The Foxes Cove
This beautifully renovated house is perfectly perched overlooking stunning Brixham marina. Watching the daily water activity of the numerous fishing boats, trawlers and luxury watercraft coming and going is a real pleasure, especially as you can enjoy all this action from your very own large decked terrace with outside table and chairs and a barbecue sheltered by modern glass balustrades as well as a lower patio for extra outdoor space. There are balconies from the lounge and master bedroom, all offering unspoilt sea views of the inner harbour and then out across the bay.
The owners of this charming terraced house have created a fabulous waterside 'home-from-home' which sprawls over four floors. From sumptuous beds to the delightful colour schemes and thoughtful finishing touches throughout. With larger than average room sizes and high ceilings creating a real feeling of space, The Foxes Cove is a truly special holiday home for couples or families alike. Whether it be feasting together in the large kitchen/dining-room, sparking the barbecue up for a touch of dining al fresco, or simply cuddling up in front of the television, the stunning sea views can be enjoyed at all times. Even two of the bedrooms boast the most spectacular sea views, what an inspiring sight to start the day!
From your doorstep you have such a variety of beauty and history to explore. Heading out in the opposite direction from the harbour will find yourself at the glorious and secluded coves of Fishcombe and Churston, these majestically formed coves prove a real hit with the locals when it comes to a spot of sunbathing, a dip in the sea or a picnic on the beach. Or treat yourself to a walk around the historic Battery Gardens, where many years ago, as far back as the 1780s, this area was alive with military action; most significantly remembered for its role providing a Coastal Defence Battery in World War II.
Or perhaps you just want to dive straight into the hustle and bustle of characterful Brixham harbourside. Fine dining restaurants and traditional fishermen's pubs are plentiful on the harbourside, and only a short car journey will find you in the heart of some of the most delightful and popular south Devon villages and towns, such as Dartmouth, Totnes, Shaldon and Kingsbridge.
Everything about this house oozes comfort, pleasure and style; the perfect formula for a truly unforgettable holiday on the glorious south Devon coast.

Mr Salter
Beautiful views and a good location for the towns amenities. Steep walks involved, however the views & scenery more than compensate for the climb. The house is airy and bright. The terraces are great, we breakfasted most days (weather permitting) on the large terrace and enjoyed the wonderful sea views. Thank you
Mr Zwiefler
We had a wonderful, relaxing week in this perfect located Cottage! It was so cosy and the view down to the sea is fantastic. It was like coming home for us due to this beautiful furnished cottage.
Mrs Ellis
A lovely cottage with stunning sea and marina views. Beware if you don’t like stairs.
Mr. Marienfeld
Highly recommendable house with incredible view
Mrs Swinton
Foxes Cove is a lovely property with amazing idea over Brixham Harbour. We we’re definitely that little bit fitter when we left at the end of the week after walking up from the harbour and walking up and down stairs in the house!!
Mrs Goodman
Beautiful property, the best we have stayed in visiting Brixham. Very good service from Classic Cottages through the process.
Mrs Hope
This was a lovely cottage, beautifully furnished, equipped with everything you needed, even crabbing nets for the kids( our grandson loved this ), and with stunning views into the harbour- even managed to see a seal. There is limited parking outside the cottage but we managed to find two spaces nearby, even when we moved the cars, and there is car park about 1/4 mile away.As the cottage is on a hill, and set over 4 floors, this property may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
Mrs James Wilson
Had a wonderful stay in Brixham. Booking with Classic Cottages was a breeze. Accommodation met our expectation. A wonderfully equipped family home over four floors with the most amazing sea views at the rear.
Mr Nolan
A lovely property with amazing views. Great location and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay and love the area.
Mr HORNE
Lovely house with stunning views. Lots of great eating options in Brixham - and a steep walk back up to the cottage to burn off those calories!
Mrs Thomson
We stayed as two families: two adults, two children and a baby. We really enjoyed the property, particularly the spectacular views from the balconies and outside space. The house is well equipped for cooking and entertainment, was clean and tidy when we arrived and was well situated above the main town. The walk is steep and there are a number of steps on the most direct route, but we managed with the buggy as two people could lift it. We walked to both Fishcombe and Churston coves and they were worth the visit, plus a short drive to Broad Sands beach, which we really enjoyed as the children could dig in the sand. We managed to get parked fairly near the house on arrival, and also following the two trips out in the car that we made. We found we didn’t need to use the car too much and one of the days only drove because the boat to Dartmouth wasn’t running. A recommended visit for a large family or a couple of smaller families as we felt we had plenty of space and plenty of kitchen equipment to provide for everyone’s needs.
Mrs Turner
Beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting. Very clean and well furnished and equipped. Not far from harbour as the crow flies but was down a steep hill and lots of steps so need to be fit or drive down. Parking not easy.
Mr Lawrence
We really enjoyed staying at Foxes Cove, great location and views, the house is well setup and equipped. Waking up to the ocean each morning is such a treat. Everything you might need for a week away is so close, whether that be places to see, things to do or just everyday basics. Highly recommended.
Mr Homer
Lovely house and situation re the views but not the car parking.. Not recommended for the elderly or infirm.
