The Barton
A stylish, boutique cottage which is the perfect romantic getaway, close to the tranquil shores of Restronguet Creek. This little hideaway is ideal for just the two of you, and of course your little pooch.
Found via pretty lanes but only a mile from the main road this tranquil spot is great for exploring or you can just relax and enjoy your abode. Up the old granite steps to the front door, you are greeted by a restful space which exudes calmness. The open plan living area has exposed beams and a vaulted ceiling to give a superb sense of space to the property. The Shaker-style kitchen has everything you might need, including a Nespresso coffee pod machine (remember to bring your own pods) so you can enjoy your morning coffee snuggled into the comfy sofa, making plans for your day.
There is a stylish table for two for those romantic meals, or long lazy breakfasts. After a day out exploring the coast paths or pretty towns nearby, retreat to the large sofa and snuggle your feet into the sheepskin in front of the electric wood-burner, which creates a cosy atmosphere at The Barton. There is of course a TV so you can binge on your favourite box set guilt-free.
This cottage is all open plan and the bedroom is tucked away, separated from the living space, with a luxurious king-size bed and crisp, white linens for a peaceful night's slumber. The fabulous bathroom leads off the bedroom with a corner shower and an attractive free-standing slipper bath - big enough for two.
The courtyard is accessed through the patio doors in the bedroom and is a real sun-trap and an oasis surrounded by beautiful planting. There is a bistro table and chairs if you fancy something al fresco and if you want to relax in comfort with a sundowner there is a rattan table and armchairs too - the owner has thought of everything to ensure you can enjoy your stay in comfort. The enclosed patio is also perfect for dogs.
Next door is a beautiful thatched cottage which the owner lives in, however the owner is often away and every effort has been made to ensure privacy for your stay, with only the drive being shared.
Babies in arms under six months old are accepted.

The Barton is a beautiful cottage . Everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The location is good not far from dog friendly beaches. Also plenty of walks on your doorstep. The weather was great and we made use of the outside space with comfortable garden furniture. We would return and if the weather not so good The Barton is a very cosy place to be so going in Spring or Autumn would still be a very pleasant holiday. It’s a real Gem . Mrs J Taylor

We had a lovely stay at the property which was exceptional and even better than the photos portrayed. Emma is a great host and made us feel very welcomed and certainly excelled in the attention to details at the Barton. Would certainly stay again. We liked the location as it was in a quiet area and had easy access to lots of our favourite places. Thanks Emma!

My wife and I had a wonderful three day stay for a birthday celebration. We were very pleasantly surprised how immaculate and beautifully appointed The Barton was, even better than the photos! Every comfort was thought through and we wish we had booked for a longer stay. We would definitely recommend to family and friends and hope to return again for another stay.

A beautiful, welcoming cottage. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Emma was great, and we enjoyed our chats.

Amazing stay. Great cottage. Everything was perfect! Clean, modern feel. Added benefits were free standing bath, enclosed garden & under floor heating. Garden is a little sun trap in the afternoons into evening. Location was perfect for getting around the whole of Cornwall during my stay. All round perfect break from start to finish & did not want to leave.
Mr Keen
Superb location for central Cornwall on a quiet country road. Well situated with some excellent pubs within a few minutes drive or indeed coastal walks. Extremely well fitted out cottage and warm welcome from owner including a very delicious cream tea. Very comfortable bed and certainly this helped for a good nights sleep! In making these comments my only fear is that the cottage will be booked up, so making a planned return visit difficult!

Beautiful, peaceful location and only minutes away from Loe Beach - very small but, good beach cafe.
