Great care and attention has been put into this barn conversion, resulting in a truly cosy, yet spacious retreat for couples or solo travellers to enjoy. Located in Gillingham in north Dorset it is a prime spot to venture out from by car, or on foot, to some of the most popular locations the counties have to offer.

Kingfishers is positioned at the end of a short row of newly converted outbuildings within the grounds of a working farm, ensuring a truly rural and authentic space. There is a small step up to the front door and then it's mostly set on one level, you'll enter into a welcoming open plan living, kitchen and dining space with its exposed brickwork, featuring a wonderful wood-burning stove. You will immediately feel at home and look forward to cosying up on the sofa after a day exploring the local countryside.

You have a choice of living space, as beyond the open plan living-room you will find a spacious conservatory with lots of natural light and a great spot for your four-legged friends to bed down. There is a small step down into the conservatory with beautiful rural views over the enclosed, private garden and patio space, complete with outdoor seating for you to soak in the surroundings and while away the hours in this blissful slice of farming life.

Heading back inside you will find a large bedroom off the open plan living space with a glorious king-size bed. From here, is a well-crafted en suite with a large shower enclosure with rainfall shower head and a handheld attachment.

The property is surrounded by open countryside for you and your canine companions to roam and explore to your hearts' content. There are also two well positioned private parking spaces outside the property and a long private road/track to Kingfishers, some parts of which are unmade with a few bumps; guests with low-slung vehicles may want to take a slower pace.
