Sunsets (over Rinsey)

This was my second stay at Sunsets. Lovely home, lovely views & most importantly, lovely people. Looking forward to my third visit. Just a small walk to the coastal path, just right for short or long walks. Would highly recommend.

We had some gloomy weather the week we stayed at Sunsets but the accommodation was very warm and homely we didn't mind having a relaxing lye-in, the bed is very comfortable and waiting for the sun to come out which it did in the afternoons. The bathroom can rival any boutique hotel and a lovely welcome package on arrival.

Excellent place to stay, warm welcome, walks from the door, quiet and comfortable. Great place for exploring the coves, coast path and many beautiful gardens.

Kat and Pat were excellent hosts, accommodating and provided everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The cottage was beautifully furnished and location perfect to be able to enjoy Porthleven and surrounding areas

If you're looking for peace and quiet, comfort and a terrific view, look no further. Everything combines to make the perfect holiday stay, enhanced by the kindness and hospitality of Stu and Kay.

Cannot recommend this property highly enough. Situated close to Porthleven, it has wonderful walks, terrific (and dog-friendly) beach nearby (Praa sands), and a lovely sea view. Very comfortably furnished, and extremely well equipped, it has everything to make a special holiday for you and your dog!!

Lovely, extremely comfortable cottage in a great location for walks , views and peacefulness. Everything that you need for your stay is provided, and it is not far to drive to local amenities.

Fabulous accommodation, exceptionally clean, everything you need and with beautiful sea views. Lovely cliff walks on coast path a few minutes away. We would happily return here.

It was very easy booking our holiday with Classic Cottages. They emailed reminders for payment and sent a great arrival information email before we travelled. When I contacted with queries regarding the property they were very quick to respond. I would definitely use them again.

Sunsets is truly an amazing property. It has everything and more that you need for a home from home stay. The seat in the garden overlooking the sea is the perfect place to watch the sun set. Stu and Kay are fantastic hosts, there to greet you when you arrive with lots of local knowledge but are very discreet during your stay even though they live next door. We will definitely be staying again. Very close to the South West Coast path with a very easy and quick walk to Praa Sands beach. The climb down to Rinsey Cove is more of a challenge but is worth it if you are planning on being on the beach for a while.

Simply amazing!!! Sunsets is perfect for those who are looking to get away from it all. You couldn’t ask for more! It’s comfortable, well appointed and close to lots of interesting parts of Cornwall.

This was my first time using Classic Cottages but it won't be the last. The cottage I booked was as described and photographed. The cottage I stayed in "Sunsets" was well equipped definitely home from home experience, you won't be disappointed ??

Beautiful cottage ideally placed for the coastal footpath. Owners made you feel very welcome and there if needed, but didn’t intrude. Views and sunsets amazing. If you are looking for peace and tranquility it’s a great place to be.

Beautiful property in an excellent location for exploring both the south and north coast of Cornwall and the sunsets from the garden were amazing!

Perfect location overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and so close to Coastal Path. The wow factor when you walk in to Sunsets and seeing the Quirky and modern fittings, an absolute dream to stay there.

This is a great cottage for a couple or an individual. Well presented and thought about. Great location. Clean and very well equipped. Kay and Stu were very helpful and friendly. We were really happy with the cottage and are looking forward to returning.

This cute little house is beautifully placed to enjoy all that Cornwall has to offer. It sits so close to the coastal path, and, as such, enjoys a brilliant aspect and all the peace and quiet of this tiny hamlet. The silence at night, and the blackest of skies, is not something we are used to at home and so this was fabulous. If you want to escape but be able to access the coast, beach and lovely walks, this is it! The house itself is small but beautifully thought through and decorated. It’s really well equipped- you want for nothing in terms of what you might need- the kitchen especially. Loved the two large TVs - such a treat-the cosy lounge, binoculars for surveying the sea, and our Dachshund loved the sunny window seat for spying on the dogs next door. We appreciated piping hot water, great water pressure, the amazing bath, the garden and ‘sunset-watching’ seat, and feeling at home because of all the home-comforts. Thanks to the owners for the wine, milk, cream tea, flowers, and elderflower presse. Not all are so generous! As ever, Classic Cottages, you do not disappoint and that is why we love you and keep coming back!

Absolutely loved the place. Kitchen very well equipped and everywhere clean. Garden and seating areas perfect. Views, mood lighting comfortable bed; a gem of a place.

Fantastic upside down house! Sea views are mesmerising. The walk along the coast to Porthleven was hard going but the views made it worth it along with the crab sandwiches at the end. Praa sands is a beautiful beach just a 10 minute walk away. Oh and the scones jam cream & Polgoon wine was much appreciated. So much so we paid the vineyard a visit to buy more to take home.

Rinsey is a perfect location for exploring the Pendeen peninsula, the Lizard, and the north coast around Hayle and St Agnes. 'Sunsets't; is at the end of a quiet lane with terrific sea views and very little light pollution - the stars on a clear night are amazing. The cottage has excellent facilities and equipment - even a wine fridge!

Sunsets is a lovely cottage, very well equipped for your stay in Cornwall. Good location for exploring Penzance, St Ives, St Michael's, Marazion, Mousehole, Minack/Porthcurno, going on the coastal train, all things we wanted to see and do. Lovely walks nearby and glorious beaches at Praa Sands and Porthleven. Fish and chips good in Porthleven and scrumptious ice cream - Nauti but Ice - try the salted caramel! The refreshments on arrival were very welcome and thoughtful. We had not been to Cornwall before, we both really enjoyed it, will definitely recommend Cornwall and Classic Cottages to friends and family and we will hopefully return, to visit again. highly recommended even better than description, loved our stay with Doogie the labradoodle . Location just great and some lovely places to visit , liked kynance cove and st Ives.

Loved it !! We'd love to come back

This property is in an ideal location for those wanting a rural holiday. It is basically on the SW coast path, and we could walk to Rinsey cove within 10 minutes, and to Praa Sands in 20 minutes. Porthleven was a 10 minute drive away and our hub for restaurants. The cottage itself is beautiful, well furnished and extremely comfortable. The owners were on hand to answer questions and very helpful. We will definitely be coming back!

We spent a lovely week at Sunsets (over Rinsey). The location is perfect for exploring beautiful Cornwall. There are great walks on the doorstep to Porthleven/Praa Sands and Rinsey Beach. The owners have provided everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

Sunsets is in a perfect location for exploring the area. The cottage itself is beautifully appointed with everything we needed, especially with an 18 month old in tow! The wine and scones on arrival were very much appreciated!

Lovely stay at Sunsets. Walks straight from cottage. Two beaches within easy walking distance. Praa Sands cottage end (Hendra) virtually deserted but packed far Cafe end. Sea views. Great bathroom.

Great location, nicely quiet, but very well placed to local ameneties such as Porthlevin where there is a great choice of restaurants, bars and shops.
