Would recommend people consider using Aspects if booking a break away in Cornwall, fast, friendly service.
Mrs Saunders
We had a great holiday at Salem Cottage, it had everything we needed and was very clean and a high standard of kitchen appliances and equipment. Beds were comfy and a spacious bathroom. Although as stated the cottage is a little remote it was nice to come back to every day after the hustle and bustle of Cornwall in August.
We would not hesitate to come back again.
Mr Joyce
Salem Cottage is an exceptional holiday home with fantastic countryside views from the front upstairs windows. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and cutlery. The Bathroom is spacious and the lounge area very comfortable with a great log burner. We would have no hesitation returning to the property again
Mr Rigley
Great place, in a nice location if you don't mind travelling around 20 mins to the coast.
Mrs Lynch
Lovely cottage and facilities for a break away in beautiful Cornwall. Although on a road and on the whole very quiet when cars or farm vehicles did go by it was very loud especially at night, which woke me up on occasions.
Remote location, so took a while to get anywhere, but that was our choice.
We spent most of our time at Constantine Bay, which was beautiful and everything you need in a beach for the family.
Mrs Garrod
Just home from a fabulous week staying at Salem Cottage. The cottage was cosy, comfortable, well equipped and suited us down to the ground. Wouldn't hesitate to book to stay again.
Mr Castrichino
Salem cottage is beautiful place to stay. Our only major concern was the sheer amount of farm traffic speeding past at all hours of the day and night. We suspect it was for the farm nearby.
Mr Worth
Quite,clean,welcoming,off road parking
Good value
Miss Rout

Mr Denton

We stayed as a group of four along with one dog. We visited as far south as St Austell and north as Bideford and a heck of a lot in between. Rachel met us on arrival and gave us the heads up on several places to visit our eat which was very helpful. The property was very tidy and felt Covid safe. The furniture was very comfy and the garden being encoded made it easy to relax with our dog. We realised very quickly that the property being nowhere near the coast, although 20 minutes or so away isn’t too far, was a blessing as all the seaside towns seemed so very busy. We were able to relax at home and not worry about parking. We were also able to get fish and chips in Camelford back to Salem whilst still piping hot. A very nice and relaxing place to stay. 10/10

Salem Cottage has been updated beautifully whilst keeping a traditional feel. The cottage is spacious and well equipped for a family. It is located close to Bude with easy access to Newquay, Port Isaac and Padstow.
The cottage is located in a small hamlet down easily accessible roads but unfortunately there was a lot of passing traffic throughout the day and night which can be very loud. We used the back door to access the property from our car as it was safer with young children. The small garden was a lovely bonus.
Mrs Barnes-Burrell
Lovely cottage, well decorated and equipped. Very homely and nice atmosphere. Quiet area. However location was too remote for us, the road is busy with no pavement and fast oncoming traffic - not safe to walk the dog. We didn't find anywhere nearby to walk the dog as fields have livestock in them. Also no shops or pubs nearby so we had to do a lot of to-ing and fro-ing. However, cottage is very reasonably priced and good value for money. Would have been more suitable for a family without young children who need to go back for a rest in the day and a dog who needs a lot of exercise!! Also a family who is more organised with meals etc - we like to be spontaneous on holiday but there wasn't anywhere nearby and we had to drive to Bude which was an hour round trip.
Mr Worth
Lovely remote location. Excellent, well presented property
Mr Williams
This is a lovely cottage in a very quiet location, a bit out of the way but close enough to the coast, and great for walks. It is very well equipped and has good quality kitchen equipment. It could benefit from a larger fridge, especially if there are 5 occupants.
The shower is very good, and the furniture good quality and comfortable.
Our dog enjoyed the garden which is enclosed (although a very small dog could escape).
A good woodburning fire kept us cosy in the evenings.
Mr Dougherty
Lovely cottage. Very rural and peaceful location which is what we wanted but still close to Bude and the lovely coast that side. Very well equipped kitchen and cottage, important these days as spent more time at the cottage due to the lockdown that started during it. Lovely and cosy in the lounge with the fire going. Would definitely recommend Salem cottage.
Mr Fletcher
Salem Cottage is a beautifully decorated, peaceful place to explore this bit of Cornwall from - I could get used to such stunning coastline being so close. (Crackington Haven is only 20mins away)
Well equipped and comfortable - we particularly enjoyed the baby-friendly features.
Highly recommended!
Mr Deacon
Salem Cottage is great value for money it's situated in a great spot for a peaceful break.
Boscastle at sunset is a must.
Great Farm hop also on the way to Boscastle.
Had a great time..
Mr Wright
A lovely cottage nestled down in the Cornish countryside and good value because of its comparatively secluded location. No bad thing at the moment... So yes, you'll need a car, but the Cornish coast is only a short drive and it's spectacular. Plus you're near enough to the border to explore North Devon too – cycle the Tarka trail or walk along the coast near Hartland, which is properly wild and glorious.
Mrs Jones
Fantastic cottage spotlessly clean very well equipped the perfect base for exploring beautiful Cornwall throughly enjoyed our stay at Salem.
Mr Mellor
Salem cottage was delightful and provided an excellent base for places in north Cornwall. We would happily return for a future summer holiday.
Mr Savickas
Lovely cottage, had a great week in this lovely part of Cornwall. The cottage was in a great location, really quiet and peaceful away from the crowds but still close enough to some great beaches. The house was really comfortable with everything we needed including many little handy extras. Loved the log burner and a cosy evening on the sofa. Would definelty come back and stay here again, we had a lovely time. Thank you
