A rural paradise awaits at Owls House, a sweet and cosy retreat nestled in the tranquil Cornish countryside, ideal for families looking for an unforgettable country escape.

As you arrive, you're sure to be charmed by this beautiful single-storey barn, with an oh so lovely location tucked away somewhere quite special. Take a step inside to the welcoming hallway, which leads through to the open plan living space. Take a step down into the roomy kitchen and dining area - perfect for preparing a feast and enjoying sociable mealtimes, with double doors which open out onto the garden. The lovely sitting-area has plenty of options for relaxing, with squishy sofas and armchairs perfect for lounging and playing board games, after a day exploring your surroundings.

The three bedrooms are rather sweet. The first is a cute and cosy king-size room with a fabulous en suite shower-room, bedroom two is a lovely twin room and the third is a charming single room with pretty garden views. The bedrooms are a wonderful place to rest your head at the end of the day. The family bathroom is rather special, with a roll-top bath for evening soaks and a stylish shower too.

The fabulous outside space is a real treat. With a sunny, private south-facing garden and patio, you'll spend plenty of time out here; coffee in the morning sunshine, blissful evenings dining al fresco and leisurely afternoons soaking up your tranquil surroundings.

Owls House is a great place to stay and the garden is a little paradise.

Mrs Porter

Property is in an ideal position for visiting both coasts. Little local station St.Erth has a train to St Ives every 30 minutes also stopping at Carbis Bay which we used.

Mrs Best

A very spacious and comfortable property with ample parking in a quiet location with a good sized safe and secure garden. Access is down a single track lane with limited passing places but traffic is minimal. Location is good for exploring different parts of Cornwall but you do need to travel by car.

Mrs Fletcher

Lovely house, great location for exploring Cornwall. It had everything we could need.

Mrs Norcup

We found owls house very clean with all the things supplied for a relaxing and comfortable stay so peaceful, the garden was lovely with lovely flowers and secure for our dog,the lane to the house was very narrow and not many passing places but that is not a problem if you drive carefully, the owner lives within the courtyard and is a lovely person.

Mrs Sedgwick

Lovely spacious cottage, in an ideal location for exploring the whole of south west Cornwall.

Mrs Jones

The cottage was clean comfortable very quiet and relaxing near to a lot of places to visit the owner was very helpful hope to go back again sometime.

Mrs Buckman

I had a lovely few days at Owls House. The cottage was spacious, warm and cosy. The bottle of wine, water and milk in the fridge was very much appreciated on arrival and the fresh daffodils on the kitchen table was a nice touch. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need including some condiments in the cupboard. The bed was comfortable as was the sofa which made for a relaxing evening in front of the television with all the channels you could possibly need and even some books if you fancied a read. There were lots of good walks on the doorstep if you didn't want to venture too far although Hayle was only a short drive away if you wanted to be near the coast and has plenty of shops and places to eat. I would definitely recommend Owls House and hope to return again in the future.

Owls House felt rural yet within 8 minutes of Hayle. Ideal location for guests looking for a countryside experience and easy access to local towns, restaurants and nearby beaches. The main bedroom bed was comfortable. The open plan living room kitchen and dining area was spacious. The fenced in outdoor patio and garden was perfect for my 4 legged friend.

Mrs Mansfield

Good location, comfy beds, friendly owners.

Mrs Langford

Be warned of windy mudy road as it had been raining heavenly. One doesn’t get that in towns pictures of owls house is not as one finds it —- on a bend the farm is more obvious then then. Owls house tucked round through the entranc of Treven barn

Mrs Bartlett

We had a lovely holiday at Owl’s House. It’s very comfortable with plenty of space, a pretty garden and ample parking. It is close to many beautiful beaches and some local attractions, as well as Hayle with its supermarkets. The Prosecco, cookies and milk on arrival were appreciated. The lane accessing Owl’s House is narrow but we were lucky not to meet another vehicle face to face during our stay.
