Welcome to Horseshoe Cottage, located in the heart of the coastal village of Snettisham, just a few miles from Hunstanton. This beautifully restored Carrstone cottage, blends traditional exterior architecture with modern and stylish interiors and is an ideal choice for couples and families, offering flexible sleeping arrangements. The principal bedroom with a king-size bed and en suite, boasts a rather ornate bathroom with roll-top bath (there are two steps into the bathroom) and a separate shower enclosure. Bedroom two has 'zip and link' beds which can be configured as either another king-size or twins, also with a spacious en suite shower-room.

As you step through the front door you are greeted by a tasteful mix of coastal chic and contemporary design, with the heart of the home being the welcoming wood-burner; marvellous for warming your toes! Relax back into the comfy sofas after a day exploring the stunning Norfolk coastline and enjoy a movie on the Smart TV or indulge yourself with that novel you've been meaning to finish. The cottage features a stunning, well-equipped kitchen; superb for conjuring up a special feast or a hearty breakfast. The dining-room leads off from the kitchen and is a wonderful place to enjoy family dinners or a special celebratory meal with friends, a handy wine cooler is perfect for chilling those bottles of fizz!

On a summer's evening open the French doors from the kitchen and breathe in the coastal air amidst the soft scent of the flowering climbing plants that line the beautiful, enclosed garden, where grapevines adorn the border, adding a touch of the Mediterranean. Choose your perfect place to enjoy local delicacies, such as fresh fish with samphire and freshly caught crab or lobster from Gurneys, one of the favoured fish shops a few minutes around the coast at Drove Orchards. Relax on the terrace with a glass of your favourite tipple and soak up the peaceful atmosphere under Norfolk's big blue skies and as the sun sets enjoy a spot of stargazing. On cooler evenings cosy up in the summer-house, complete with 6'3" pool table, whilst listening to the gentle sounds of birdsong and listen out for the hooting of the local barn owls.

Whether it's a family holiday by the sea, or a romantic autumn break for two, Horseshoe Cottage will leave you refreshed, recharged and with memories to last a lifetime.

Mrs Keeley

Very nice cottage exactly as described. There were plenty of things to make use of in the kitchen we enjoyed the summerhouse and played some vinyls took us back in time we couldn’t fault it the welcome hamper was much appreciated and we had a lovely time thanks for a very comfortable cottage .

Mrs Irvine

This cottage is a magical place of restfulness and comfort. It is so very spruce, and yet homely; you will feel instantly at home. I do not hesitate to recommend this property. The owners made us feel very welcome with their welcome packs, and the visitor guide. What a treat to have the use of the garden room, equipped with a pool table and a vinyl record player - such joy. The kitchen is chock-full of thoughtful hard-wear such as a stick blender, tubs with lids for your left-overs, bag clips, plenty of pots and pans and baking dishes. I think it is so useful to have amenities similar to those you have at home. The village is also somewhat magical, a sleepy place of immense charm. The well-stocked Co-op was very close at hand, as was the excellent Rose and Crown pub, which offers superb value for money for delicious, delightful fayre. Do take buses where possible - the bus service is excellent. The beach is within walking distance and the wonderful Norfolk Coastal path is brilliant. The bird life we saw while walking the path was remarkable. The people of Norfolk are friendly and polite, in our experience. We found Norfolk to be an historical county of enormous appeal.

Mrs Dixey

What a fabulous cottage; very tastefully decorated and clean. The welcome hamper was very generous and a nice touch when we arrived. We had a lovely 3 nights and would definitely book again. The north Norfolk area and beaches are beautiful - we hadn’t explored this part of the country before but will be back to see more. We loved the decor and our dog loved the Dog box and treat jar!

Ms Raeside

Quite the loveliest cottage we have stayed in - definitely more home than holiday cottage.
