Lantern Cottage is one to remember with its lovingly crafted interiors, character features, spacious living and in a perfect location for exploring Glastonbury and the surrounding areas.

This unique five bedroom home-from-home is perfect for family gatherings, celebrations or just couples looking for a Glastonbury adventure, and of course your four-legged friends are always welcome.

With bedroom views of Glastonbury Tor (about a one mile walk) and town on your doorstop as well as the famed Abbey it really couldn’t be in a better spot.

The cottage is approached via the lovely garden and straight into the striking dining-room with a huge table, ideal for hearty feasts and the perfect gathering and socialising spot. Off the dining-room is the gorgeous kitchen with plenty of preparation areas and all the appliances you would expect from such a luxury space. With an abundance of natural light, views out to the garden and best of all a wonderful warming Aga, the kitchen is the highlight of this home. Off the kitchen you will find a large utility and the all-important downstairs cloakroom.

Back through the dining-room you will find the double-sized sitting-room which is packed with character features, plenty of comfy seating options and a very welcoming wood-burner for those chilly days hunkered down. It really is exceptionally cosy and no doubt you will spend many a happy hour in here.

Venturing upstairs you will find a light-filled landing with five individually styled bedrooms to chose from. Starting to the right you will find a large and wonderfully peaceful room with a king-size bed and storage. The next room is a good sized single before you reach a very impressive light-filled third bedroom with lots of lovely styling and a very luxurious en suite shower-room. The bed here is another very tempting king-size.

Moving around you will find yet another large and bright double bedroom with lovely views over the garden and a magical view of the Tor. What a spot to wake up to with a coffee and an iconic view. Finally, you will find the delightful fifth bedroom with a light and bright dual-aspect, a sumptuous king-size bed and more of those captivating garden and Tor views.

Sitting between these final two bedrooms you will discover a stylish family bathroom featuring a deep bath (with yet more views of the Tor!) and a large shower cubicle. It is a very well finished space.

The sunny garden is also not to be missed with plenty of quiet spots to sit and dwell and perhaps enjoy a few glasses of something nice on the patio. There is off-road parking for two cars which is accessed via the double gates (there is more free parking is on the road outside).
