Mounts Bay Cottage
Nestled in a quaint Cornish hamlet, a 15 minute stroll will take you to the sandy beach of Perranuthnoe and further along you will reach the breathtaking St Michael's Mount. Mounts Bay Cottage is a snug barn conversion offering the perfect coastal retreat. Sleeping up to four guests plus a furry friend, the charming, stone-built exterior opens into a warm inviting space, featuring a cosy, open plan living area with exposed beams and wood-burner to warm your toes by on winter evenings.
The area is one of outstanding natural beauty, a walker's paradise and from this delightful cottage you can follow the South West Coast Path with its sea views and rugged cliff trails which are just waiting to be explored. Pack your binoculars as wildlife is plentiful, perch yourself on the cliffs and admire the sweeping views of the Atlantic and listen to the cries of the seabirds, the Cornish coastline is rich with biodiversity and a captivating setting for birdwatching.
Once inside this welcoming home you enter an open plan living area, all recently renovated to offer a touch of luxury with traditional charm. With a newly fitted kitchen to cook up a feast, a cosy sofa to sink into, you can rest yourself after a day's exploring and snuggle up and light the fire. Along the hall with its deep filled window seats, there are two cosy bedrooms. The first with its sumptuous king-size bed and the second with two single beds, separated by a newly fitted bathroom complete with power shower.
Outside is a private courtyard with seating and a charcoal barbecue, ideal for al fresco dining, catch the last of the sun here and share the day's adventures. This space is not enclosed, so please be mindful of small children and your doggy. There is also a games-barn with table-tennis. Mrs Hall
Beautiful cottage in remote setting. Easy to find though and close enough to amenities but would definitely need a car to get supplies. Modern and very clean interior. Very comfortable bed and excellent shower. Would stay again.
Mrs LEVANS
We had a comfortable stay in a very well maintained cottage. Ideal for an older couple or for a small family. The games room would have been useful if we had brought children or grandchildren with us. There were several scenic walks to the villages and beach, with refreshments available.
Mr Wilson
A comfortable cottage, cosy and nicely decorated. Good parking (for one vehicle). Lovely bed! Quiet, with a convenient location for beaches, country walks and local facilities (supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, galleries, takeaways).
