Escape to this gorgeous thatched barn, sat in the grounds of the owners' double oast house, within walking distance of Great Dixter House and Gardens. This spacious property offers superb accommodation for up to four guests and one well behaved dog, providing the perfect blend of comfort and rustic charm.

The open plan living/dining-area is a welcoming space with high ceilings and beautiful oak beams. It provides ample space to relax, dine and enjoy quality time with your loved ones.

The kitchen is fully equipped to cook a memorable meal for family and friends. The dining-area provides the perfect setting for a holiday feast whilst making plans for your days out in Sussex and neighbouring Kent.

When the time comes to turn in for the night, take the stairs to the bedrooms which sit at either end of the barn allowing peace and privacy. In the west wing, you have a gallery which overlooks the living space with bookshelves, CD player and armchairs. It leads to bedroom 1 which has a super-king size bed which can be unzipped to form twin beds if required and an en suite bathroom featuring a bath with shower attachment, WC, wash-basin and heated towel rail.

In the east wing there is a landing with chest of drawers and door leading to bedroom 2. This room has a king-size double bed which can be made into twin beds if required. It has an en suite with large shower, WC, wash-basin and heated towel rail.

Wake up refreshed and ready for the day ahead. Double doors open to a south-facing enclosed walled courtyard with water feature and barbecue. It's a peaceful spot for a morning coffee or relaxing with a good book. In addition, you have access to the owners' gardens and woodlands which are a haven for wildlife. There is an outdoor swimming pool which is sometimes available on request between May and the end of September.
