Good or bad, we publish all the reviews left by the guests who have stayed at this property.

Mrs Dowdeswell

1Albany Terrace is the perfect place to stay. Very well appointed, very comfortable beds, everything you need is there. Ideal to be able to park right outside, beautiful views, and easy to walk into St Ives beaches and shops. Highly recommend a stay at 1 Albany Terrace.

Mrs Powell

Great house, three stories, kitchen fitted out really well with everything you could possibly need, enclosed garden patio from kitchen and utility area then a gate up steps to nice garden area. Car park space is great big enough for a 4x4.

Mrs Hamilton

We had a wonderful weeks stay 8 of us plus 2 dogs
Plenty of room for everyone. The house had everything we needed. As a large family the utility room with washing machine and dryer came in so handy. The sea views are beautiful.
Walking distance to everything.
We are already booking again for next year.

Mrs Titley

Beautiful house and location, however issues encountered with damp/mould in back bedroom and noises from the loft space above

Miss Allen

We loved our stay at Albany House. We took advantage of the off season low occupancy discount and loved having the bigger property to enjoy between the two of us and our dogs. It's worth being slightly out of the town centre to get the extra space. The house had everything we needed and more. We would definitely recommend.

Mr Arlow

We have a Ford Focus and managed to park it ok at the rear of the property. Drive in forwards on arrival. On departure reverse out to the end of the lane, carefully turn your car to face forward then drive out as normal.
It’s a good job there was a hoover in the property. We had to clean the floors on arrival. Didn’t bother reporting, was quicker to sort ourselves.
8 of us enjoyed a great week, in this big well equipped house. Which sits in an ideal location to explore.

Mrs Charman

Lovely big house with good facilities. Great kitchen/dining room for getting together with friends and/or family. Top floor bedroom has steep stairs but fine if you have no mobility issues. The car parking is under a tree at the front of the property and our car was completely covered in bird poo by the end of the week.
Otherwise loved staying here and have booked again for next year.

Mr Cummings

Great property for a large family...and the dog ! Plenty of space both indoors and outdoors. Bit of a trek uphill from the town (when compared to other Aspect properties we have stayed in) but the house is worth the extra walk. Really enjoyed our time here and would definitely re-visit.

Ms Bailey

We stayed at Albany House for 1 week as a family of 7 for our summer holidays last week.

The house is beautiful and has lots of lovely features and is very spacious.

Unfortunately the cleanliness of the house was not great and not what we would expect from a holiday home.
The kitchen was dirty in places, the cutlery drawer, the units, the oven and oven trays, microwave etc were all grimey. We had to put all the cups etdc in dishwasher before we used them as were all dirty.
The butter dish had butter still in it covered in green mould.
Coffee grinds still in the coffee machine from previous use not cleaned out.
The floors had not been cleaned at all, there was dust everywhere and clumps of dog hair on the floors.
Upstairs was the same and had not been hoovered or floors cleaned.

The shower tiling grout was brown. We had to spray it with bleach spray to clean it. The main bathroom had urine stains on the floor. and the other bathroom floors were dirty.

We do not blame the owners or even Aspects but the cleaning company need to be spoken with as they are clearly not doing their jobs properly or to a good standard.

We did send photos to Aspects and received a call back from them on the Monday (arrived saturday and sent email saturday) they did offer to send cleaners however we had cleaned the whole house ourselves by then as could not live in it like it was.

We still had a wonderful holiday in St Ives overall.

Mrs Vickers

The house is beautiful with a lovely garden, parking and views. We hat stayed there before look forward to going back again.

However the house cleaners need to up their game. Unhovered carpets and sand and hair in the en-suite shower. Really not good enough

Dirty linen left in hall when we arrived until mid evening

Mr Rainbow

Beautiful very clean house, equipped very generously, best location and the garden is amazing. It is our second time in this house and we are about to book it again. Thanks Aspects for the heads-up about the closure of M30, very professionally.

Miss Rees

We have just returned home from a week long break at Albany House and had such a relaxing break. The house has everything you could think of, we especially liked the utility facilities (washer, drier, heated boot drier, indoor clothes hanger) which came in so handy to dry our clothes (and the dogs!) after some quite rainy weather. The garden is also a great addition to the property which isn’t really mentioned in the description, it’s fully enclosed and links direct from the kitchen or utility, through the courtyard and up the stairs. Finally the location is superb, minutes walk from the beach which had a snack bar and restaurant and a 6min walk into St Ives centre. Thank you for a lovely stay

Mrs Taylor

Large house perched above Porthminster Beach with lovely views from front windows. Plenty of room for large group/family. Parking outside for one car and at the back for another which has very tight access. Super well equipped kitchen, it's as though the family has just moved out and left everything you could possibly need. Cosy TV room, lots of family boxed games to use. Excellent showers with large towels. Lovely large outside space at the back and front to play in or just sit and chill.

Mrs Carney

Our family had a wonderful time during our stay at Albany Terrace over Christmas.

The house was excellently equipped, on particular the kitchen equipment to prepare and serve our Christmas dinner.

The walk into St Ives took only 10 minutes, with no steps, which was good as we had a pram for the baby.

The house accommodated our party of 7 and a baby with ease, although the parking at the rear of the house was tricky, as
Mentioned in previous reviews,we managed to park 2 cars at the rear. We took advice from the kind neighbour and Aspects instruction to only reverse out of the space down the narrow lane, and this worked well.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property for a family or large group and would love to return one day.

Mrs Cooper

Fabulous holiday property, very well equipped with all you need. Good sea views and tastefully decorated. Great for families, lots of space to be had. Just wonderful

Mrs Palmer

Excellent house within easy walking and beaches of St Ives, very comfortable have stayed a number of times and expect to return. Rear parking... You MUST drive in forwards with a little to and fro at the corner from the side lane. On the way out reverse along the back to the side lane then 3 point turn to drive forwards down side lane. The side lane is the narrow one.. Sensors beeped all the way down in my daughters Skoda Karoq with about 6 inches to spare each side, easily achievable if you take care.

Mrs Charlton

fantastically warm and comfy period house in a lovely area of St Ives and we would definately give the property top marks in fact we have already booked again for next year. Cannot recommend the property highly enough......

Mr Page

A fabulous property, perfectly located for a busy family or group. Easy walking distance into St Ives town to restaurants, bars, or water activities. A beautiful beach just a short walk.
The property itself was amazing, all the amenities and some.
The extra touches of coffee, tea, shortbread, and milk in the fridge made our very long car journey melt away.
Cornwall at its best.

Mrs Vickers

This is a beautiful family house. Lovely bedrooms, lounge and communal kitchen/dining/family room.

The gardens, especially the terraced back garden, are lovely and a nice space for the children to escape into.

I hope myself and my family are able to rebook next year.

Mr Spicer

Great property. .Access to property very tricky due to location with main road.

Mrs Clyne

Such a spacious house plenty of everything inside and out of property ,can’t fault it for anything, will definitely be returning, I wish I could bring the house home with me

Ms Masters

100% hire this house. Beautiful, well kept, comfortable, perfect location. Without a doubt we will hire again. Thank you aspects for our box of treats my parents loved it.

Mrs Shires

Great large family house
With stunning views
And the table tennis is a great addition.

Mr Taylor

A victorian house with all the mod cons, the garden at the rear with its 3 tier layout was completely unexpected. Information we were given about a parking space round the back of property for a small car was spot on, my daughter has a Skoda Fabia and it was a close call getting the car out. Overall a great experience, great location, lovely house in a great resort.

Mrs Carter

Albany House is a beautiful property with great equipment in the kitchen, lots of space and lovely views. The garden is lovely - enclosed for dogs and a great BBQ. Utility room, with washing machine and tumble dryer, really handy for drying wet suits and towels etc.

The only downsides are that parking is really only for one car unless you have a very small second car and are an extremely competent driver (in small spaces!), road noise can be quite noisy for the front bedroom at times and top bedroom is a little stuffy.

Overall a lovely place to stay, easy walk into St Ives but nice not to be in a crowded area so it felt a very peaceful and comfortable place to stay. We stayed as a group of 6 people, but would have happily been there as a group of 8.

Mrs Lyon

Loved Albany once again & have booked again for the autumn

Mr Gullifer

This is an excellent house in a great location. It is exremely comfortable and spacious. It offers all the facilities and equipment that you would expect if you were in your own home. Strongly recommended.

Mrs Tamplin

Albany house in the main part is a lovely bright breezy and convenient location with a beautiful garden.

Back garden and stairs with lack of stair gates not ideal if you have young children.

Definitely seems a stretch to say you can get two cars around the back for parking, and it is extreme tricky to reverse your car down this back space when you want to go out, but St Ives is very busy for parking so I guess it’s useful to the parking spaces nonetheless.

In all it’s a beautiful house in a lovely quiet and yet convenient location for St Ives. We would consider booking again.

Mrs Greenbeck

We had a super family holiday at Albany House ( our third visit).Lots of space, light and airy, thoughtfully and very well kitted out. Warm and cosy too, when necessary. Wonderful views from the front of the house.

Mr Clayton

A lovely house (the view from the front bedroom is beautiful) in a really great location. We've stayed twice and will be back!

Mrs Newby

Excellent position, quiet location and easy walk to Porthminster Beach.
Light, airy rooms. Comfortable property.

Mrs Bayless

A beautiful house, with lovely views and a great location. A great feeling of light and space.
We had a wonderful time, thank you.

Mr Barrett-Danes

This is a lovely big house with a fabulously spacious (and very well equipped) kitchen/family room at the front, with views over the bay. It works really well for a larger family, with three bathrooms (only one shower indoors but there's an outdoor shower for after the beach, with hot water) and a big utility with washer and drier. It's a bit further out of town than other places we've stayed in St Ives, but only a 10-minute walk and easy access to Porthminster beach, and you can walk round to the harbour on the sand when the tide is out. A lovely house, and we'll definitely book again.

Miss Walker

Spent a lovely week at Albany house
It has everything you need
We all enjoyed it

Mr Atkins

Lovely, spacious and comfortable property in an excellent location.

Mrs Breeze

A really well equipped and lovely house situated in a fantastic location. Not for anyone with mobility issues though!

Mrs Newlove

Albany Terrace is a great property in an ideal position to explore st Ives .The furnishings are comfortable and it was impeccably clean.
The views are amazing I wouldn't hesitate to come back and am already considering returning next year.

Mrs Green

The cottage has a fabulous warm and welcoming feel as you walk through the door. The views from the front windows are so captivating and relaxing it is hard to tear yourself away from the cottage to explore St Ives. The kitchen is so well equipped which makes it a pleasure to cook, and then dining looking out at the beautiful sea views is what a holiday is all about.

Mrs Palmer

Such beautiful views of the bay, dog friendly, easy access to town and beach, parking! What more do you need.. a wrench to come home.

Mr Nixon

Very spacious and comfortable house. Parking spaces a real bonus for St Ives. Will certainly book again. Thanks to Aspects who managed the booking brilliantly.

Mr Blackmore

No1 Albany Tce is a lovely house set in peaceful location with views over porthminster beach. The house is very well equipped to cater for your needs. An easy downhill stroll takes you to the town centre either by road or via porthminster beach.
With car parking for up to three cars nice gardens and pet friendly too Albany House is a lovely place to take your break

Mrs Boulton

Very comfortable, clean, well equipped house with the added bonus of parking. One of the nicest stays we have had in St Ives and we have been many, many times.

Mr Beamer

Lovely property. Would definitely book again.

Mrs Astill

As advertised in the video. Simply wonderful!

Mrs Ingram

A fantastic view from the property. Comfy sofas and lots of space. Really well-equipped kitchen too. Fantastic location

Mrs Greenbeck

Albany House is full of light and spacious so ideal for a group of friends and family.
The views are great from the house and garden too. The garden , front and rear, are really lovely and give a feeling of space. We would like to visit again. The owners thoughtfully kitted it out .

Mr Clayton

The house is really spacious and the kitchen/dining room is the perfect place for everyone to hang out. If you are lucky with the weather as we were the garden is an excellent bonus, a beautiful sun trap with the added benefit of a table tennis table (very popular with our children). The view in the morning from the front of the house is something else. We loved everything about this house.

Mrs Jones

Albany House is a wonderful property, of large proportions with light flooding through it. There are many lovely touches to make the property feel like a home-from-home. The views of the sea are uplifting as are the sounds of the seagulls. We booked through Aspects Holidays, who were friendly and efficient from start to finish. Albany House is an ideal base for a holiday in St Ives. The size of the property, sea views and ease of access to beaches and town make it good value for money. An added benefit is the car parking, especially the large space at the bottom of the garden at the front. We hope to visit again soon!

Mr Summers

Spacious and a great choice for a large family group or for two families to share; equally excellent for groups of friends. Perhaps not so good however if these groups had babies in push-chairs/prams or elderly/disabled members because of location and access.

Mrs Saunders

I will complete a review on the property separately

Mrs Kiely

a beautiful and well equipped house.

Mrs Fenton

We would definitely come back

Ms Finney

Albany House is the perfect base for a family holiday in St Ives. Lots of large, tastefully furnished and decorated rooms means theres plenty of space for everyone. The Children loved the outside shower and all have stated they want to come back next year.

Mrs Bowler

Lovely house but could be even better with a few improvements to heating, bedding and hot water.
