The cottage has an excellent location and we enjoyed being right in the centre of St Ives. The cottage was clean and very comfortable. It had everything that we needed for our stay and we had a great week in St Ives. Aspects have always been very helpful and booking has easy with them. Many thanks for helping make it a great holiday!

Lovely little cottage with everything in close proximity, right behind the Sloop. If you have mobility issues the stairs could be an issue as steep with no banister on the second set of stairs. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again, this cottage has everything you need.

6 Church Place sits right in the heart of St Ives with all the shops, pubs and places to eat all with a few minutes walk, The cottage is lovely and clean with all modern amenities.

This cottage is amazing. The location is great for all aspects of your holiday - beach, shopping, eating and drinking. We will definitely be booking again.

6 church place is in a good position, a minute to the harbour.
The beds were not very comfortable and in the top bedroom the boiler would make such a noise for around 8 minutes at 2am and 5am. Owners did say we were ok to turn this off at night.
I would not be returning to this property. We had a mild week but would imagine if colder the rooms would be cold as you only have electric heaters. The fire however do heat the downstairs lovely

6 church place was the ideal location for a family of 4 plus 2 small dogs.

We enjoyed the harbour, porthmeor beach and porthwiggan beach.

Location wise. Perfect. Next to everything you could possibly need in st ives.

Cleanliness. Perfect.

Cosiness. Spot on- the cosiest place in st ives that we have personally stayed in. (Fire, bean bags, snug, beds)

Parking/traffic. No parking which we knew at booking and we caught the train. The road is super quiet and does not see any traffic or asda delivery vans or anything like other places we have stayed! Very convenient as that can be a real bug bear of the narrow streets when navigating with dogs.

I want to personally thank the host for a lovely october holiday that was very much needed. The price was very reasonable and should we return to st ives, we will be looking at booking this place again. Our only reservations are the time it takes to journey from the Midlands and the health of our dogs, otherwise I would have definitely booked again!

Must also mention a beautiful attic room!

Proximity to the harbour and amenities are second to none. The kitchen area well equipped and a decent none stick frying pan !!!!!!

6 church place was super little cottage with easy access to st Ives harbour and town.
The cottage was very clean and although it's dog friendly you would never guess as no dog smells at all .

We had a fantastic stay at 6 Church Place. The location can’t be beaten, just seconds to the harbour and the beach. The cottage is very well presented and welcoming with everything we needed to enjoy our holiday. We will definitely return. It was really useful to be able to unload all luggage at the cottage door too.

Absolutely loved our stay with my parents at church place, so close to the harbour, we’ve been coming to Stives for years and this is one of the best places we’ve stayed, great location, really quiet surprisingly! which was great for the dogs. They also loved that we were on the beach in a hop and skip. Perfect size for 4 people for a week, beds were comfy! And we would deffo book again.

6 Church Place is in a fantastic location, literally 30 seconds from the Harbour beach. The famous Sloop pub is stumbling distance away, and the Balancing Eel chippy is facing the cottage.

You can unload your bags directly outside or park in the Sloop car park 10 metres away.

The rooms are large for a Downalong cottage and all very comfortable. Nice bed linen and towels, too. The kitchen is very well equipped and we cooked Christmas dinner there. I'd like to see a washing machine/dryer instead of a dishwasher. The shower was hot and powerful.

A negative during the colder months is the lack of central heating and radiators. Whilst there is a lovely, remote control fire in the lounge and portable electric heaters in all rooms, we did find it a little chilly. Plus, drying wet clothing is an issue (there's one heated clothes dryer). To be fair, this probably wouldn't be an issue in the Spring or Summer.

6 Church Place is a cosy little cottage right in the heart of St.Ives.
It is so well positioned for everything that you might need. 1 minute from the beach.
The stairs are little steep up to the top bedroom but ok.
The little snug on the first floor is a great little space for chilling quietly or just for an extra small space.
We enjoyed staying in 6 church place and will definitely return.

Cottage was cosy, fairly comfy and well cleaned for arrival. We found the cottage kitchen provided everything you needed except couple of minor utensil items, note no salt or pepper pots provided which we forgot to bring. There were only 2 of us so we had the 2nd floor larger bed made up as a Superking which is what we are used to, so nice big bed and quite comfy with the topper they had added.

Found the sofa's ok but fairly firm with low backs so not that comfy for any period of time. No central heating but 3 plug in radiators which we used when it got a bit chilly in the evening and a lounge gas fire which was nice, but bit difficult to control as remote had part melted.

Cottage is in a great location, ideal for taking our dog to the Harbour beach in the mornings and for all of the amenities in St Ives!

Had a great holiday in 6 Church Place. Location was brilliant & there was nothing we needed that wasn’t already in this lovely little cottage. Hoping to book again for next year & can’t wait to go again already.

Fantastic location and the perfect property for 2 couples to explore St Ives. Steep stairs within the property, which wasn’t a problem for us but worth being aware of. Very clean and well presented with comfy beds. Would happily stay here again.

A fantastic holiday cottage in a great part of St Ives

There was an issue stepping out onto the road immediately outside due to contractors vehicles speeding up and down the narrow road.A real health and safety issue,please use extreme caution!

6 Church View is a beautiful property in a perfect location to access the town and beaches.
We felt very comfortable with our two little dogs and just a stone’s throw from the harbour beach.
The cottage is modern and very clean.
There is no washing machine, which would have been useful with the inclement weather, rather than a dishwasher, which wasn’t used.
Not much passing footfall, which was nice.
If you have mobility issues, the stairs may be a bit too steep.
We had a great week here & will book it again in the future.

Lovely house to stay in. Everything you need is extremely close by. It was very clean, tidy and well equipped. Beds were very comfy too. Stairs are steep but that’s typical of the houses in this area. Would definitely come back and recommend.

6 Church Place offered our family (including a seven year old child and a small dog) the perfect holiday home for our home in St. Ives. The location is excellent, right in town and a few short steps to the harbour. The place was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc to enable us to cook our own meals. We were so pleased with it, that during the second day of our holiday we booked 6 Church Place for our next break in St. Ives. Highly recommended, especially for dog owners who want the opportunity to stay in town rather than the outskirts.

We had a wonderful week at this cottage. The location is amazing for everything St Ives has to offer. There was plenty of space for our family of 3 - parents and a young adult daughter. We had our dogs with us and it was lovely to have early morning walks on the beaches. It is also just a short walk to the beach which is dog friendly all day.

We had a fantastic holiday, one of the best weeks for weather we’ve ever had in st Ives. The cottage was lovely, perfect for a family of four, fantastic location, directly opposite the best fish and chip shop in St Ives. Overall a lovely little cottage.

What an amazing cottage! It is so close to the pubs and shops, brilliant size and has all the amenities you require. When you open your bedroom window you can hear the waves which was amazing. The beds and couches were very comfy and the shower was great. I have already booked to stay here again next year.

Such a great location, and a cosy, well equipped cottage. The fire is lovely, the snug was very popular with the children.

It had everything we needed and felt like a really indulgent holiday.

We stayed at 6 church place , this was an ideal location as l have difficulty walking long distances , it was within easy reach of beaches , cafes ,restaurants and shops.

It is in an excellent location, close to the town and also easily accessible for the beaches.
We did not hear any noise from deliveries or from the Sloop late at night as we worried we might.
