Great holiday in 1 Carnglaze. Fantastic location and plenty of space for two people and our dog.

I Carnglaze Place is an ideal place to stay as it's quiet but only minutes away is the harbour and town. All the rooms were lovely and clean and the furniture and fittings were good. Just a note that if you are tall the stairs up to the bedroom are a little low side! All in all a lovely stay. Would highly recommend Aspects holidays as their service is always second to none.

We've stayed in this property 4 or 5 times and absolutely love it. Its really hard to find properties for just 2 people so this is a rare gem! Its in a great location and is super comfy. We feel like its our home from home!

We really enjoyed our stay at Carnglaze Place. The location was perfect, in 10 seconds you’re on the harbour front! The cottage was spotless, lovely comfy bed and was nice there was a milk in the fridge. The property had all the basics to get you going (washing tablets, spray, toilet roll, etc) - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Accommodation is spacious. Bed is super comfortable and in convenient location.

Key safe could be in a safer lower position though.

1 Carnglaze place is in an excellent location for St Ives amenities. Will be recommending this apartment to family and friends.

We recently stayed at this accommodation in St Ives and overall, it has a lot going for it. The location is fantastic — just a short stroll to the harbour, shops, and beaches, which made it really convenient for getting around and enjoying everything St Ives has to offer. The accommodation itself was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, making it a nice base for our stay.

Unfortunately, what let it down was the ongoing building work right next door. From 9am until 9pm, there was constant noise from power tools, loud music from the builders, and a fair bit of building waste scattered around the area. It definitely took away from the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere we were hoping for.

If you’re planning to be out and about for most of the day, it might not be an issue — but for those looking for a quiet getaway or to spend time enjoying the property, it’s something to be aware of. Hopefully once the building work is finished, it’ll be a much more enjoyable experience because the location and accommodation itself are lovely.

A great little find is 1 Carnglaze Place, a superb location by the harbour, beaches and restaurants. For a one bedroom place it felt very spacious and comfortable in the lounge, kitchen and bedroom, also great to have the area as you come in for your coats, boots etc. The bed was super comfortable and the shower hot and powerful! Lovely cottage close to harbour perfect for all amenities. Very clean, well equipped comfortable accommodation.

This was our third trip to Carnglaze Place and it didnt disappoint. We absolutely love it! It's in a great location to explore, right by the harbour and 5 mins from Porthmeor and has a car park really close by (something not to be taken for granted in St Ives!). The accommodation is super comfy and cosy and it feels like our home from home. We'll be going back again in March if we can!

Lovely bright spacious feeling apartment with everything you need for your holiday. Loved being so close to the harbour.

We found the stairs to the bedroom steep with no handrail on the second part so would not recommend for people with mobility issues.

Location of property is amazing, fab value for money.

Literally 30 steps to the beach!

We parked at StIves Rugby Club for the week for £45 (walking down to the town is fine but be prepared for a hike back to your car).

Already booked up again for next year!

Lovely little cottage right in the heart of st ives!

We had a brilliant stay here for May half-term week - the location is perfect being so close to the beaches/shops/restaurants, and although there’s no parking it was easy to unload the car quickly on the harbour front. The property is just perfect for 2 people and a dog and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few dinners. The WiFi wasn’t the fastest and it was difficult to find the bin for our rubbish on departure but Aspects were very helpful in finding this for us. Would definitely recommend this property and we hope to stay here again!

We had a lovely time at Carnglaze Place! The property is ideal for 2 people and a dog as there is so much space inside which can be hard to find in St Ives. Our Old English Sheepdog was really settled in the property and we loved the large bedroom with huge bed! The location is a stones throw from the harbour though really quiet and does not get any of the harbour noise. We would definitely book to stay at Carnglaze place again, it is ideal that they accept short breaks too!

Very clean, spacious and comfortable one bedroomed , dog friendly, fisherman's cottage in the heart of St. Ives but set back from the harbour. Our favourite secret bolthole, which we like so much, we have booked it twice this year.

Amazing place, my favourite I’ve stayed at in St Ives and will certainly book again. Amazing location, very spacious! Perfect for a couple with a dog, didn’t feel cramped at all like other properties in St Ives!

Deceptively spacious property for two people and a dog and located footsteps from the harbour and dog friendly beach - perfect for sea swimming fans. Very comfortable bed and clean facilities throughout. Would book again.

1 Carnglaze Place is a perfect spot for a cosy break in St Ives. The property sits behind the harbour and has everything you'd need. We've stayed at the property twice and will do so again. The property is near the Tate, the island and Porthmeor beach, in a quiet area plus there's a lovely restaurant, Silco infront of it which is really worth visiting. We have just had a very comfortable two weeks in 1 Carnglaze Place, there was everything we needed & it was very clean.
We have booked again for next year.

Another fantastic holiday in St Ives and brilliant cottage. Great location, perfect size and all the facilities that you could ask for. Will be coming back.

A beautiful apartment, very central in St Ives. The accommodation has been decorated beautifully and you feel very calm when relaxing in the space. The kitchen is very well stocked with pots, pans, crockery, chopping boards etc. Definitely park at The Island car park, it is approx a 5 minute walk away. All other car parks are much further.

If you do book this property ensure you pack the following - toilet roll, dishwasher tablets, additional bin bags (we had to buy all these as only a very small amount provided). Also, if you love tea/coffee, bring extras as they provide a good amount but we got through the tea bags in 3 days!

Just enjoyed a lovely week at 1 Carnglaze Place, St. Ives. It is perfectly located in the heart of St.Ives and close to all the beaches/harbour/pubs/restaurants and shops. A spacious 1 bedroomed dog friendly cottage, just off Wharf Road, the property is accessed by several steps up to the door which leads into a practical area for coats and boots with a shower room and toilet. The living room/kitchen and upstairs bedroom were very clean, spacious and well equipped with a lovely homely feel and a fantastic king sized bed to ensure a great nights sleep. Looking forward to visiting St. Ives again next year!

The apartment is beautifully decorated and furnished. It was easy to book and speak with aspects.

The central location is great, but the entrance is on a lane backing onto a restaurant, pretty smelly and a bit unpleasant. I also found the apartment to smell of dogs.

Comfy, very clean & cosy accommodation in excellent location.
Would definitely recommend and will return.

Just a great cottage in a super location

We absolutely loved our stay at 1 Carnglaze. It was perfect for us and our dog, Rusty.
We weren’t sure what to expect from the apartment as photos can be deceiving but we were thrilled with the size, layout and decor.
There was a really homely feel to the apartment and lots of touches that made it feel special.
We loved the entrance way which enabled us to take our sandy shoes off without treading sand through the apartment. The bathroom was lovely and airy with a good shower. The sitting room was spacious and light with two sash windows allowing fresh air. L The kitchen was well equipped and tastefully done. The bedroom was spacious and had the most wonderfully comfortable and super sized bed.
There was a lovely touch from the housekeepers where we had been left a bottle milk and some chocolate along with a contact number should we need them.
We will definitely book 1 Carnglaze again. Thanks you.

Well appointed very comfortable

1 Carnglaze Place is perfect. We usually stay the other side of the harbour so it was great to be located on the island to explore there. The property is in an excellent location and the decor is clean, contemporary and comfortable. Will definitely go back.

We had the most amazing Christmas and New Year break, the property was so comfortable and warm. The bed and linen was so soft it was a struggle to get out of bed each morning. The kitchen had every utensil you needed to cook especially a Christmas dinner, it was spotlessly clean and just a few steps from the harbour front, can’t wait to book again.

A nice place to stay but there is room for improvement. Noisy neighbors and the feeling of no privacy. I liked the space and the decor. The Flat was quite spacious considering where it was located. I also enjoyed a nice comfy king sized bed to myself.

Great little cottage

Great location but extremely difficult to find parking close by. Was a struggle to get the car close enough to drop off our luggage and then had to leave the car at the rugby club at the top of the hill because parking nearby was full.

I have been coming to Saint Ives for many years my grandchildren come with my daughter we spend two weeks here every year and have a fantastic time lot busy this year to be expected will be back again and will possibly book this apartment again if it’s available 10/10

Beautiful cottage, perfectly placed and decorated thoughtfully with some lovely touches. Very comfortable huge bed, fabulous shower, lovely and warm throughout, we were so sad to leave!

Absolutely loved our stay at Carnglaze Place. We couldn't have asked for better location and the Island Car Park was a few minutes walk, easy enough for us to pop back to the car or transfer luggage. The place itself was modern and cosy, had a lovely Cornish cottage feel to it. We will definitely try to stay here on our next trip to St Ives!

Lovely fresh and comfortable apartment, tucked away just a few yards from the harbour and beach. Beautiful furnishings and the flat is more spacious than expected. Very cosy and warm. (Note: the steep external steps to the door and internal stairs to bedroom make it unsuitable for elderly or those with mobility issues). Great service from Aspects Holidays. Great location, very modern and comfortable

Brilliant location, lovely, cosy flat with charm and loads of space for two with all the amenities needed. Booking was easy and the key box and instructions meant that check-in/out was seamless.
