With 3 bedrooms, Santa Rosa is a self catering holiday cottage providing a perfect base for exploring the Isle of Man. Close to public transport links, the Manx Electric Railway, the famous Douglas Bay Horse Tramway, and Douglas Promenade where the bus stops frequently with direct routes to the Sea Terminal and the airport, this is a great property if you don't have your own transport.

Douglas, the islands capital has a great choice of restaurants, pubs and coffee shops. For motorsport fans the cottage is also located close to the world famous Isle of Man TT circuit.

The cottage itself faces south, with stunning panoramic sea views from most rooms. The outside seating area provides a sun trap, watch activity on the promenade below with the trams coming and going from the Manx Electric Railway and Douglas Bay Horse Tramway. Directly opposite Santa Rosa is the lovely Summerhill Glen, which provides a scenic walk and has illuminated features at night.

At the bottom of Summer Hill is Paramount City Coffee House, a former nightclub which has been recently refurbished. Visit here and savour the relaxing atmosphere and excellent coffee, made using Conrod Coffee Co. beans.

For motorsport fans the cottage is located close to the world famous Isle of Man TT circuit. A popular choice with business travellers also, the property is located close to the islands financial and e-gaming industry. There is a bus stop close by with direct routes to the Sea Terminal and the airport.

Whilst Santa Rosa does not have its own private parking, it is possible to stop immediately outside to unload, free and convenient parking is available on the promenade just a minute or two's walk away.

Lounge area: Two comfortable sofas, table, four chairs, TV with Amazon Firestick, DVD player, electric fire.

Kitchen: Well equipped, microwave, fridge/freezer, oven, ceramic hob, washing machine, fold-out table and two chairs. These chairs can be used with the four from the lounge.

Bathroom: Shower over bath, WC and hand wash basin

Cupboard under stairs: Tumble dryer

Outdoor Area: There is a small gravelled seating area with folding garden chairs

First Floor

Bedroom 1: Double bed, fitted wardrobes, dressing table, bedside tables and lamps.

Bedroom 2: Double bed, hanging rail, bedside tables and lamps.

Bedroom 3: Single bed, hanging rail, bedside table and lamp.

Bathroom: WC and hand wash basin.

General

Parking: Free on-road parking is available a short walk from the property on the promenade.

EV Charging: Not available at the property, however, there are a number of charging points found a short distance away on Douglas promenade.

Pets: Up to 2 dogs accepted (please be aware of road outside property although it is enclosed with garden gate).

Changeover Day: Flexible, arrival 4:00pm - departure 10:00am

Power and Heating: Electricity and heating included in rent.

Bedding and Linen: Bed linen & towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.

Important: It is important to note that there is no pavement outside the property and extra care must be given when crossing this road due to the house's position. This is especially important if children are a member of the party.

Damage: Important! We are committed to protecting our properties which is why we now take a £35 fee from each booking as a damage waiver. This is included in the price you pay and covers you for up to £500 worth of accidental damages to the property that could occur whilst you are staying.

Glorious views . Walking distance to all the amenities . Comfortable and well equipped

Perfect location for family of five, with three teenagers. Just walked and bussed everywhere and was so easy. Girls spent every evening up in Onchan whilst we checked out local eateries and bars... And again, local is the key word. Everywhere was in walking distance

Our second time with Island Escapes and we were pleased with the service and our rental. Santa Rosa is a lovely house in a great location with trams and buses virtually on the doorstep, just a short walk uphill but nothing too strenuous. The house is comfortable and has everything we needed to enjoy our holiday. We did find a few things that could be better, the outside furniture doesn't have proper cushions only some kept outside that look like they could do with updating and one of the seats is broken. We did find some unwashed crockery and oven pans but as we didn't eat at the property much this didn't affect our stay. Also could do with pillow protectors, as none of the ones we used had them on. Thank you Island Escapes for your help and reliable service, we'd recommend this company.

All good except for no parking on site. Also house is situated on a main road blind bend and also an up hill walk from the prom parking area.
