No 12
With views of Ilfracombe harbour framed by the gorgeous north Devon coastline, and where the sea meets the horizon, you've found not only a fabulous Victorian villa that has been styled and refurbished beautifully but a north Devon location that will work for families, couples or even a solo traveller and, of course, no holiday is complete without your trusted four-legged companion. The warmest of welcomes awaits you at No 12!
This gorgeous three-storey, terraced abode is set back from the town yet within a short stroll down to the harbour, beaches and miles and miles of coast paths all from your front door! Once you've arrived in Ilfracombe there is no need to jump in your car, you can simply relax and enjoy all a holiday coastal town has to offer!
As you open the front door of No 12 you will instantly feel at home, from a cocktail hour in the sitting-room with a sea view, to a family feast enjoyed around the dining-table thanks to the family chef working their culinary magic in the fully equipped kitchen. For those chillier mornings stoke the wood-burner or on those balmy summer evenings enjoy the evening sun by pushing open the bi-fold door to the tiered garden. From a family barbecue to a sundowner you will find the perfect spot. The light and spacious ground floor really is rather special with beautiful touches such as the stained glass window to the views of the bobbing sea.
When the light fades and the night draws in, climb the stairs where you will discover three relaxing bedrooms. Each room has been decorated in muted calming tones complemented by beautiful styling, crisp linens and the cosiest of beds to rest your weary holiday legs with a dose of sea air! Bedroom one offers the versatility of a 'zip and link' bed - king or twins, the choice is yours. Bedroom two enjoys an en suite shower-room whilst sharing the same view as bedroom three that sits at the top of the house and accessed via a final set of stairs. The beauty of this house is that you also have the benefit of not one but two workstations should you need to check in on emails or study, sometimes life still has to continue even when you're on holiday but at No 12 you can do it in style.

This cottage is lovely and very well equipped with glorious sea views from its elevated position. The property had a mini log burner which was an added bonus for the chilly evenings. I would recommend this property to anyone who is thinking of booking it.

No 12 is a really lovely house with fabulous views of the sea. It is well furnished and has a lovely garden and seating area.
Ideally located to walk down into Ilfracombe.

Our stay at No12 was everything we hoped for. A beautiful Victorian House with a wonderful sea view and a high end finish on fixtures and furnishings. Parking is available on street but not always outside and beware that everything in North Devon is on a steep slope! The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need and a good sized fridge freezer which was a godsend. All in all a lovely week in Devon.

Firstly the booking process was very smooth and the ladies I spoke to at Classic were very lovely and helpful. Originally my booking was rejected and I got an email to say this but not the reason for it. After phoning up I was informed the owners could not accommodate a Sunday changeover. We wanted to stay Wednesday - Sunday but were left with no option but to stay another day. I cannot understand why this was the case but nonetheless once we got there, we were happy to stay the extra day as this property is lovely. The views are amazing, it is furnished beautifully, and very well equipped. It is a busy residential area so parking is sometimes a little tricky but we always got a space nearby. The front door is very difficult to open from the inside and needs a little nudge when coming in from the outside. This property is in a good central location to different towns, allowing you to explore North Devon. There are a few little pubs around but not loads. The website is deceiving as it gives you a price but that is only if you have 4 guests or less so once you actually click through it does become expensive - however it is good value for money.

This property is very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could need and all the bedrooms are comfortable with good mattresses and bedding. The log fire adds a lovely warmth in the lounge area. The owners really have thought of everything you need for a weeks holiday!
The property is on a hill - it’s pretty steep walk back up from town but only takes 15-20 mins.
