Tucked away in the very heart of Marazion, 1 Chapel Cottage is a sweet, Grade II Listed, characterful cottage which offers a wonderful coastal escape for four guests, with historic St Michael's Mount just a stone's throw away.

The cottage is accessed down time-worn granite steps, beautifully framed by a Listed iron railing, set slightly back from the road. Inside you are welcomed with a bright, open plan, well considered space with ancient beams rich with age and character, a reminder of the buildings heritage. The well appointed kitchen has all you need to cook a feast for the family and a breakfast-bar provides a relaxed spot to enjoy social meals whilst planning the day's adventures. A wood-burner creates the perfect backdrop for cosy evenings snuggled on the sofa watching a good film, reading a book or simply enjoying a glass of wine after blustery coastal walks. Dogs are welcome too, making this a comforting, year-round retreat.

Upstairs the cottage offers two beautifully presented bedrooms, a king-size (mind your head on the overhead beams) and the second a flexible 'zip and link', ideal for couples, friends or families. A luxurious modern bathroom completes the upper floor with a bath and overhead shower in a calm, contemporary finish.

To the rear of the sweet cottage, a low cottage door opens into the private courtyard, furnished for outdoor dining, lazy afternoons and a barbecue for easy summer suppers. It’s an ideal place to unwind listening to the Atlantic Ocean just behind you as the evenings draw in. You will also find the utility-room housed in an outbuilding.
