Best location on the Isle of Wight. Beautiful large garden with several sheltered spots to relax, read and sunbathe. A superb pizza oven for a fun pizza night. Excellent large barbecue. Table tennis in the garden. National Trust walks from the door. Bright and airy house. Very comfortable beds. All you could want.
Mr Russell
Our second visit to this stunning, spacious house with three large, en-suite bedrooms. The house is immaculate; beautifully styled in a modern, 'New England' fashion - full of beautiful and quirky things to see. The rooms are flooded with light. The site is perfect, overlooking the countryside and sea, with cliffs at Freshwater Bay. Garden is very well landscaped with plants and large lawn area, including an outdoor table tennis area, fire pit, barbecue and pizza oven. The owner has taken a great pride in this fairly new, stylish house and it contains everything for a family stay. No neighbours to trouble you and so many places to visit within easy reach.

Mrs Bucher
Phill is a star! This house that he built house could not have been more suitable for the 4 of us during the half term week. The children even had their own rooms which they were very happy about. The house has everything you need. The children 11, 12 loved making Pizza in the pizza oven. We had fires every night in the log burner. We played lots of shuffle board which Phill will introduce you to! We took our 6 month old lab who loved all the walks along the foot paths and down on the beach, there is even an outside tap for rinsing him off. The local pubs served delicious food and beverages. We did lots of site seeing and surfing lessons which was great fun. The views form the house are idyllic! I would highly recommend this house if you can find a slot where it is not booked out!
Mrs Collins
The property probably exceeded our expectations It was beautifully furnished, had a wonderful location and the kitchen was the best equipped I’ve ever stayed in. The owner could not have been more helpful. He met us at the property, took us around and explained everything. He gave us helpful tips on shopping, places to visit and even directed us to where to find the dinosaur footprints on the beach. The garden was a delight and we were even instructed to help ourselves to the apples and vegetables growing in the garden I would happily revisit this property and recommend to friends
Mrs Renshaw

A beautiful cottage in a wonderfully scenic area, a true country retreat! The cottage had everything we needed from the amply kitted out kitchen to the pizza oven, bbq and fire pit outside! The children and dogs thoroughly enjoyed the garden and we soaked up the beautiful views and sunsets. The owner Phil was very helpful and welcoming too, all in all, a fantastic base for exploring the Isle of Wight!
Mrs Hargreaves
Flackstead is a beautiful property in an amazing location. Phil was there to greet us and show us around and helped us find local restaurants and places to go as well. We made use of all the facilities including the pizza oven..which I loved! We could not fault our holiday and the whole family enjoyed it.....although if you could try to improve the weather in future, that'd be much appreciated! Thanks for a really wonderful stay. Sarah

Mr Dickson
If you are looking for a perfect property for the very active to the not so active Then this is the place to suit all Perfectly designed with every need provided
Mr Russell
Loved the open plan, spacious, 'New-England' style design. The grounds were also exceptional with the added bonus of the outdoor table tennis area and the fire-pit. The family really enjoyed the sense of freedom the property gives. A short walk across the field to the beach. The interior was immaculate - including downstairs/ bedrooms/ showers/etc. The attention to detail and the artistry and artwork displayed around the house was a feast for the eyes! The owner had left a food hamper for us on arrival and the whole property was stocked for every need. Quite a stunning property. Lovely food at The Sun Inn, Hulverstone, if required. The kitchen was fantastic - with the folding open door, looking out to the coast. It was a struggle to go out each day because we enjoyed the house and grounds so much - especially the fire pit in the evenings. The owner was kindness itself and charming to meet and talk to. You offer a premier service which thankfully offers real people to talk to at the end of a phone.
Ms Meadows
