Location great to get to Penzance, St Ives, Marazion. Central to these locations.
Big bathroom and large comfortable bedroom with a comfy bed. We enjoyed our week here.

This was our second time at Valley View it’s in a lovely location very peaceful and close enough to visit lots of places. Valley view is very clean and has everything you need would definitely recommend it’s our favourite place to stay when we visit St Ives

Valley View is very comfortable, and we really enjoyed our stay. We particularly liked the location - the views were wonderful, and it was so peaceful. We especially enjoyed just sitting on the patio listening to the birds and looking at the view. It's very convenient for most other parts of West Cornwall, particularly the coasts and the Park and Ride at St Erth's, and we enjoyed exploring the countryside and smaller villages too.

Our third time staying at Valley View. We love the location and the cottage is really comfortable and just the right size for two and our Labrador.
We really appreciated the earlier check in and the welcome pack.
It’s great to have tea and coffee provided.
The owners are very friendly and let us know we didn’t have to rush to check out as the property was not booked for the following week.
Added bonus in that we had glorious weather!
We will be back again next year.

A wonderful relaxing break,perfect location and excellent property, cant wait to return

Valley View is a perfect property for a relaxing break. Everything needed for a self-catering break is provided. Owners on site if needed but do not intrude.
Roads to access are narrow but this did not cause any problems to us.
Would certainly return if wanting to stay in this area in the future.

Our stay at Valley View was wonderful. The location was perfect for day trips to both coasts and local attractions. The size was perfect for my husband, dog and I for a week and it really became a home away from home. So much so that we were sad to leave! We bumped into the owners upon arrival who seemed lovely but apart from that, they gave us privacy. I especially loved looking up at night and seeing more stars in the sky than I’d ever seen before.. the beauty of rural living! Thank you so much.

We had a lovely stay at Valley View it was close to lots of places but always nice to come back to a lovely quiet cottage. The cottage was very clean and had everything you needed. We will definitely book this cottage again have booked with Aspect a couple of times now and found them very helpful and properties always cleaned to a high standard.

We had a great week at Valley View with our dog who loved exercising in the dog field from which there are wonderful views of the sea and Michael’s Mount.
The accommodation is excellent with friendly and helpful owners who live next door.
We immediately felt very much at home, the cottage is well equipped, warm and comfortable.
Penzance, Lands End and St Ives are within easy travelling distance and we enjoyed visiting several beautiful gardens and cliff top walks. All in all we enjoyed a very special week.

For people taking their dogs on holiday this is the perfect ‘get away’. The location is wonderful, rural countryside, quiet but close to Penzance and St Ives. The accommodation is perfect for a couple and their dogs. All on one level, countryside walks, exercise field.
Can’t praise this enough. Perfect.

Fabulous stay in this wonderful cottage, ideally situated, and has everything you need for a great holiday in Cornwall.

We have just come back from a relaxing stay at Valley View. We loved the treats which we found on our arrival and there were also treats for our two dogs which was a lovely touch. The accommodation was very clean and well equipped and is an ideal base to explore. The owners were really friendly and informative and hopefully we will return in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week’s stay at Valley View, booked to celebrate my husband’s 80th birthday on 13th August with family who were staying in St. Ives.
The cottage enjoys a picturesque and peaceful location away from the hustle & bustle of Penzance and St.Ives, yet close enough to be able to easily shop for necessities, and within easy driving distance of the beautiful resorts and beaches in this part of Cornwall.
Valley View is well equipped, spacious and spotlessly clean, with the advantage of a large field close at hand to exercise any 4-legged guest in safety.
The owners/hosts live in an adjoining property and are close at hand to deal with any requests, but they are in no way intrusive.
We would have no hesitation in booking this property for future holidays.

Great cottage for a week in Cornwall close to St Ives and Penzance. Just right for the two of us and our dog. The owners were lovely and very helpful with advice on where to go. Very nice welcome pack with beer, wine, biscuits and cake. A large enclosed field was also available for exercising the dog off lead which he loved.

If you are requiring a country quiet escape Valley View is the place

We loved this property and would definitely stay here again. It had everything we needed, plus extras, such as Netflix and a radio to connect your own music.
Dan & Michaela who are owners live next door and do everything they can to ensure you have a good stay. We had problems with our phones connecting to wifi and they very kindly leant us a tablet to use to book tickets for days out and plan trips.
The location is fab for getting around without too much travelling and such a peaceful area.
We highly recommend this property.

Valley view we found very cosy well equipped and comfortable. In addition the owners were very helpful with local knowledge. The use of nearby field with excellent coastal views was very convenient and safe for our four legged friends plus adjacent bridleway and footpath. Would have no hesitation in recommending valley view and returning again.

The property was beautifully presented to a high standard and very clean. Perfect for a couple. Rural location but ideally situated to drive to all the attractions and walking the South West Cornwall coastal path. We could walk to the local pub The White Hart along St Michael's Way, 20 minutes. Parking for 1 vehicle. Welcome pack and a few essentials to get you started. Tesco and Sai sburys 10 min drive. Owner on site, very friendly. Highly recommended.
Holiday - recommend St Michael's Mount, Porthcurno museum, Geevor Tin Mine, Lost Gardens of Heligan. Eden Project way too expensive for what it was £75 for a couple. Walked many miles of the coastal path, taking in St Ives, Carbis. Porthleven, Kynance, Lizard Point, Lands End, Gunwalloe, Church Cove, Porthkidney, Mousehole. Be warned car parking expensive - consider getting a National Trust Membership.

Loved our break away in Cornwall. Valley view was in a gorgeous location, picturesque, and very dog friendly.
Loved the little touches left for us on arrival, dog biccies and bowls, and human treats too. Also dog friendly suggestions for pubs, and use of field nearby, plus only a 10 minute drive from St Ives.
Anything you could think of that you may need had been provided at Valley View. Only downside was lack of Internet and signal though I believe this isn't normally an issue!

Another lovely stay at Valley View. We visited back in 2019 and this time visited with our pup. He loved the location and walks up the lane. Dan and Michaela were lovely and helpful. Easy check in, everything as expected. We’ll likely be back again.

We had a wonderful two week holiday at Valley View; it was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Dan and Michaela had left us many local goodies, which were much appreciated (including some treats for our pup); this meant we did not have to immediately go shopping. Dan recommended places we might like to visit and leant us maps, etc., he was around if we needed him but did not intrude at all. We found Valley View to be in an excellent, central location to get to most places in Cornwall and would highly recommend it - we are looking forward to staying there again soon.

Lovely, well-appointed cottage. Warm and comfortable. It was an excellent facility to have access to a large enclosed field to exercise our two little dogs. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The location was very central and convenient for outings to places in all directions. Our only slight negative was the single track road, which we felt wasn't safe to walk our dogs to any local amenity. Would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a very peaceful retreat right in the countryside with easy access to both coasts and all towns.

A big part of our holiday is the accommodation and this time we got everything we were expecting and hoping for. We couldn't have asked for more! We had a couple of questions during our stay and needed to ring the Aspect Holidays Office - they were friendly and efficient.

Our hosts lived just next door to our accommodation and we found them to be friendly, informative and helpful suggesting things to do and places to go. We can totally recommend Aspect Holidays and Valley View.

A lovely cottage situated in the countryside but within easy access to Penzance and not far from St Ives. It was clean and tidy and spacious. We had a lovely week at Valley View and recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Ideal cottage for a couple to relax in. Situated away from the hustle and bustle of St Ives. Close by lots of must see sights of the west of Cornwall such as St Michael’s Mount, Minack Theatre, Trengwithan House and Loe Bank. We spent a lovely day on the Isles of Scilly which we accessed from the ferry from Penzance.

Very nice and quiet easy place to start some nice country side walks from and nice for dogs

Wonderful property in a beautiful location. Spotlessly clean & we were made to feel very welcome by Dan the owner. The wine, bread, Cornish cheese, butter & jam was a lovely touch. The terrace area was perfect for relaxing on after days out exploring the area. Would recommend this gorgeous barn conversion to anyone looking for an idyllic retreat in Cornwall

Lovely views we will be back

We have had a wonderful holiday at Valley View - cottage beautifully furnished and immaculate! Everyone was very welcoming, especially Biscuit the dog and his owner family who live nearby! Had lots of adventures exploring the stunning coast and surrounding area.
We saw a wealth of fascinating wild life that is unique to the area e.g. choughs, a myriad of native wild flowers and also enjoyed the historical sites and the Pen Lee Museum and Gallery. A very central location as we visited Mawnan Porth (excellent beach for families and particularly dogs), Penzance, Cot Valley, Geevor Mine, Sennen Cove, St Just (particularly the Cook Book!) and many more local places.
The staff of Aspects were very thoughtful and most helpful as were the hosts of our cottage.

We had a great time and enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage was cosy, clean and comfortable. Our hosts Dan and Michaela gave us a very warm welcome and provided local food for our first days! The little terrace was great to enjoy the morning sun. The venue is quiet located, only some minutes drive to Penzance. I really can recommend the Cottage for a little escape from the daily hazels!

Fantastic place, lovely welcome from our hosts and a doggy treat box was a very nice touch, hosts are full of information if & when required, as in our case parking at St Ives Rugby Club all day £6 and short bus ride to St Ives town centre.... will be back for sure :)

A lovely little space tucked away up a quiet lane but only minutes from the sea. The perfect base for exploring the whole of South/West Cornwall. Very good value for money and perfect for a couple. Would 100% return.

We loved Valley View from the moment we arrived, it was very clean and tidy and felt more like a home than a holiday cottage. For us it was in just the right location for both West Penwith and the Lizard. The bonus was the wonderful field for the dogs which was very welcome and the views great. We will certainly return, hopefully this year.

Large field available for exercising the dogs is a real bonus (from which there are views towards Mounts Bay & St Michael's Mount).
Would recommend to anyone wanting quiet & tranquility.

Valley View is a really nice, friendly, comfortable and quiet place to stay, and a very good starting point for the exploration of western Cornwall.

Would recommend this spotless modern cottage for couple or small families wanting a peaceful base to explore west Cornwall. A really enjoyable stay. There were lots of nice touches around the property and the owners had thought of everything - well-equipped kitchen, plenty of crockery, lots of towels and enough storage space. Highly recommended.

Cosy

This cottage was ideal for us- out of the way of the busy towns, nice and peaceful. Just right for us and our baby.
Very clean and the tea, coffee, milk and biscuits were a very nice touch.
We would definitely like to return next year!

Pretty cottage and a great location for walks

Perfect little place in the countryside but not to far from beautiful places to visit. St. Michaels Mount was stunning.

Valley View is a cosy, very well equipped and clean little cottage with owners attached. It is ideal for one dog and has wooden floors with dog walking nearby. It is quite isolated and is ideal if you want peace and quiet. Parking is very handy right next door in a courtyard area that is shared with other occupants in the surrounding 3 properties. Once on the main road it is easy to access St Ives, Penzance etc. No fenced garden for dog so it can get into the lane but due to its remote nature there is little traffic. It was just a little small for our taste.
