St Michael's
If you're longing for the golden sand and turquoise waters of Portreath and a gorgeous cottage to return to at the end of the day, then look no further than St Michael's. An oh so lovely terraced coastal escape sleeping eight, St Michael's is a welcoming retreat for a family or a group of friends and is dog-friendly too and you have the bonus of your very own private parking spaces.
This delightful cottage is located on a terrace of similar cottages, a hop, skip and a jump (or a five minute stroll) from the sandy cove. Step inside to discover the restful sitting-room you can easily imagine yourself unwinding here after a day exploring this special slice of Cornwall. Pour a glass of your favourite tipple and sink into the super comfy sofas and armchairs, soak up the Moroccan vibe and admire the colourful, stylish touches throughout your lovely haven. Walk up a small slope from the sitting-room into the fabulous kitchen and dining-room which has everything you might need for cooking up a breakfast feast or preparing a picnic to take with you to the beach.
Head upstairs to discover the four comfy bedrooms. Bedroom one is a double room with an en suite shower-room. Bedroom two has a double bed and bedroom three has three single beds perfect for our younger guests who would like to have a holiday sleep over, maybe with a midnight feast too and bedroom four is a sweet single room. There's also a family bathroom, ideal for a long soak after a day of exploring.
Outside, the garden is a fabulous spot for sun-soaked dining, with a cute terrace area with a table and chairs, perfect for those sunny lunches and Cornish cream teas.

St Michaels is a lovely place to stay in portreath. The local beach on your doorstep is absolutely fantastic and is a great base to explore Cornwall. The house has everything you need and was very comfortable. Really well equipped kitchen which is great as we cooked alot. Loved the little games chest, also the welcome basket was a nice surprise. Would love to stay again one day.
Mr Weller
Lovely house, we'll appointed and very comfortable. We were concerned about parking but there was plenty of space for two cars.
Mr THOMAS
We enjoyed our stay at St Michael's very much. The owners were really helpful and accommodating. There was a very generous welcome pack on arrival, and the house was really well equipped. The beach was just an easy stroll, which was useful with young grandchildren, and they really appreciated the beach toys, and indoor games. We can thoroughly recommend this property.
Mr Morriss
Great location, less than 5 minutes walk along a little lane straight to the beach. Cottage was extremely well equipped (more than enough crockery/utensils etc) and a nice touch was a toy chest for little visitors as well as board games for adults. We were a party of 4 adults and 3 children (aged 7-2) and there was plenty of room for us all. Welcome basket of Cornish products and fresh flowers in rooms was appreciated. Garden, to the front, was beautiful and a nice place to sit at the end of the day in the sun and safe for children / grandchildren to play in. Comfortable beds and settees. Pub, Chinese takeaway, 2 eating places and a beachside kiosk all very, very close! Picturesque sandy cove beach with caves to explore at low tide. Overall fantastic holiday and cottage and location. We hope to return very soon!
Mrs Walker
a very well equipped house and close to the beach and local amenities
Mrs Jones
A comfortable cottage in a very convenient location with a pretty sun trap garden. Toy box much appreciated by our Great grandson who lives in Portreath! Generous basket of goodies. Not a lot of drawer space upstairs but a small price to pay for such a cosy warm and welcoming cottage.
Mrs Sheldon

Location is amazing, just a short walk to Portreath beach which is an absolute bonus not having to fight for a parking space! Would highly recommend & will definitely be back.

We had simply a wonderful time at St.Michael‘s. Our hosts made sure we had absolutely everything we needed. The well equipped kitchen left nothing to be desired, the comfy beds ensured great sleep, the close by beach offered great bodyboarding and surfing opportunities. We can only recommend this cottage!

Beautiful property, the owner was incredibly helpful when we arrived. The property itself felt like home from home, well laid out with everything you would need for your holiday, including the most wonderful hamper, just beautifully designed throughout. The lovely beach was a short stroll away, nice places to eat locally, we especially liked the Porthreath Arms! Just a perfect place to kick back and relax, thank you Barry and Katie we will return!
