Tucked away in a blissfully tranquil hamlet within the rugged beauty of far west Cornwall, Mowhay Barn is a rather special getaway. Sleeping eight, this spacious and comfortable barn is a wonderful choice for your Cornish escape, and perfect for a family holiday at any time of the year.

Step inside to discover your oh so lovely living space, with a cosy sitting-area and a table and chairs, ideal for relaxing after supper, playing a board game and browsing through the fabulous selection of books. The main sitting-room is a lovely spot to hide away - fire up the wood-burner and enjoy those cosy evenings in. From there, head into the gorgeous country-style kitchen which has everything you might need for mealtimes, along with a dining-table for enjoying your delicious holiday feasts.

Bedroom one, a king-size double, is on the ground floor and has an en suite shower-room. Head upstairs to find three other pretty bedrooms, sure to provide a restful night's sleep. Bedroom two is a lovely king-size room, bedroom three is a double and bedroom four is a twin, all are beautifully decorated with lots of lovely, colourful touches throughout. There's also a family bathroom on the first floor, ideal for washing off sandy toes and salty hair after a day by the sea.

The outside space is a real treat. The spacious large garden is a simply lovely place to enjoy a sumptuous breakfast in the sunshine, spend blissful afternoons relaxing with a good book and dreamy evenings unwinding as the sun sets.

Mrs Campbell

Mowhay Barn was brilliant for our three generations family holiday. We had lots of space in the house and the garden was perfect for children to play in as well as for adults to enjoy drinks and meals outside. It was a great location, with several lovely beaches nearby, as well as Penzance and St Just.

Ms Raphael Reed

Mowhay Barn is in a lovely part of Cornwall close to excellent beaches and amazing cliff walks. Really suited our party with grandparents on ground floor en-suite room and children and parents on first floor. The barn has been very well restored and is very comfortable. We especially appreciated the decor, art work and pottery pieces. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Mrs Holubecki

An inviting, welcoming and generously proportioned home with lots of cosy spaces to relax in. We mostly ate in to enjoy the atmosphere of the lovely dining room.

Dr Maclachlan

What a stunning property near to Lands End, Minack, beaches galore and Penzance. We had a terrific stay at Mowhay Barn and would recommend. The kitchen was stocked with everything keen cooks would need.

Mrs Weiss-Lijn

A spacious and tastefully decorated property with everything one may need on a family holiday. Lots of space for 2 families (4 children) and very close to Porthcurno beach and Sennan cove, both spectacular but Sennan has wonderful facilities in the form of a surf school, wet suit/board rentals and excellent life guards (best I've seen in a while). Note that this property is in a very small hamlet called Trebehor and not in St. Levan and you do not have footpaths going to the beach, but you do have some walking trails around the interior. The Minack theatre is a quick drive away and truly spectacular. The whole area provides much to see and do. The main downside was that the house backed onto a disused warehouse of some kind with old tyres, but even this didn't detract from the comfort of the house and beauty of the area.

Mrs Howard

well located and tranquil. spacious and well stocked kitchen and plenty of games and dvds for rainy days
