Welcome to Little Woodland House, a peaceful yet full-of-life glamping retreat nestled in the picturesque Fowey Valley. This thoughtfully crafted wooden cabin is ideal for a romantic escape for two (plus the dog), or a place where the whole family can immerse themselves in the natural beauty of Cornwall’s great outdoors.

Surrounded by five acres of wildflower meadows, pastureland, woodland paths and a gently flowing brook there’s an abundance of opportunity for adventure. Or for those looking for a restful stay, you can spend sunny afternoons relaxing on comfortable loungers, enjoy the soothing babble of the hot tub or while away summer evenings gently swaying in porch hammocks, basking in the golden glow of the setting sun.

Dining al fresco is a true delight at here, with every mealtime offering the chance to savour the great outdoors. Enjoy satisfying suppers under a twinkling sky, gather around the fire-pit for a leisurely barbecue, or venture out with a well-packed picnic to one of the many peaceful spots hidden among the meadows and trees - complete of course with bottles of ginger beer, crusty bread, and all the nostalgic treats of a proper countryside outing.

Lovingly crafted by the welcoming, yet discreet owners, The Little Woodland House is as perfect on the inside as it is on the outside. The kitchen, with its whitewashed beams and rope lights, is perfectly equipped for the ultimate glamping experience, with a two ring hob, oven, fridge and even a dishwasher, because who wants to wash up on holiday? There’s a cosy dining nook for those cooler evenings, when you’d rather eat inside and linger over a glass of wine and perhaps engage in a fiercely contested game of Scrabble. The wet-room features impressive tiles that create a quietly cocooning, almost cave-like atmosphere. The large drench-head shower offers a welcome retreat at the end of a day’s adventure; the perfect way to unwind before settling beside the warmth of the wood-burner for a cosy evening in.

There’s a sumptuous king-size bed, elegantly framed by a stylish bedstead and subtly set apart from the main living space. Here, beautiful wallpaper inspired by the surrounding woodland’s flora and fauna adds a gentle nod to the nature outside. At the opposite end of the cabin, little adventurers will discover a delightful bunkroom where the beds playfully criss-cross (note: one bunk measures 2'6", the others are 3'). With its storybook charm and cosy atmosphere, it promises giggles and whispered bedtime tales - though parents can rest easy - as the room comes with a proper door for peace and privacy.

Miss Ostergaard

From the booking process, to checking in and out, our experience was brilliant. The Little Woodland House was a true joy, with everything you could need and more. The high spec of the house is a pure treat, giving a luxury but rural feel. Despite being a small house, as a family of 5, we did not feel crammed in. On the contrary, the clever design gives plenty of space to enjoy. We would recommend this lovely little house to anyone!

Mr Horey

Excellent little lodge, hot tub is lovely outside, location is ideal with many places close by to visit. Hosts are very nice, friendly, and helpful. Would fully recommend this place for a break. Its very quiet, lots of nature to listen out for.
I would advise taking extra towels as that was our only negative, our visit was over christmas so it was cold, and it was hard to get the towels dry before smelling damp.
Thank you again for a beautiful break.

Mr Casey

We had such a lovely break, the accommodation is very welcoming and warming. We all miss the chickens and ducks. The grounds were nice to explorer, and made for a very peaceful soak in the hot tub after a long day exploring the local area. We will definitely be back.
