Reviews

Perfectly positioned overlooking the picturesque harbour of St Mawes, Quayside is a beautifully furnished holiday cottage, ideal for a romantic escape or small family holiday.

From the moment you arrive here you will be charmed, not only by the fabulous location but also the beautiful interiors where tradition marries style in perfect harmony.

The open plan living space is perfect for all seasons, from opening the front stable-door to let in the fresh sea breeze in summer, to snuggling up in front of the wood-burner in cooler months. Whitewashed walls and seaside shades create a light and welcoming space complemented by reclaimed wooden floors (ideal if you have your four-legged friend with you). To the rear, the kitchen and dining area is light and bright, cleverly crafted with everything you'll need including the all-important dishwasher and washing machine/drier. Whilst there is no rear outside space at Quayside, you can open the top stable-door at the back if you wish to let in the fresh air, and with walks, beaches and the harbour all close by there are plenty of options when it comes to spending relaxing time outdoors.

As is typical for characterful Cornish cottages, the staircase is turning and steep, and leads to the two pretty bedrooms and family shower-room. The main double bedroom is found to the front of the cottage, furnished in relaxing neutral shades with sash windows overlooking the bay. From dawn until dusk this ever-changing view will enchant! The single bedroom to the rear of the cottage has its own vanity unit basin and is great for either a child or adult. The shower-room is ideal after a busy day exploring.
