Ms Winter

The perfect fisherman's cottage experience in beautiful St Ives. Would recommend to couples or young families who don't mind small cosy accommodation. Perfect location, A stone's throw away from the beach, Island and harbour time. Would need to organise parking if travelling by car.

Mrs Bower

Great location, if you don't mind struggling to find car parking and then climbing a very steep path with steps, to and from the car park.

Mr Gillman Pope

Lovely stay at St Eia... The perfect base for beach, town and cosy evenings in... Small but perfectly formed and exceeded my expectations...

Mr Hewstone

Location is hard to beat, but don't expect luxury. The cottage is perfectly fine, but like many of the 'bolt holes' it's small and functional.

Mrs Gascoyne

We loved our stay at 23 The Digey - St Eia. It has the perfect location only a few steps to walk to the beach and straight down in the opposite direction to forestreet and the harbour. It is small but perfectly formed and fitting for our small family. Would highly recommend and we would definitely rebook this cottage again.

Miss Giacalone

Our stay at St Eia was lovely. Perfect size for two people, however I wouldn’t recommend for any other party size as it is quite small but perfect for two.
The location is perfect, so close to the beautiful Porthmeor beach and the shops of St. Ives.

The house was clean and tidy and felt comfortable. We stayed for a long weekend and had everything we needed in the house. It’s close to Norway stores for getting groceries.

My one improvement would be the radiators were a bit dusty and could do with a thorough clean.

Overall, I had a very pleasant stay at 23 The Digey and would definitely stay here again if I was travelling as a party of two.

Mrs Dobson

This property is all about location. But that does mean it's very busy outside the door. Crowds from 8am until midnight!! It was school holidays and lovely weather.
The kitchen is lovely, the bathroom could really benefit from a refit.
It really is quite small but we managed ok with 2 young children.

Mr Atkinson

We have been staying in Aspects properties for close to ten years now, and this was the worst property we have stayed in by far. Appreciate all cottages in Downalong are small/ish. But this is really tiny, not even really suitable for a family of four for living space.
The photos make it seem significantly bigger than it is.
The decor is very tired and could do with a refresh. The sofa smelt quite unpleasant, and overall it didn't feel particularly clean or well maintained.

Bit disappointed, we still had a lovely holiday, but found we were actively avoiding spending time in the cottage.

Mrs Lainchbury

A cute cottage p, small but great for two people.
Really close to beaches and shops.
The stairs would be tricky for an older couple we found the rope was not enough for us to balance......a solid stair rail would have been easier for us.

Mrs Elliott

St Eia is a lovely compact property in a fantastic location. It might feel very compact for four people but for the two of us it was great. Comfortable bed and furnishings and mostly everything you’d need.
No hair drier (but can get one from the Aspects office a short two minute walk away) and would be good if wind breaks were provided as Porthmeor beach can get quite breezy!

Ms Reynolds

Our stay at 23 The Digey was absolutely fantastic. The cottage itself was charming, homely, well equipped and decorated to a high standard in keeping with the property style. However it's most outstanding feature is the location, just seconds from the nearest beach and within a couple of minutes of shops, bars, restaurants and museums. We really appreciated the tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival, such a thoughtful gesture. Overall the cottage was amazing and it seems petty to mention the following, however it may help someone decide whether the property is suitable for their needs.

Just a couple of small problems, if you like it dark when you sleep you might want to check whether the blind has been changed before booking as the streetlight opposite is very bright and illuminates the bedroom where the blind doesn't overlap the edges of the window.
Secondly, due to the lack of a solid handrail on the stair wall this property may not be suitable if you have mobility issues, I have arthritis in my knees and hips and found I had to be quite creative to get up and down safely.

Thank you for a lovely stay.

Mrs Smith

Absolutely perfect location
Unsuitable for children, elderly and people with disabilities.
Cleanliness was not up to standard.
Had a wonderful holiday

Mr Wilde

We had a wonderful stay at 23 the Digey. The location is perfect and the beach couldn’t have been closer. We would love to come back to this cottage. It has everything you need for a lovely family holiday.

Mr Lammas

Location, location, location! Beautifully renovated, compact but very comfortable cottage in a perfect spot for everything you could want in St Ives.
It was lovely to be able to hear the waves crashing onto Porthmeor beach and be just meters away for a quick surf check!

Mrs Wright

Fantastic little cottage! We all loved our stay at St Eia! The location is perfect

Miss Penman

Lovely location but cottage Needs modernising and better cleaning

Mrs Busby

Had a perfect four night break in this gorgeous, quaint and cozy little cottage on The Digey. Perfect location for everything St.Ives has to offer. Could of stayed forever.

Ms Stacey

Lovely quaint cottage in fantastic location. Comfy bed.
However, needs cleaning properly and repaired in places. Decor very tired downstairs. Mismatched crockery was not very attractive to use. Bathroom ok but very tiny!
If these issues were resolved in the main - we would definitely return to this property.

Mrs Frere

23 The Digey is in a fantastic position, a stones throw from Porthmeor. A stroll into town and whatever the weather, a cosy little cottage to return to.

Ms Glover

Lovely cosy comfortable cottage right in the heart of St Ives, was able to walk into the harbour and to the beaches.. small but very Quentin. Beds comfortable, noisy outside as seems to be on a main strip for cutting through from the beach to the town. You can also hear people in the next cottage sounds like someone is coming up your stairs but they are next door. Stairs quite steep so for young children or elderly would need to take care.
It states on the online info that it’s ready at 3 it wasn’t had to wait outside and it was bloody raining. A guy brought towels for our weeks stay and he hadn’t even folded them just gave them me in a mound, wasn’t ready at the property.
Overall our stay was ok there, but would look for somewhere else to stay next year, as we go every year.

Mr Attwell Smith

Overall this is a lovely little cottage. It is pet friendly which can be an issue for someone who has an allergy to the dogs.

Mrs Edwards

Lovely cottage and location. Be careful with stairs especially with children. We find best to park in Island car park and take your luggage to cottage with you it's not far and better than barnoon car park. We don't use car once here as st Ives as it all. Take an outing on the train to Penzance.
Eat in Lifeboat Inn. Hubbox. Porthmeor cafe and the scoff troff cafe if you have a well behaved pooch they are all very welcoming.

Mrs Richards

Lovely little characterful cottage right in the centre of St Ives. Perfect location. The only issue we had was with the cleanliness. Change the cleaners! I had to clean the property myself when we got there. All crockery/cutlery were dirty. There was blood on the throw in the main bedroom. Cobwebs everywhere. Sand on dining table, floor and under the throw on the sofa cushions. There was a blue bucket and a dustpan and brush just left in the kitchen in the middle of the floor. This lets the property down.

Mr Fenech

great relaxing break in St Ives. We visit the area at least once a year off season to really enjoy the rugged coastline and spectacular views. Plenty of food and drink outlets to cater for all appetites and budgets. Cottages along the Digey and Downalong are in the best locations.

Mr Haywood

Once again, brilliant service from the team at aspects. Finding a property, the booking process and collecting keys couldn’t be easier, they really have taken all the hassle away.

The personal touches and helpful staff make the stay so much better and start your break off in a really positive way.

Mr Gordon

Lovely cottage great location for the beach and walking our dogs.

Mr Allan

Fabulous cozy cottage within walking distance from coastal walks ,beaches ,pubs, galleries, cake shops, and jollity .With the added pleasure of it being dog friendly.

Mrs Burridge

Lovely cottage in a great location, convenient for everything in the town. Although the cottage is small it easily accommodated the two of us and our two medium sized dogs.

Mr Beynon

A charming, cosy, traditional cottage which was perfect for our short break. Great location only yards from Porthmeor for dog walks and Fore Street for everything else. Thank you.

Mr Webster
