Managed by Classic Cottages
Inside there is an abundance of space to spread out and enjoy coastal living. The interiors are luxurious and inspiring and thoughtfully curated to create this very special space. The kitchen is the heart of the home and features a large dining-table, access to the terrace and is appointed with high-end equipment.
The sitting-room has enormous windows that frame the dramatic views of rugged cliffs and the Atlantic ocean; perfect for watching the sparkle of the sun reflecting the calm summer seas, storm watching in the winter months next to the wood-burner or stargazing in the evenings. Adjoining the sitting-room, accessed via one step, is a sun-room which opens onto the large wraparound terrace.
There are two gorgeous bedrooms on the ground floor, a stylish super-king on the seaward side with views out across the Atlantic and towards Mullion Island, a nature reserve for birds, a spacious twin with en suite shower-room and, with one step up, a practical ground floor family bathroom. There is also a handy and spacious utility-room, also with a step up, that has a large fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble-drier and access to outside.
On the first floor you will find a spacious landing and laid-back seating-area with a Juliet balcony for an elevated oceanic outlook. Bedroom three is a king-size and has a westerly window with sea glimpses. Bedroom four is a super-king 'zip and link' and can be made up to your preference, again with those incredible views, take care on the step down from this bedroom. A handy shower-room is situated between the two. Taking care under the eaves and across the hall you will find luxurious bedroom five, with a Juliet balcony to frame those incredible views, and an en suite bathroom.
Outside, the garden is beautiful and cleverly landscaped for shelter from coastal winds and biodiversity. You will find a choice of places to sit and enjoy the views and the nature, with an abundance of herbs and a diverse range of colour and flowers, Col Ros has something to offer year-round from the daffodils in early February, to the bluebells in spring to the agapanthus in summertime. There is a charcoal barbecue for al fresco dinners and lovely large dining-table for all to gather around. Take care in the garden, there's multiple steps and uneven terrain throughout.
There are several steps to access the lawn from the terrace area. The garden gate gives access to the South West Coast Path and leads you down to Polurrian beach. Take care here, as this is not a flat pathway and there are several steps to access it from the garden gate.
