Lovely property, spacious rooms, well situated for local amenities. Pool table in external outbuilding a bonus. Overall a great place to holiday.

We have been here a number of times and it never disappoints us the home is lovely and the extra treats is a great touch cant wait till Nov when we will be there again

We stayed at Bona- Vista cottage for 2 weeks and had a fantastic time. There is everything there that you need for a fantastic holiday. It's the best cottage in Cornwall we have stopped in and we've been going to Cornwall for the last 25 years. Would definitely book again.

Great holiday cottage. The children loved the pool room and the galleried area by their bedroom. We all loved the welcome gifts. The location was great. Very quiet and peaceful yet could walk to the bakery, to Cadgwith Cove and the coastal path. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely week. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed and the welcome treats were a lovely addition. The kids loved playing pool. Kennack sands beach is a 6 min drive, check tide times and get there early to park and get a good spot. If you are looking for dog friendly you have a bit of a trek over a hill but definitely worth it. The local post office is a short walk with basic supply’s and nice coffee shop (although the coffee shop is closed Sundays) The hill down to the harbour is very steep but a lovely little village. There is a dairy close by and easy to walk to. Great ice cream! There is a nisa at the nearby holiday park which is well stocked. Overall we had a great week. We used our car everyday as although there are walks nearby the roads are single track and not safe with kids or dogs.

Stayed Christmas 2021 and 2022. Lovely cottage away from the hustle and bustle with the advantage of having a lovely small farm shop minutes away. Convenient to visit beautiful Cadgwith Cove and the friendly Pub with good food

This property was a fantastic find. Well priced, well equipped, and lovely welcome gifts upon arrival. The boiler cupboard was great for drying out clothes after being caught out in wet weather. Close enough to visit all the attractions whilst still feeling out of the way. Would definitely stay again next time we are all visiting Kernow.

Lovely property with a secure garden. The house was fully equipped for cooking and nice and spacious. A good location on the Lizard and Cadgwith Cove a short walk away .

We had a wonderful week at Bona Vista. The house was more than comfortable with everything we needed and was very clean on arrival. The owners had provided a lovely welcome pack of goodies which included chocolate and Prosecco! So we were all very happy. The pool table at the bottom of the garden was great too. Ruan Minor is a beautiful village, with very friendly locals and so close to so many gorgeous beaches, the coastal path and tourist attractions. Thank you for a lovely holiday

Lovely, welcoming and comfortable property in a fantastic location to explore south Cornwall. The walk down to Cadgwith is scenic and easy to do from the property. The pool room is a great place to have some fun once the sun goes down. Everything you need is provided and the welcome treats were very much appreciated.

Great house and location. Really lovely thoughtful gifts left by the owners for our dog as well as prosecco, milk and biscuits. Very welcoming. Lovely house and comfy beds. Only suggestions would be a larger saucepan/wok and a smart TV for evenings/children/rainy days! Pool room was loved and provided very entertaining tournaments!

Great place and location a large clean property which offers good value for money in comparison with other properties in the area, finding its easy and check in/check out also painless. It has all the things you would need or expect and some great find.

Showing a spirit of Hospitality in a Pandemic is difficult, yet the Host did it - providing Prosecco in the fridge, specialty biscuits on the table and fresh roses. Space in the bedrooms is excellent and the pool room in the garden is great Assett. We settled in quickly. Location is really useful, 10 mins by car to many of the walks and beautiful harbours we like.

Lovely homely base for seeing the beautiful sights in SW cornwall. Would recommend. Only one point. There is just two of us which stayed in this 7 bedded house and only two if us booked for next year too so a discount would be a good consideration given the reduced amount of work required on changeover day.

We had a wonderful holiday at BonaVista. It had everything you needed. It was warm, comfortable and well equipped. Also within easy walking distance to the coast and coastal paths for great walking. Our son loved the pool table too. Would definitely recommend it.

This holiday must be at least our fourth stay. It's a bit big for just two people and a dog but the level of equipment and the comfort of the furnishings coupled with its handy location makes it a perfect base.

Brilliant place to stay on the Lizard. Easy access to get to places. Really comfortable and well appointed. Lovely welcome gifts from the owners. This is our second stay here and I would recommend it to anyone.

exactly as described, spacious, very clean and well equipped holiday accommodation, will return. Owners took the trouble to check that all was well with the property, on our arrival.

We did not meet the owners but in two brief telephone conversations it was obvious that they are very kind and thoughtful people and it is no surprise that their property is so well-kept and welcoming.

A super property, best equipped we have ever stayed in. Clean and comfortable and a good location. Village shop 15 minutes walk which sold just about everything. 40 minutes walk down the lanes to the Cadgwith Cove Inn (and 40 minutes back too!). We often say that we'd stay somewhere again but never do - but we will be going back to Bona-Vista as we had a wonderful week. Can't speak highly enough.

I contacted Classic Cottages via the online chat to enquire about local parks and places to safely walk my dogs. They went about and beyond to help me. Bona Vista is a lovely place to stay, really comfortable and the owners really do go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. We had a wonderful couple of weeks and took my 2 dogs along with us. The Pool Room at the bottom of the garden and the owners left some money so the kids could play. Lovely garden for BBQ's. Highly recommend!

Very comfortable and spacious. Well located for visiting anywhere on the Lizard without having to drive up narrow lanes each time to get out. Good safe garden for the dog (and for the children in good weather). Owners left treats for us all and rang to check everything was fine. We will come again next year.

Overall rating, below, from 2 to 3 stars, some things 4 stars. The property was dry and relatively mould free (but check shower), and the heating was excellent and a bonus in bad winter weather! Kitchen good. The main 'book' of information had apparently gone awol (as we were informed on the owner's welcome card, so we had no notice of rubbish/recycling dates etc. and probably other useful bits of information. Very pleased with welcome wine and biscuits and spray of flowers - a nice generous touch.

The welcome gifts for us and our dog were a lovely touch. The pool room at the bottom of the garden was a bonus. The cottage was very well equipped and comfortable. It is very well situated for exploring the Lizard and only a short drive to other coves and tourist attractions. We hired the cottage for two weeks, for two adults and a Labrador. We had loads of space as the cottage can easily accommodate at least seven. I would recommend to family and friends. The owner contacted us throughout our stay to ensure we were happy at the cottage.

This was a beautiful cottage, perfect for our family holiday with the children and the grandparents! It was a wonderful location and gave us a great base to explore some fantastic places in the surrounding area. It was clean, well equipped and very spacious. The owners were super friendly, adding some great welcoming touches to the place, and very helpful when we had questions. We had a fantastic week and would definitely love to come back!

We hired the cottage in the first week of November. We were thrilled with the cottage - it was all such a high standard, it was spacious, clean, and cosy. The location was great for walking around the Lizard. We had a great week and would love to return.

Very good location within the Lizard with easy access via road or walking to a number of local villages. The cottage is ideal for a large family or two smaller families sharing. The addition of the games room with pool table is great for the evenings where the weather isn't very good. Fairly close the main Lizard to Helston road means that it is very easy to access any of the local villages. Very clean and a warm welcome from the owners.

We will be booking again for next year.

We had a fabulous stay at this cottage. The village of Ruan Minor is in a perfect location for visiting the rest of the peninsular as well as being very easily accessible for the road back to Helston. The cottage is well furnished and equipped and the enclosed garden was great for the dog. It is also southerly facing so gets sun all day. The teenagers and my husband also enjoyed the pool table. Cadgwith is a short walk away for pubs and cafes and we also walked to Kennack sands in 35 minutes. Great cottage and great location.

The place was very nice, clean and tidy along with being quite large which can easily accommodate either a large family or two families with 3-4 children. The welcoming extras were very much appreciated. The cottage is in a perfect location for getting around the peninsula being very close to the main Helston to Lizard road.

The cottage had everything we needed and was in a lovely location close to many walks in the area and the beautiful Cadgwith Cove. The cove's inn was 20 minutes walk away, but remember a torch for the way back!

The most comfortable, welcoming property we have stayed in. Highly recommended.

Bona-Vista is a lovely, spacious, peaceful place to stay to relax and enjoy the beautiful Lizard countryside and coves. Thank you to Mr & Mrs Pankhurst for preparing Bona-Vista for us to stay in at such short notice. The lovely roses were very welcoming.

This is a very clean, comfortable and most of all spacious cottage in a nice quiet location. We really enjoyed our stay, it was a great base for exploring the area and our dog loved the big garden, it's just a shame the weather didn't let us sit outside for a barbecue!
