Little Jenny Wren
A cosy retreat for a romantic getaway close to the River Helford, this cute cabin has far reaching views across the Cornish countryside and is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The open plan layout allows the day to effortlessly flow; enjoy a long breakfast in bed perhaps with the fire crackling on a winter's eve or a luxurious brunch at the dining-table looking over the valley with the doors open and the spring birdsong delighting your ears. The bed is tucked around the corner for a tranquil night's sleep with just the owls and lowing cows to keep you company.
The owners have lovingly created this lovely space with no details amiss; hand-crafted ceramics, a custom headboard created from locally-sourced trees and little touches throughout. There is plenty of outside space to relax at Little Jenny Wren, the private patio is the perfect spot for a barbecue, perhaps with freshly caught mackerel for supper. There is also a large lawned area which is all yours, perfect for a little picnic or just relaxing on a blanket with a good book.
Little Jenny Wren is found at the end of a farm lane, the cows and working farm dog are likely to greet you on your drive down through this working Cornish dairy farm. The friendly owners live on site and will give you a warm welcome but of course ensure your privacy during your stay.

Mrs Maddicott
A lovely and spotlessly clean little home from home with extremely helpful and friendly owners, and it was fascinating being on a proper working farm
Mr Scott
This was an amazing find literally at the last minute thanks to the lovely owners and the brilliant help from Classic Cottages. The cabin is very cosy and well equipped, including excellent wifi, smart TV, lovely bed and shower and cooking facilities, as well as a very warm woodburner, and the site on the farm is secluded and peaceful, but also the owners are so welcoming and friendly and available for help or a chat if need be. The farm is easy to get to along decent roads and a short well surfaced lane, not far from the main Helston to St Keverne road, and the surroundings are rolling farmland. You are close to all that the Lizard has to offer and 15 minutes from Helston, but such is the privacy and comfort of the cabin that you can just enjoy the peace and quiet there as well. Highly recommended!
Mrs Lawson
What a wonderful couple of weeks! Jane and Stephen were hospitable hosts, cabin-life was cosy, comfortable and so simple. Every morning and every night was a treat just to soak up the sounds and calm of the dairy farm. Being around the cows was a real plus, loved it. This location enabled us to explore many SW Coastal Path circular walks on The Lizard, both exhilarating and exhausting (at times), but beautiful and peaceful too, and of course it was nice to know we'd be returning to our home from home, Little Jenny Wren. We have made some wonderful memories, our thanks go out to Jane and Stephen, we'd certainly love to return.

Little Jenny Wren is a delightful Chalet situated in a quiet spot on a working diary farm, with views looking across open fields and rolling hills, an idyllic spot if looking for that rural get away. Little Jenny Wren is both comfortable and well equipped, offering a more simple lifestyle in a beautiful location. A warm and welcoming arrival is received from the hosts making your stay feel relaxed. 'Highly Recommended'.
Mrs Burt
Little Jenny Wren is simply gorgeous! It is delightfully furnished and very comfortable. The location, on a working dairy farm, is so beautiful and peaceful with far reaching views across rolling countryside. It is well placed for exploring this part of Cornwall and many places of interest are within easy reach. Would definitely recommend visiting the Minak Theatre, the tin mine at Geevor, St Michael's Mount, Kynance Cove, Coverack, the Lizard Penninsula and many splendidl walks around gorgeous gardens. The owners are extremely welcoming and friendly and the other inhabitants, the dairy herd, are very appealing and well behaved!! We loved it!

Loved the location, not very far from everything yet very quite and relaxed. Owners very friendly and helpful. Great that it had good wifi as no phone signal otherwise. Lovely feel to it, very cosy and great to hear the owls and birds around you.

Cosy and comfortable little retreat, perfect base for walking the South West Coast Path.
Mr Benwell
Our stay here was lovely and the cabin was very cosy, especially with the woodburner on! The hosts were so helpful and went above and beyond offering help when we had car trouble and providing a gorgeous homemade cake when we arrived! It is just as described and the decor was both quirky and homely. (Be aware that the WiFi and phone signal is very patchy but can just about be accessed on the door side of the cabin.)
