Congratulations! You have just found the most perfect family holiday home by the sea. Boasting incredible coastline and sea views, a large three-tiered enclosed garden, a fabulously stylish yet comfortable open plan interior and all capped off with a sandy beach within walking distance - what more could you want for that special south Devon holiday by the beach!
This beautiful property has been furnished to a high standard yet remains very welcoming, offering an open plan layout which enables you to enjoy the wonderful views from almost every room. However to really make the most of this fantastic spot, grab a good book and a glass of something tasty and step out onto the patio and lawn area to enjoy a relaxing day in the sun.
This gorgeous property is not only ideal in the summer, but also a rather special destination in the cooler months too. The beautiful wood-burner complements the cosy living-area, making snuggling up in front of a good film or enjoying a family game of cards a real treat, especially following a refreshing coastal walk.
Retiring to bed is a real treat too. In the main house you have five fabulous bedrooms, one king-size bedroom on the ground floor for those not too fond of stairs. On the first floor you have four more super inviting bedrooms, all with the most incredible sea views. The sixth bedroom is located in the adjoining annexe, which is accessed externally. This super cute annexe offers a double bed, incredible sea views, direct access to the patio area and all the amenities required to make this the perfect retreat for those wishing to find their own space, whilst enjoying all the fun and games of holidaying in such a large group.

Mr LAWTON
The sea views from the accomodation and garden, with Burgh Island and the beach in the foreground, are wonderful. Exceptional view, from the end bedroom, of the Burgh Island Hotel when it is illuminated at night. The large garden is enclosed and provided plenty of space for our two dogs to run around. Although we had 2 days of rain, the large kitchen/diner and lounge enabled everyone to make the most of having time to relax. When visiting the beach and Burgh Island, the younger members of the party had no problem with the hillside location but if you have mobility problems, then there is no need to worry, as there is a car park ( chargeable ) at the bottom of the road.
Mrs Grounds
Beautiful location and very well equipped cottage for our family group(6 adults and 3 small children). We’d happily stay again.
Mrs Barnes
Seaview is a wonderful property with spectacular views of Bigbury and Bantham beaches as well as Burgh Island. The house is fully equipped and was perfect for the 4 families sharing. The garden is wonderful and the children and dogs had great fun playing in it. There is a Nisa local in neighbouring beach area Challaborough, this is a nice walk over the hill. We booked 2x Tesco deliveries that helped with keeping food and drink topped up for the week so well worth booking your slots before you arrive. The property is towards the top of the hill so it is quite a steep climb to and from the beach, not a problem if you are able but older relatives did struggle somewhat so you’ll need to drive down to the beach. We would definitely return to Seaview!

We were three generations and two dogs staying at Seaview and had a fantastic holiday. The main feature of this house is the view, which is amazing. The house is very spaced out, with a huge kitchen, dining and lounge area, which gave everyone plenty of room to chill. There are several lovely walks around Bigbury on sea although the hills can be challenging at times. We had surf lessons with Discovery surf school - great fun and highly recommended. Despite the weather, this was one of our favourite holidays and we would return to Seaview.
