The Lighthouse Keeper's Cabin
Set sail for the getaway of your dreams with a magical stay in a very special hideaway overlooking the ocean. The Lighthouse Keeper's Cabin is perfectly situated just a stone's throw from the shoreline with mesmerising sea views and within easy reach of the gorgeous countryside and coast of South Wales.
Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway for two or a solo adventure with your four-legged friend, this quirky cabin has all you need for an escape from the everyday!
From the moment you arrive at The Lighthouse Keeper's Cabin you will be enchanted. Attached to the neighbouring 200-year-old lighthouse, the cabin has been cleverly crafted with a capsule kitchen area including a fridge and freezer compartment, two ring electric hob and oven, ideal for creating your holiday meals. A vintage table and chairs make dining a pleasure and when the day is done, the dreamy super-king size four-poster bed is waiting for a restful sleep. The separate shower and WC are hidden away at either side of the bedstead. A seaside theme is evident throughout with an eclectic assortment of paintings and ornaments.
Outside, a wooden decked area with barbecue and comfy seating invites you to sit and soak in the views from dawn until dusk. Step off the deck onto the grassed area and you will find a dining-area and fabulous fire-pit for toasting marshmallows under the stars, and of course the all-important hot tub for soaking away the adventures of the day. An interesting feature outside is a full-size Tardis, which commemorates the cabin's appearance on Dr Who!
Whether you plan to spend your blissful days admiring the view or wander further afield and explore this beautiful part of Wales, The Lighthouse Keeper's Cabin offers the perfect getaway throughout the seasons.

Inside the cabin:
The curtains didn't close fully.
The bin was broken - the lid didn't work
Shelf was missing in the fridge so everything had to be piled on top of each other.
Nothing for the dog - considering we were paying £38 for him to stay - nothing, no bowl etc (we brought everything with us but usually there is some sign, recognition, that a dog is visiting too.
No oven gloves
Nowhere to hang anything wet such as wet towels from the shower, coats, dog jackets etc (it rained a fair bit)
The pillows on the bed were thin as pancakes, cheapest things I have ever seen - really difficult to prop ourselves up - and it was the only place to sit other than two hard backed dining chairs
Two drinking glasses - not matching, small water tumblers and two plastic champagne flutes.
Small shelf and light on one side of the bed only - nowhere to put a drink, glasses, phone etc other than on the floor next to the bed.
No welcome hamper/items, only 6 sachets of UHT milk and some tea bags etc. I thought it was really mean as we were literally in the middle of nowhere and I had forgotten to bring milk with me.
The site is a wedding venue - luckily no wedding was on whilst we were there as the marquee is right next to the cabin
The tardis is a public toilet

You really don’t want me to leave a review!
I have photos as evidence for my above comments if you would like them.

Lovely location, needs some refinement on the WiFi and description of how to get to the cabin. Should be mentioned that it is not alone on site.
Very quiet location with a nice coastal walk
