Mallards
Perfectly situated in the sought-after village of Seaview, just a short stroll from the beach and village centre, Mallards is a charming three-storey detached Edwardian town house with a secluded rear garden, ideal for a family holiday or Island getaway with friends and your four-legged friend is welcome to join you.
Situated on a quiet residential street (with a public EV charging point on the road outside), Mallards has all you'll need for an Island escape. The spacious sitting-room sits to the front of the house, light and bright thanks to the wide bay windows with cushioned seating. Furnished with comfy chairs and a large sofa this is the perfect place to relax after a busy day in front of the TV
The open-plan living space has kitchen and dining areas alongside a sitting-area overlooking the garden, ideal for sociable holidays. Two sets of bi-fold doors open out onto the delightful garden, letting the outside in, ideal for summer days in the Island sunshine. The kitchen to the rear has all the equipment you'll need to cook a holiday meal, plus the all-important dishwasher! The ground floor is also home to a shower-room where you can rinse salty toes after a busy beach day.
The first floor is home to three bedrooms, all comfortably furnished for a restful night. Bedroom one has a double bed, the beautiful main bedroom has a fabulous king-size bed and bedroom three has three single beds, ideal for younger family members. The family bathroom on this floor has a bath with hand-held shower attachment. On the second floor you will find two twin bedrooms and a shower-room. These bedrooms have limited head height due to being in the eaves of the building and are interconnecting and share the shower-room which can be accessed from either bedroom.
Outside to the front Mallards has parking for two small cars and additional parking is available on the roadside. To the rear, there's an enclosed garden laid to lawn and surrounded with mature shrubs, perfect for the family dog and kids to let off steam.
There are bedrooms on the first and second floor, however for safety reasons the second floor must not be used by those with limited mobility. Mallards sleeps eight in total with flexibility of bedrooms.

This was a lovely spacious property, very well located in the centre of Seaview. We will return next year for sure.
Mrs Banks
We loved Mallards so much - really comfortable, fantastic location and we're really hoping to come back next year!
Mrs Browne
The house is a great size and in a fantastic location. We had a fabulous holiday.
Mr Webster
Classic Cottages have been a great help over the past several years of booking holiday houses on the Isle of Wight. Thank you all for your kind assistance over the years and your continued help.
Mrs Carway
Mallards is a lovely place for a fairly large party like ourselves, with lots of space for both sleeping and daytime use. The garden is lovely and sunny and the house itself is really well equipped. We’ll be booking for next year again, sure as eggs is eggs!!
Mr Short
Amazing family home near the water and central to most beaches
Mrs Carway
This is the perfect cottage for us, there's lots of room and lots of rooms; the garden is perfect for the times in between popping to either of the beaches , which are close enough to be able to whip back when a toilet break is needed!
Mr Reeve
The seafront is very close by. We loved watching the boats and there is a small nature reserve nearby. It's easy to walk to Ryde and towards St Helens.
Mrs Carway
This is a great house, in a brilliant location in our favourite place in the Isle of Wight. The fact we want to return every year must speak more than words!
Dr Meguid
Lovely, well furnished and cared for property.
Mr Walford
A great house that instantly felt like a home. There were seven of us over three generations and it was far from crowded in the living and bedrooms. Very clean and tidy throughout and the garden was perfect for our children. I loved the nautical themed decor throughout and could have spent a day just looking at pictures on the wall, books on shelves and all the ornaments. Seaview is a wonderful place to stay, we had two days on the beach, a short walk from the Mallards and ate at the Old Fort on the front, all well worth visiting. Seaview may be lacking traditional seaside entertainment and a choice of places to eat but we knew this prior to booking and used it as a base to explore other areas of the east coast all very easy to get to. I strongly recommend both the Mallards and Seaview as a place to stay..
Mrs Martin
Very well stocked when we arrived eg toilet paper.
Mrs Carway
This is a lovely, homely feeling cottage, with loads of great things about it. It’s spacious, with lots of seating and also a lovely garden. We couldn’t fault it at all!
Mrs Donaghy
We like Mallards-it feels homely. Little touches like the family board games and books helped keep our two small children occupied. Having access to a washing machine etc helps when you are staying with children! The garden is a perfect size to play in but all visible from the house, and plenty of bathrooms for larger groups staying. We also like Seaview as a location. It has pretty much everything we need, and we'd love to visit again. We had a fantastic time, was our second year staying at Mallards and we would happily return
Mrs Lewalter
We absolutely loved this house. We spent two weeks with our three children here and had a few friends come to visit (the reason we rented such a big place) and loved having such a spacious house. The house has a real family home to it. The interior design (choice of colours, pictures and paintings on the wall) is bold, cheerful and warm. The beds were comfy, the house as well-equipped as we know it has to be with Classic. The location is ideal - just a couple of minutes to the sea at Seaview. Seaview is a real pearl with its lovely beach (great for sandcastle-building and crabbing) and has a fantastic and popular pub (The Old Fort). If we visit the Isle of Wight again I would definitely want to return to this lovely, huge house.
