Reviews
Tucked away on a working sheep farm close to the coast and the medieval towns of Rye and Winchelsea, this peaceful escape is surrounded by beautiful farmland and scenic footpaths including the 1066 Country Walk.

Newly renovated, The Old Tractor Shed is a single-storey detached holiday home that sits in the middle of the farm and has been sympathetically converted to offer a blend of modern comforts, rural charm and a welcoming space for all to enjoy.

The main door opens into a light and spacious open plan living area with vaulted ceiling, and a beautifully equipped kitchen that's perfect for rustling up a culinary spread whilst interacting with the rest of the party.

Double doors open to an enclosed courtyard equipped with a table and chairs for open-air entertaining. The courtyard is not overlooked but sits behind the owners' house with a view of the stable yard, where you may be lucky to see the horses when they are not grazing in the nearby fields.

Located on the edge of the High Weald National Landscape (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) it has some of the darkest skies in the south east and is a magical place for stargazing.

When the night draws to an end, there are two bedrooms along the corridor; a beautifully dressed king-size double with en suite bathroom and a twin room suitable for both adults and children which has access to a shower-room.

Wake up to the sounds of nature, ready to explore what the Sussex coast and countryside has in store for you. Pop on your hiking boots and get ready to explore a plethora of footpaths from the doorstep including the 1066 Country Walk. You can also walk to a couple of pubs - The Queens Head in Icklesham or The Royal Oak and The Two Sawyers in the next village in Pett.
