I would describe Pink Door as somewhere I felt I had been invited, rather than somewhere I had booked - my family had a fab break and have returned home rested and happy, having explored the Pembrokeshire coast with Pink Door as our excellent base. The house is simply lovely, well furnished and excellently equipped, it had everything we could want for a week away. There is no bad bedroom, no cast off furniture / equipment - beds are comfortable, shower has endless hot water with good pressure, plenty of crockery etc - just great. It is spacious, clean and well located - beach, pubs, cafes and local shops all within walking distance. You can be as busy as you like - explore places like St Davids, Whitesand and Newport, or relax in the house - we did both and really enjoyed ourselves. I would highly recommend staying here - we loved it, thank you.
Mrs Godber
Being dog owners the location of the park at the rear of the property was perfect.
Mr Smith
This is a suberbly comfortable and well-equipped house on the Pembrokeshire coast. We held a fabulous family gathering here (six adults and a dog) and we were all very impressed, were all very comfortable and had a very relaxing stay.
Mrs Angel
Beautiful house. So clean and in a great location to see Pembrokeshire. Beds were so comfortable and everyone had enough space in all the rooms. The pink touches in each room shows the owners have thought carefully about the furnishings and it really does make the house feel so welcoming. The welcome basket is excellent too.
Mr Morgan
Pink door at 54 is a gem of a house, this is our 2nd visit and I sincerely hope, not our last, since we have already made some unforgettable family memories here. Despite the November wind and rain trying its hardest, it did not bother us one bit due to the close proximity of all our needs such as shops, pubs etc. The house is enormous and easily accomodates our family of 8 and at the same time manages to remain warm and cosy. The kitchen with its dining and lounge area (our favourite room! ) is just perfect for a family meal and entertainment, the kitchen has absolutely everything you could possibly want or need, as does the rest of the house. The finishing touches made our stay perfect , the house was toasty warm on arrival, the welcome pack(just special) especially the prosecco for toasting our 35th anniversary, and above all, Collette, there to welcome us on arrival and always there to answer our needs no matter how big or small, many many thanks!
Mrs Blakemore
Very well maintained property with extremely comfortable beds and furniture. Shower cubicle spacious and lovely downstairs loo. Kitchen very well equipped, even having a coffee machine. The children loved crab fishing at Lower Fishguard which is a very pretty little place and has free parking!
Mrs Ingram
This is a truly great place to stay, and we had a wonderful Christmas there. The owners are incredibly generous with things like a welcome basket, Christmas gift (thank you!!) and plenty of dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls, dog biscuits, coffee pods, tea bags, logs for the fire, etc etc. It was spotlessly clean and the beds are amazingly comfortable! The location is great, almost in the centre of town and there’s a Co-op literally a minute’s walk away. One small issue to be aware of - make sure you pack enough clean clothing for your entire stay as there is no washing machine. That said, the positives far outweigh this and it wouldn’t stop us from returning. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.
Mrs Payne
This is a beautiful house with plenty of room. Well equipped, spacious and in a perfect location at the top of the high street, 1 minute from the park and a big Co-op, as well as an easy walk to the pub, cafes, swimming pool, and down to the harbour and sea. Fishguard is a pretty town and a great base for exploring Pembrokeshire, easy to get around to all the beautiful beaches and coast walks and the attractions.
Mr Harrison
Our October half-term visit to Pembrokeshire was made special by the stay at Pink Door at 54. The property is very comfortable and deceptively spacious, with large bedrooms and two reception rooms split over three levels. The two reception rooms allowed the children to sit separately to the adults, if they wanted some space. Once the little ones were put to bed at night, we found ourselves occupying the large kitchen diner chatting and playing games. Despite the chilly weather, we ventured out every day to explore all that Pembrokeshire had to offer (castles, cathedrals, beaches, coastal paths, adventure farms, and dolphin safaris!) – Fishguard proved to the ideal location situated centrally between Tenby, St Davids, and Cardigan. After a day of exploring, it was a pleasure to return to the warm and cosy Pink Door at 54. I highly recommend at stay at Pink Door at 54.
Mr Baugh
Great house, beautiful presented in a good location for exploring the local area and beyond.
Mrs McHale
Beautifully furnished, warm and cosy, lovely location. We had a wonderful Christmas at Pink Door and we’re planning to come back next year!
Mr Morgan
Pink door at 54 is a deceptively large and spacious house, equipped and furnished to a very high standard. Perfect for a large family get together such as ours (7 adults, 1 infant). Despite its size all rooms remained cozy and extremely comfortable. Due to the time of year and the weather we didn't get to use the patio area which has views across the park and the town and down to the sea, perfect for a bbq on a sunny day! We managed to park our three cars to the rear, but it is tight and took much maneuvering, the lane leading to it is narrow also. This was not an issue for us as we didn't need to go anywhere over our weekend but I imagine it could get tiresome if using your cars a lot. the house is perfectly situated for all the town has to offer, a large co-op just around the corner, a bespoke bakery about 100yds and The Royal Oak pub easy walking distance for all and there are many other shops, cafes etc for all your needs. The Royal Oak is lovely, friendly pub serving good beer and lovely food, I recommend the sunday roasts! A big thankyou to Collette who was always on the end of the line if needed, all in all a perfect little holiday with the family. I highly recommend this jewel of a house and can't wait to return!
Mr Stacy Waddy
We stayed here as we had never been to Fishguard before and the location was ideal. The house is appointed to an extremely high standard and with an eye for detail. Spacious and comfortable for a group, the extra reception rooms meant everyone can relax without being on top of one another. Highly recommended!
Mrs Batchelor
Beautiful house with plenty of space for large mixed group. Close to super market and park for children. Nice places to eat and places to walk. Car parking tight but manageable. No washing machine on site.
Mrs Bliss
It was a wonderful house and furnished to a high standard, but it really is not suitable for young families.
Mrs Elcock
Beautiful house in a very convenient location.
Mrs Mason
Furnishings and carpets were luxurious. House was gorgeous, warm and homely. Felt comfortable straight away. The property was home from home and totally beautiful. We were very surprised that of the 5 bedrooms not one had a wardrobe which we felt was a mistake as we couldn’t hang up our clothes. This was annoying as clothes remained in the suitcase which none of us liked. The main bedroom on the third floor was stunning but we didn’t like the open toilet situation, not the most romantic of settings having to sit on the loo with no door. That said, we loved staying at The Pink Door at 54 and would stay again. It’s a totally cosy beautiful house. If they could add wardrobes and change the bath in the main bedroom to a closed in en-suite I’m sure it would add masses to peoples stay.

Great location in the heart of a gorgeous little village of Fishguard. Ideal spot to explore the Pembrokeshire coast
