Accessibility:
Calf View is an historic building, with narrow doors, low ceilings and irregular
access paths. It is a two-storey property with two double bedrooms and one
single room. It is located on the edge of the village adjacent to visitor centre
and tearoom.
Parking:
There is one parking space for a small car on an uneven grassed and stone track approximately 35 meters from the entrance to the property.
Access to the property
From the car parking area there is approximately 35 meters of uneven pathway
to the entrance of the property. The path is narrow and includes slates,
paving, grass and three concrete steps.
There is external solar lighting along the pathway as well as lighting above the
main entrance door. It should be noted there is a slight step up (approximately 15cm) from ground
level into the property.
Ground Floor:
The kitchen, utility, living and dining rooms are on the ground floor.
First Floor:
The first floor is reached via two half flights of stairs. The width of the stairs is
approximately 75.7cm and the height of the steps are 19 cm.
The is a wooden handrail is at height 81.6cm and the stairs are carpeted.
The bathroom, 3 bedrooms and reading room are on the first floor.
It should be noted that there is a step down from the hallway into the
bathroom and one double bedroom with a heigh of approximately 15cm.
Damage waiver: We are committed to protecting our properties, which is why we take a £35 fee from each booking as a damage waiver. This is included in the price you pay and covers you for up to £500 worth of accidental damage to the property that could occur whilst you are staying.
