Good or bad, we publish all the reviews left by the guests who have stayed at this property.

Mrs Wilding

This is a perfect house for large groups or multi-generational family holidays. The location is excellent and the house fitted to a high standard. The garden is gorgeous and although we stayed in winter, I would imagine it is glorious in the summer. The managing agents were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

Mrs Alton

We had the best week ever at Lower Widdecombe Farm, the location is stunning! pick up the coastal path to Beesands or Torcross both amazing beaches. The house works so well for large groups, it has everything you need, flows really well and plenty of space. I couldn't recommend this house more! 5 stars!

Mr Engerran

Lower Widdicombe Farm is a lovely large house with a perfect entertaining kitchen dinning room. The large garden is also great for families & perfect if you also bring your dog on holiday too. We have stayed there at Easter for the past six years with children and grandchildren who have always thoroughly enjoyed it.

Mrs Handley

Beautiful setting. The farmhouse is really well appointed and comfortable. Great family and friends space. Gardens are well kept and secure and a great place for playing games and chillin.

Mrs Kabala

Lower Widdicombe farmhouse is beautifully renovated, well equipped and a perfect setting for our family group (3 generations and 2 dogs)…… Lots of space in the house and garden for all. 20 minute walk to the beach for great swimming and other activities. Other quiet unspoilt beaches nearby away from crowds. Stunning scenery and coastal path walks. I would thoroughly recommend

Ms Atkins

An absolutely super, well equipped big house in a beautiful location.

Mr Whatling

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location, ideal for large family get togethers

Ms Jackson

This is a lovely spacious house. Easy and practical for lots of people to come in from the wet or full of sand. An extremely well equipped and impressive-looking kitchen…not as efficient as it could be though, it can get a bit congested! Oddly, there’s only a small drinks fridge in the kitchen, a lovely big fridge freezer is in the next room. The sofas and chairs are lovely to look at but uncomfortably deep. Even the kids couldn’t sit in them for too long! A yellow alert for anyone with a dodgy back. Beds and bedrooms very comfortable, a couple of en-suites had tiny (but stylish!) wash basins. Heating throughout the house was excellent. Location was pretty, good for walking, reasonably close to food shops. We found Beesands a little underwhelming. No recycling available. 10 of us had a very relaxed and enjoyable week.

Ms Stevens

A fabulous time in a wonderful house and garden in a glorious part of the South Hams - it was spacious, comfortable, well equipped, quiet and close to the sea. It couldn't have been better. We hope to return.

Mrs Isherwood

Lower Widdecombe Farm exceeded our expectations. It met the needs of all our family from grandparents to small grandchildren - comfortable rooms and terrace for relaxing and a spacious garden for football! The quality of fixtures and fittings was superb. The whole family loved it and want to go again!

Mrs Davey

This is a great property for a family gathering. Very well equipped kitchen and plenty of bathrooms for everyone. Beautiful views across the valley and sea view but the property is a good 15-20 minute walk to the sea across fields - so not a level walk. We had a great holiday.

Mrs Handley

All round great accomodation for different generations of family.. well thought out and furnished.

Mr Howard

Lovely spacious well equipped house on working farm with sea views.

Ms Atkins

Gorgeous house and gardens. Very well appointed and equipped. Beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. Wonderful place for a big family gathering.

Mr Evans

Ms Buxton

Mrs Ashworth

Thank you for a wonderful week for our family holiday in this property. It was perfect for us all from the grandparents down to the youngest grandchild. The facilities more than exceeded our expectations and were of the highest standards. We highly recommend it.

Mrs Deaves

A wonderful place for a holiday for young and old!

Mrs Neave

Wonderful house for celebrating two birthdays and a family get together. Extremely well equipped kitchen, comfortable accommodation and within reach of coastal holiday spots. Hope to come back some day!

Mrs Asquith

We had a wonderful week at this property. It’s a stunning house, very well equipped, so much space, comfy beds, stylishly decorated. It was spotlessly clean. The kitchen is such a great communal space. The well in the hall area is such a great feature. Devon is a beautiful county, and you have the benefit of a country house just minutes from the sea. We loved it, and hope to return one day. Thank you for having us.

Mr Cooper

A Lovely property, in a lovely part of Devon. Sea Views from the bedrooms. A nice walk down to the beach at Beesands, where there is a very nice Pub. Plenty of space for everyone in the farmhouse, we were 7 adults and 6 children. Very large garden, and terrace with table and seating for us all.

Mr Jeacock

We had a very memorable stay in this elegant and wonderfully equipped converted farmhouse. There is lots of space to spread out and relax both inside and out. The location was perfect for us set amongst rolling hills, close to a beach and cliff walks. We would highly recommend. Philip

Mrs Deaves

An absolutely beautiful and well equipped farmhouse, perfect for all ages. Very comfortable, would recommend.

Mrs Eadie

Great place for a multi family holiday, well equipped, beautiful rural location if want to get away from everything, with coastal path easy to get too, & walks on the beach

Mrs Neville

Beautiful house, garden and surrounding. Something to keep the entire family happy no matter their age. Would recommend and would stay again.

Mrs Tennant

This cottage is perfect for all age ranges and if you just want to get away from it all. It’s spacious, comfortable & provides everything needed for peace and quiet. It makes for a relaxing getaway.
