1 Porthminster Court

Great location. Why a standard coffee m/c has not been supplied i have no idea. Pods are not readily available to buy locally, and no pods were left to get us started .The work going on in the adjacent property is not noisy and finishes by 4pm, However the road was blocked nearly every day, sometimes for up to an hour.by vans and machinery Parking is good.

Great value for money and well equipped property with heated drying clothes wrack. Ideal for towels/ wetsuits
Very comfortable beds.
Coffee machine- but unable to locate and pods for this locally.
Ideal location if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre but it’s a bit of a walk round the headland with beach equipment and small children.

We stayed at 1 Porthminster Court for a week with a dog and a toddler. The apartment was lovely with an amazing terrace and sea view. The open plan space worked really well for us and felt like a home from home. The peaceful location was great with a 10-15 minute walk each way to St Ives/Carbis Bay although the walk was quite steep in places. Communication with Aspects was fantastic and we will definitely book with them again. Thanks for a great stay!

1 PorthmInster Court was a great place to stay if you want to stay just outside St. Ives. It is a 10 minutes walk to Porthminster beach and 15 minutes to Carbis Bay beach and St. Ives town. Both walks are lovely but do have some gradients.
The view from the window is gorgeous.
A very pleasant place to stay.

A holiday home with an amazing view. Had a lovely and relaxing holiday in a ‘home from home’ accommodation. Great to have a parking space and easy access to the Coastal Path, although it was naturally very muddy during our January stay and the path down to it not safe. Everything you need in the kitchen was provided and the shower is excellent. Definately a place we wish to visit and stay in again. Thank you so much.

Lovely location with a great view both day and night. Easy access to the coastpath for walking into St Ives or Carbis Bay, our small dog really enjoyed the freedom. Convenient parking space beside the property makes everything easy and convenient. Everything we needed for a comfortable enjoyable stay.

This property was lovely. It has a great view, nice and light with a well equipped kitchen. Lovely clean property with a separate bath and shower also. It was about a 20 minute walk into the town. The walk back is up a decent hill though so beware of this if you have any health issues.

The only negative I can give for this property is that they seemed to be a damp problem. All of our clothes were damp and so was the bedding which wasn't ideal. There is an electric air dryer you can use, but all of our clothes were damp so we would have needed to be in the property rotating clothes to make the most of this and we wanted to be out and about. There is also mould in the wardrobe in the one bedroom and round some other areas. This would not stop us returning, but just to mention it.

Beautiful apartment with the most amazing view. Ideally placed to walk into st Ives which is about 15 mins. Very peaceful and relaxing. Apartment has everything you need including an air fryer! Tv is quite small but who needs tv when you have that view!!! Really clean and the shower in the bathroom is fab.

We really enjoyed our first stay at 1 Porthminster Court. The view is amazing and the location ideal for walking into St Ives or Carbis Bay. The property has been thoughtfully decorated and kitted out. We did experience an issue with the electrics tripping during our stay which left us temporarily without working plug sockets. However, the service from the Aspects team was excellent (even though it was after 7.30pm when we called them). Their maintenance guy was at the property within 15 minutes of our call to help us and the emergency electrician attended within a couple of hours and resolved the issue.

An excellently maintained and comfortable apartment. The views of the bay are fantastic and Porthminster Beach is only a 10min walk away. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and will definitely return next year. It was really great to be able to walk into St Ives yet stay outside of the hubble and bubble of this very busy seaside town in August!!

Lovely apartment with breathtaking views.

We had a really memorable week staying at Portminster Court. The owners have clearly put alot of thought in to making this a beautiful holiday let which we will hopefully return to. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bathroom is lovely. The location for us was perfect with a 20 minute walk into St Ives town (the first beach is only ten minutes away) which is a wonderful place to explore with interesting shops, pubs, cafes and bars and of course The Tate gallery. It was a similar time to walk to the beautiful Carbis Bay Beach. The sea view from the lounge and balcony are to die for. We spent many an hour looking across the bay to Godrevy and the surrounding beaches. We enjoyed watching the local Goldfinches, spotting seals in the sea and following the many cliff top footpaths. There are so many beautiful places a short drive away to explore, a week was not long enough!

A wonderful stay at Porthminster Court. Just what we were looking for. Excellent location, walking distance to St Ives and Carbis Bay. The apartment was very homely and welcoming. Excellent Views. Very quiet. Lovely and clean. Couldn't fault a thing and would definitely return! Missing the views already.

Parking space with approx 20 steps up to access the property.
Only 10 minutes walk to Porthminster beach & onto St.Ives & Carbis Bay was 10 mins via costal path. Branch line train passes down in front of property, but it wasn’t a problem.
Supermarket nearby.
Already booked for next year.
Can’t wait to return.

We enjoyed our stay at Portminster Court. It was peaceful, with lovely sea views with a 10 minute walk to the best beach in St Ives and direct access to the coastal path.

Location absolutely amazing. When we stayed in July, it was so quiet, that we felt relaxed from day one of our holidays. Views fantastic.

We had an fantastic holiday in St ives booked through aspect holidays. The service we recieved was excellent. The directions provided by aspect holidays to get to the property were spot on. The view from 1 porthminster was breath taking with sea views. The apartment was clean, spacious and well equipped. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and milk in the fridge, biscuits and coffee machine. The location of 1 porthminster is excellent in a quiet and peaceful location but in easy reach and walking distance of carbis bay and also st ives. We will be using aspect holidays again.

A lovely apartment in a fantastic location, such a beautiful view and in walking distance to St Ives Town and Porthminster beach which was great.

A short walk from town this is a great property to relax away from the hustle and bustle of St Ives. On inclement days simply pour yourself a glass of wine and watch the weather roll along the coast or the waves crashing on Godrevy from the comfort of the lounge. Just a stones throw from the coastal path where we could see seals just bobbing around in the coves below. This was a great find and would highly recommend.

The apartment was clean, comfortable & warm and the beds were comfy.

Kitchen could do with a few more utensils and there is no hairdryer, however we would love to stay again and would recommend this apartment as a great place to stay.

We liked the location and the light and bright sitting room with fantastic views. A few more finishing touches and improvements to the bedrooms, sitting room layout and kitchen provision would have made for a more comfortable and luxurious stay.

Lovely stay and we would consider staying in this property again.
