Yellow Blossom Cottage

Each front-facing window of this spotlessly clean, country cottage, frames the view of St Michael's Mount, out in the bay. From the patio, we listened to the the sound of the babbling brook, tumbling its way to the sea in the adjacent woods, where shafts of sunlight broke through the leafy canopy, highlighting the carpet of wild garlic and bluebells beneath. We did manage to tear ourselves away from this gorgeous home and visit some stunning beaches: At Porthkidney, we had the enormous, sandy beach almost to ourselves. High up above Porthcurno, we watched the tide receding, revealing the yellow-white sand of pristine coves, many metres below. Not least of all, we sat by the rock pools in Mousehole, watching the birds diving for fish as we enjoyed our lunch. Peace and tranquility by the bucket full, yet so close to all that you might need in this beautiful cottage - and idyllic part of the world.

We had a lovely stay at Yellow Blossom Cottage. It is 5 minutes from everything you need. Whilst also being remote, peaceful and rural. Perfect mix! The view is stunning and healing. We all felt totally rejuvenated after our stay. All furnishings are of a high quality. Beds are very comfortable. Linen is high quality cotton. Towels are thick and soft. Kitchen has everything, great washing line. Came home with all washing done! We have already booked our return!

Yellow Blossom is a gorgeous cottage, with a lovely garden, fabulous view and is in an excellent location for exploring West Penwith. The cottage is clean, tide, cosy and comfortable. The house and garden keepers do a fantastic job. We're already booked for 2025 again, which will be our 5th year in a row at Yellow Blossom, so I think that speaks for itself!

A wonderful week at Yellow Blossom Cottage. The cottage is set at the top of a lane and has wonderful views and is a very peaceful location. The cottage is beautiful - is very comfortable and cosy and very well equipped. A lovely garden too, to enjoy the amazing views.

This is a wonderful cottage with a spectacular view overlooking St Michael's Mount. The cottage is very well equipped, and was very comfortable. We had poor spring weather but the cottage was a cosy retreat on the wet and windy days. I expect the garden would be lovely on a nice day. We would come back without hesitation.

Wonderful cottage full of charm in such a peaceful and beautiful location. Wonderful view of St.Michaels Mount. A great choice if you want tranquility as well as being a short drive from amenities. The White Heart Pub, which is a 5 min drive away, serves lovely food, Sunday lunch was superb. The Tremenheere sculpture gardens are at the bottom of the lane, 2 mins drive from the cottage or a few mins walk from the back gate of the cottage, turn left. The cafe there also serves incredible food and should not be missed. Would definitely return to Yellow Blossom Cottage.

Fantastic cottage in a secluded location really comfortable beds lovely kitchen with everything you need great to have a washing machine particularly in winter , views of st Michael Mount from all rooms would love to stay in the summer , highly recommend

This was our first stay in Yellow Blossom Cottage. It is such a lovely place. The surroundings are peaceful and the views are stunning. This was just what we needed for a relaxing holiday. We are definitely looking forward to coming back.

A truly beautiful comfortable cottage which although feeling quite remote is within easy reach of nearby villages pubs and restaurants, penzance is but a short drive away, yellow blossom cottage is a very tranquil place and it's lovely to sit in the garden of a morning breakfasting whilst overlooking St Michael's Mount, breathtaking!

Truly exceptional. We adored everything. The views are truly breathtaking. The peace and tranquility amazing. The cottage is well appointed, charming and very comfortable. Lots of beautiful walks. Great for runners/hikers/yogis and those seeking solitude yet with the benefit of all facilities nearby. Yellow Blossom Cottage was absolutely everything I had hoped for and more. Absolutely perfect little cottage with amazing view from every room and the garden. It’s also in a great location for local walks and exploring further afield.

So beautiful and quiet and the views are tremendous, you could sit all day and not get board, just listening to the birds is delightful.

We had a wonderful stay here - we were incredibly lucky with the weather and enjoyed spending time in the early evening sat in the garden looking at the fabulous view of St Michaels Mount. A very comfortable and clean cottage in a peaceful location yet only a few miles from Penzance or St Ives.

Beautiful cottage, beautiful view and ideally situated. Being down a private track makes this a lovely quiet retreat and such a lovely garden looking out on St Michael's Mount. The cottage is cosy and the decor is lovely.

Good location and a great family cottage but be aware of stairs.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cosy little cottage (with very steep stairs). Fabulous location. No neighbours, just the owls at night. Great views out to sea and St Michael's Mount. Plenty of space in the garden and walks from the door for us and the dog. Easy access to many places. Hope to return one day.

Yellow blossom cottage is a beautiful characterful cottage with a lovely feeling of seclusion whilst being within a stones throw of penzance and the lovely villages of gulval and ludgvan, the coldstreamer pub in gulval is well worth a visit to try the wonderful food in a friendly atmosphere

The pictures of the cottage don't do it justice, the views are superb, extremely well equipped ,and the bedding and furnishings well chosen. All in all a lovely holiday comfortable holiday cottage!

In a world which is full of stresses and strains. This little cottage where peace and tranquillity reign is the most wonderful antedote.

Stunning views of Mounts Bay, wonderful garden to eat and sit in, plenty of shade for hot days. Using the road through Gulval gets you quickly into Longrock and Penzance, and close to supermarket. The cottage itself is basic but adequate, and the amazing weather we enjoyed there meant we were hardly ever inside it.

It was our tenth stay at yellow blossom cottage and it won't be our last, a lovely location and a beautiful cottage within easy reach of penzance and all that it offers, particularly liked the coldstreamer at gulval which provides lovely food and beers in a relaxed atmosphere

Beautiful cottage with stunning views that were even better than we expected. From the moment we pulled up on the drive to the minute we left we had a brilliant week. Wonderful cottage with beautiful view and excellent location for exploring south Cornwall. A little difficult to find using the Sat Nav but good descriptions/directions given by Classic Cottages. Isolated location was very appealing for a peaceful break while still close to local amenities. The welcome pack with contact/emergency details, guides and discount vouchers to local attractions was very helpful and company service was impeccable. Cleanliness was excellent and the housekeeper was very helpful and extremely quick to respond to a minor enquiry. We had a very comfortable stay and we would very much like to return in the future. Highly recommended.

Lovely comfortable cottage with magical view. The outside space is excellent for recreational games and woodland walk is full of plants and birdsong. Something for everyone.

Stunning, unrestricted views of St Michaels Mount from all rooms (and the garden) of this exceptionally well maintained characterful cottage. Wood-burner added a cosy feel to the sitting-room. Very clean and well-equipped throughout with all mod-cons. Situated in a very peaceful setting, overlooking the bay.

Yellow Blossom is just a delightful place to stay, from the moment you walk in to find a super-clean, bright, warm nicely maintained and equipped house with a generous welcome pack and flowers on the table, to the moment when you sadly lock the door behind you at the end of your holiday. This is our third visit and we hope to make many more. I noticed lots of nice improvements in the garden! Superb location, just a few steps down the track and you're into a magical bluebell wood. Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens within easy walking distance, and then there's THAT view of the Mount from all the front windows. We had a fantastic week - thank you!

Under the unexpected situation with the water problem and the knock-on effect, it's difficult to know how to write a review! However, despite the inconvenience at the time, my family loved their week at Yellow Blossom and their memories are of a very happy and special time together in this lovely cottage.

Lovely cottage in great condition. Our first holiday in Cornwall and we loved the area and the cottage which is set in a really quiet location with wonderful views. We will be coming back to Yellow Blossom cottage and highly recommend it.

peaceful and relaxing holiday

Classic Cottages always come up to expectations. Have had holidays in five different properties, all good.

The cottage is a very lovely clean and cosy place to stay ,great veiws , and very peaceful. make sure you take your wellies so you can go out even if its raining ,as there is a lovely wood to walk in with a stream and foot paths everywhere . our dog loved the garden , we enjoyed watching lots of differant wildlife from the stabledoor .enjoyed our stay very much .

We had a very good holiday. The cottage was lovely and cosy and warm. The view was excellent (except in the fog). Very well situated for visiting all around the far west.

Waking up and looking out of the window to be greeted by the fantastic sight of clear blue sea and St Michaels Mount is a view that cannot be beaten! The photos do not do it justice! See it for yourselves!

The cottage is in a very quiet location and has fantastic views over Mounts Bay which have a great appeal, however the owners need to address the access/parking issues and employ a gardener to provide an attractive and tenant user friendly garden.

This is a charming, very well equipped cottage with a beautiful garden and the most wonderful views of St Michaels Mount. We loved the wildlife round the cottage too - lots of rabbits, a pheasant or two, a local hawk and a stoat.

A lovely property - the photographs don't do it justice. The views of St Michaels Mount are wonderful. Perfect for staying with a dog - the property is quiet, away from busy roads, with a lovely walk through woods right beside the house. It is so close to both St Ives and Marazion, and all the beautiful beaches in the area. We will definitely return!

Wonderful peace and tranquility surrounding this lovely cottage.

A cosy, whitewashed cottage surrounded by woods and farmland on the top of a Cornish hill - with views of St Michael's Mount to boot. This property was glorious in the sunshine, with beaches and supermarkets a couple of miles down the hill. We had a great time exploring and one week wan't enough. We'll be back next year for a fortnight!
