Reviews

Just short walk from the shimmering sandy beach and charming village of Croyde, Sandy Toes is perfectly located for a family holiday or friends looking for a Devonshire getaway and your dog is welcome to join you too!

Step inside this sweet, shiplap-clad bungalow and head for the open plan living area, with its inviting squishy sofas and two Smart TVs. The airy kitchen, decorated in bright white and neutral hues, is equipped with everything you need for a nourishing self-catering stay. You'll find an oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and even a washing machine and tumble-drier, no need to return home with holiday laundry in tow. Across from the kitchen you'll find a dining-area flooded with light from the windows and sky light, perfect for chatting about the adventures of the day around the table. The corner sofa can be set up as a double bed for two guests and the room can be partitioned off for privacy.

There are two bedrooms off the hallway including an airy bedroom with double bed, wardrobe and drawers. Bedroom two is a 'zip and link' so can be set-up as a double or twins, whichever is your preference.

The contemporary shower-room feels fresh and sleek, thanks to the intricate tiling work. Why not have a mini moment to yourself, and wash away the day in the contemporary standalone shower?

Outside there's an enclosed garden, ideal for those holidaying with children and pets. The hot tub is the place to relax after a day of adventure or pop in of a morning and watch the sun rise above the rooftops. What a way to start your day!

You'll also find a coal barbecue along with sun loungers and a large wooden picnic bench complete with sunshade, ideal for al fresco dining, perfect for those warm summer afternoons. The outside shower is also convenient for washing yourself off after the beach, or before you pop in the hot tub.

Outside there's also a shared driveway, providing space for two cars.

We had another lovely stay at Sandy Toes and it has everything we needed. By day, the property is in an excellent position for the beach or the village for the local pubs / shops, both a few minutes walk. By evening, it was lovely to relax in the hot tub and unwind from the days adventures. The photos of the property are accurate, with an enclosed garden for dogs. We recommend this property and have booked again for next year. Thank you Sandy Toes :-)

Miss Spring

Miss Tew

Great property - everything you need and close to the Croyde centre.
We enjoyed our stay and will be returning.

Ms Dick

A spacious house well equipped for 4 people and a dog. The garden is quiet, secluded and safe for dogs and is fully enclosed.
The added bonus of an outdoor warm shower after beach days is a real bonus.
Although the property was clean and well equipped, the property may be suffering from some damp issues as it has a very damp smell, particularly in the bedrooms which was very overpowering and some elements of mould showing.
