Reviews

For a rural experience stay at The Coach House, the perfect getaway for families and friends in this peaceful part of Sussex.

As you step inside the stable-door you are welcomed with stone floors, exposed beams, and a wood-burner for those chilly evenings. The separate fully-equipped kitchen (complete with butler's sink, dishwasher, microwave, and a Dolce Gusto coffee machine) is the perfect place to cook up a feast whilst enjoying your favourite tunes on Alexa.

Upstairs there is one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, both dressed in 100% Egyptian cotton linen and both bedrooms have sloping ceilings (please take care) adding to the charm and character of The Coach House. The large family bathroom is found downstairs.

The Coach House is in the grounds of the owners' lovely Grade II listed farmhouse and adjacent to three other holiday cottages: The Byre (4732), The Old Barn (4734) and The Old Stable (4733) which is ideal if you wish to holiday with friends or family and still have your own space.

Off the kitchen is a stable-door leading to the patio-area which has been beautifully planted and gives the opportunity of chatting to neighbouring guests. There is also an enclosed private garden perfect for small children and for those wanting to bring their four-legged friends.

Guests have access to a freezer, washing machine and tumble-drier which are shared with the other cottages. There is an on-site allocated parking space for The Coach House and additional parking is available on the farm.

Guests can visit the resident farm animals which include chickens, pigs, and horses. Two small or medium well-behaved dogs are most welcome but please note that dogs must be kept on a lead when they are not in their enclosed private garden.
