We absolutely loved Traboe Cottage, it was absolutely perfect for our family! The cottage is of a very high standard and has everything you need. It’s a great location and the garden is a big asset. We would definitely recommend it and the wonderful owners, Debbie and Damian were very receptive to any queries we had. A wonderful holiday!
Mrs Skinner
Beautiful, spacious & comfortable cottage which has nice homely touches and is obviously well cared for and cleaned well. We instantly felt at home and relaxed inside and took full advantage of the lovely conservatory overlooking the tree filled garden. Traboe is an amazing tranquil, rural location and the huge beautifully kept garden really enhanced our holiday. 10 out of 10. Can't really think of any criticisms except the mattresses are on the soft side if you are used to a firm mattress. A very special place.
Mrs Burge
We had an excellent stay at Traboe Cottage which is located near all the places we like to visit. Well equipped cottage, spacious conservatory overlooking beautiful immaculate garden. Helpful owners, we enjoyed the generous welcome pack, thank you! We hope to return again.
Mrs Fletcher
We had a fabulous stay in Traboe Cottage. The cottage is beautiful inside and out and very clean and welcoming. A home away from home, comfortable and full of character. It’s ideally located within a minute or two to a main road for easy access to all the sights in the area yet is peaceful and quiet. We travelled as a family with children and a dog and there was something for everyone to appreciate. The house was dog friendly and our cocker spaniel loved the garden with all its space, trees and borders. Excellent beaches, coves and villages to explore and the proximity to Goonhilly Nature Reserve amazing for a dog walk. A thoughtful welcome gift was left by Damian and Debbie which was much appreciated by us all. We’d love to revisit the area again in the future.

Had a wonderful stay at Traboe Cottage. My dog loved the large gardens. It was great knowing that he was safe to potter around as the gardens are enclosed. An excellent location, not far from the beaches and some great pubs nearby. Check out the Cadgwith Cove Inn on a Tuesday for the folk music night and a Friday for the Sea Shanties. Helford Village is around 15 mins drive and has a nice pub. I did a trip on the Helford with Helford River Cruises. I would recommend this trip. I would definitely return to Traboe Cottage.
Mr Wilson
A really lovely cottage with lots of space for a family or group of friends. The large garden is a particular highlight with lots of different areas to explore and while away some time in if needed. Although there are no facilities in the tiny village of Traboe, it is very well situated in the middle of the Lizard peninsula, so the coast in all directions is no more than fifteen or twenty minutes away. Debbie and Damien are excellent hosts and available nearby if you need them.
Ms Jeal
Traboe cottage is a lovely comfortable spacious house with an enormous beautiful garden. It’s a ten minute drive from the coast and is well located for many beautiful spots in Cornwall. We’ve stayed twice and I’d highly recommend.
Mrs McCann
What can we say? We've just returned from a truly tremendous stay at Traboe Cottage and we could not recommend it highly enough. Located in a lovely peaceful spot but with so much to see and do right on the doorstep, it was perfect in every way. The gardens are immaculate and a beautiful haven to retreat to at the end of a busy day exploring. Entirely enclosed which meant we could let our two dogs roam with peace of mind. The kids loved having space to play and the bamboo den was a huge hit. Thanks so much to Debbie and Damian for their lovely welcome pack and for equipping the cottage with everything we needed - even ice lolly moulds for the children. Just wonderful. We didn't want to leave and will definitely be booking another stay!
Dr Napier
What a great cottage! Fabulous house set in beautiful gardens, private location and everything you could hope for! Honestly, this is the perfect holiday home, nothing more to say. Thanks for a great week.
Mrs Lloyd
With such amazing weather we couldn't fail to have a fantastic and magical holiday here at Traboe on the Lizard. Add to this the wonderful garden, peaceful location, together with all the space this property has to offer - great for family gatherings or personal space and quiet time out - and the beaches, paths and River Helford, and you have all the ingredients for a perfect holiday! The Owners were friendly and welcoming and very helpful. All of us enjoyed Kayaking on the River Helford with Koru and swimming at Kynance Cove at low tide, surrounded by the red glow of the sunset on the horizon and the moon coming up - some very magical moments to treasure. This is a cottage that we would certainly consider returning to.
Ms Jeal
The cottage was absolutely charming. It was incredibly comfortable and well equipped. The garden was amazing - we had a very happy time playing games and having cream tea there. We would definitely come back in a shot!
Mrs Liddiard
Friendly hosts, amazing garden and the house was lovely and spacious for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves.
Mrs Fieldsend
My family and I loved our stay at Traboe Cottage. We had some wet days but the cottage is spacious and light so we just relaxed and enjoyed the scones and clotted cream that had been provided, when the sun shone we made the most of the beautiful garden. You won't be disappointed.
Mrs Greenwell
We absolutely loved our time at Traboe Cottage - everything from the welcome card on arrival to star gazing in a pitch black sky to exploring the large gardens to the complete peace and quiet - perfect! The Greenwells August 2020
Mr Scheib
Traboe Cottage is the most beautiful country cottage set in perfect peace and tranquility. Simply stunning and a real privilege to be able to stay here, especially as the first ever guests. We have stayed at dozens of cottages all over the UK and none beat this!! Perfectly presented, immaculately clean and every luxury you could ever need. The various elements of the gardens are a delight too and seem to go on and on but completely private, fully secure and so nice to explore. We had 2 fantastic weeks in the heart of Cornwall after all the recent daily challenges and were very sad to leave and can not recommend this highly enough for future guests. Thanks to the owners for discretely looking after us and also for the welcome delights to get us truly in the Cornish spirit on arrival. We will be back for sure at some point. Neil, Jo & Teddy the cocker spaniel from North Yorks.
Mrs Ambrose
In a fantastic, secluded location for easy access to all that the Lizard peninsula offers. The garden is extensive with a lovely sitting area to be able to enjoy an early evening drink.
Mrs Quinlan
Traboe Cottage is an absolute delight. When booking we were impressed by the photos of this lovely house but when we arrived the cottage exceeded all our expectations! The garden is outstanding - a beautiful space to relax and unwind.
