Situated in beautiful grounds just outside the medieval town of Battle and a short drive from Hastings and St Leonards-on-Sea, this delightful lodge offers a spacious holiday abode for couples, families and friends looking to stay in 1066 country.

Rockfield Lodge is attached to the friendly owners' house. It has a wonderfully spacious open plan living area that makes this a great holiday home for entertaining and making everlasting memories. The kitchen is a chef's dream with a large range oven and all you need to cook up your favourite meals whilst still interacting with the rest of the party. After dinner move to the generous lounge-area with its comfortable sofa and armchairs and watch movies together or perhaps venture into the games-area for a competitive game of darts, pool or table-tennis. The perfect space to keep everyone entertained whatever the weather.

When the time calls for bed, there are three sizeable bedrooms to choose from, all of which are thoughtfully designed with comfort in mind. On the ground floor, you will find a beautiful king-size double bedroom with direct access to a shower-room. It's perfect for guests that want to stay on one level. Sliding patio doors open to the terrace and garden, a peaceful spot for sundowners or a morning coffee.

Take the stairs which lead to an airy king-size double bedroom which enjoys views over the garden and surrounding countryside. It has an en suite bathroom and an interconnecting door opens to a twin room making this an excellent choice for friends travelling together or families with children.

Outside, the garden which is a haven for wildlife is a lovely place to sit and relax after a busy day exploring. Listen out for the tawny owls or take a stroll down to the paddock which is a beautiful space to enjoy any time of year.
