Cosy large cottage with not one but two lounges with log burners .Great for walking coast path ,pub and tea room in Morwenstow a must do .Great shopping in Bude with lots of independent traders.we really enjoyed our stay in this immaculately clean home .The welcome basket was a pleasant surprise to arrive to.

An absolute gem
Hobb’s Choice is a beautiful old cottage, beautifully equipped and with so much space. It’s almost like two cottages.
We had a wonderful time and would definitely go back. We usually book pet free cottages, but this cottage was very clean and if we hadn’t known, we wouldn’t have realised it accepted pets. With lovely flag stone floors and strategically placed mats, it really was very cosy. A lovely garden as well and although remote, not too remote!

Our family had a really lovely week staying at Hobb’s choice. A quiet location where you can relax and really appreciate the sounds of nature around you.Had a really cozy cottage feel after days out exploring the area and the wonderful beaches.Would recommend to those seeking a peaceful holiday cottage.

Beautiful cottage within easy reach of most things.
It is well furnished (perhaps a few too many pieces of furniture) and very comfortable with space for family members to do different things at the same time.
The Conservatory was a wonderful place to read and look out at the beautiful garden which were a hive of activity. Two comfy armchairs would make the space perfect! ??

Definitely hope to return in the future.

My wife and I loved the history and quirkiness of the property. Although there is a lane close by, we found the property to be quiet and peaceful. The cottage is situated where popular destinations such as Clovelly, Bude and Hartland are within easy distance. Thank you to the owners for such a thoughtful welcome pack. We really enjoyed our week at Hobb's Choice and will certainly be returning in future. A big shout out to the Aspects team for their friendly and professional service.

This delightful house is the quintessential getting away from it all holiday destination. Situated in a secluded valley there is quick and easy access by car to stunning beaches and a variety of interesting and historic destinations. We had a great time exploring the local countryside, eating out in some terrific restaurants, pubs and tearooms, while taking our dog everywhere. The house itself is roomy and comfortable, with several extensive lawned areas and a conservatory which is perfect for sitting in when the sun shines. There is a decent selection of books, DVDs and games for rainy days, and two separate living rooms to enjoy them in. All in all it was ideal for a quiet family holiday.

Very comfortable and spacious has everything you need - quiet rural location but easily accessible to places.
Very dog friendly - parking off road - stream at end of garden not a problem and dogs didn’t venture there - would love to return thanks

Hobbs Choice was a delightful cottage with many extras and lots of space for a family of six. Care should be taken with children & pets as there is quite a lot of passing traffic in the lane. We had a few issues all of which have been reported, so hopefully others will be able to enjoy their time at Hobbs Choice. I would certainly recommend it.

We had a delightful week at Hobbs choice, despite alot of autumn rain. It was a spacious place for our family of 5 to spread out an do their own thing, yet be together. Lounging on comfy sofas, snuggled in fluffy throws with a good book in one sitting room, need not bother others watching TV, Netflix or a DVD in another sitting room, or just garden-watching in the conservatory. The seclusion and quaintness of the cottage made for a real get-away-from-it-all break that was really rejuvenating. Lovely beaches to discover nearby, and the welcome basket on arrival was a special touch too. Might just mention the doorways are low in one or two places, so tall folk could learn that the hard way! Highly recommended.
