a peaceful location and fabulous view of the bay. Excellent facilities. Lovely walks from the cottage and nearby.

Mr Harrison

Excellent views, close to all amenities and very well equipped kitchen/useful utility. Also has a lovely wood burning fire. Downsides are very poor WiFi, television and poor living room layout. Baths were also cold even if you used the Emersion booster

Ms Austin

Little Ship Cottage is the perfect property in the perfect location! Beautifully furnished and with amazing views of the sea. Coverack is such a friendly village with everything you could need, and Roskilly's Farm is just along the road. We did not want to leave!

Ms Perrin

Little Ship is a charming, comfortable cottage in a perfect location that we were happy to call home for a week. I loved sitting in the window seat in the sitting room staring at the sea view. We enjoyed being there so much that we booked a return visit before our first stay had even ended!

Mr Williams

Excellent Cottage with sea views , and an excellent service from Classic Cottages.
